Don’t be fooled by the gorgeous photos and Instagram this hotel is not 4*, not close to the beach, has awful food and drinks and is in desperate need of an upgrade into the 21st century. I went for 3 nights and it was more than enough time to get a feel of what the hotel offers its guests. It’s over an hour away from the airport and a package holiday transfer can take over 2 hours. If you don’t like walking or waiting around then this hotel is not for you. Every time you visit reception you are left waiting or in a huge long queue but staff are very nice. The complex is huge and if your room is far away you have to walk a long way for meals, bars, pools etc. there are not enough sun loungers and they are all reserved by 10am (even out of season). If you want a pool towel it’s €10 to hire one in cash and the cash machine in the lobby will charge you €5. The drinks are weak and cheap on the all inclusive. The food is probably the worst I have ever experienced in an all inclusive hotel, we ate out after the first day as it is just inedible. Entertainment was awful. Says the beech is 400m away but it’s actually a good 20 minute walk. The air-con in our room was broken when we arrived but they sent someone to fix it by the time we returned that evening. The rooms are very dated but the cleaning was excellent and staff so helpful (and they have to be because the key cards to rooms stop working so often and they have to let people into rooms constantly). There are no tea and coffee facilities in the room and you have to walk all the way to the restaurant for hot drinks in the morning or you can hire a kettle for €3 a day, which is ridiculous. I would never return and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

I stayed at this hotel in June 2024 and was desperate to go back and so stayed again in April 2025. There is a lovely feel about this hotel and its surrounding areas. The beach is a short walk across the road and Morro Jable's main strip is around a 10/15 min walk away. The food is amazing at the hotel, there are always lots of choices (my favourites were the crepes/pancakes at breakfast and the guacamole at the snack bar). Lovely seating area outside for during meal times and the snack bar is great if you want a snack during the day. The entertainment can be a hit or miss but the ABBA girls were great! This hotel resort is a great place to stay if you want a chilled out holiday. The first time I stayed I used the main pool and this time I upgraded to the royal level which was nicer as it was quieter and had an amazing view of the resort and the beach. I would recommend visitors to try the el buddha cafe at night time if you would like to stay out a little later as things shut relatively early in the hotel and at the main strip. It is lovely that the hotel allow a charity to come in and feed stray cats. It was so nice to see the same cats again this year and that they are happy living at the resort. The only negative thing I would say about the hotel is that the lights can be quite bright at the bars, in the canteen and when they turn on after the entertainment. I feel that dimmed lights would help to create a more chilled environment for people staying. I will definitely be coming back to this hotel again!

There are literally no sunbeds, at all. There’s probably about half the amount of sunbeds to the number of guests here! I get that it’s is peak holiday season but they have room to f it more sunbeds to accommodate guests. Every day we have seen guests sitting on the ground waiting for sunbeds. Sunbeds get reserved over lunch and most of the day. Not seen any extra sun beds been put out.

I highly recommend this hotel. The view of the ocean was really stunning, great food and service - I didn't feel the need to leave the hotel because the activities and amenities were so great. Also a big thank you to the lady who organized a birthday's surprise for my husband, he will remember it for a very long time:). Every ask was fullfilled, really great service, very clean, everything well maintained, the common spaces were really nice. I felt like in a small botanical garden, so big thanks to the gardeners, who do the great job. Just a minor issue with late check-out that we paid extra and the cleaning service came to us earlier and it was an unpleasant experience to have a woman standing over me while I was packing my personal belongings during agreed and additional paid timelines. But other than that, everything was great. Choose this hotel if you are a foodie and want to recharge your batteries in a beautiful place:)

We spent last week at the Occidental Jandia Playa and honestly we are all still on cloud 9 and plotting to get back as soon as possible. We stayed for a week with our 3 children. The rooms were lovely, the staff were amazing, the pool was incredible, the weather was perfect and I feel so rested from our break there. One of my children has a dairy allergy and whilst I feel the food was so good, there could definitely be a couple of adjustments the hotel could make to make dairy free alternatives available, such as a sorbet option to the ice cream selection, some ice lollies in the freezers instead of just ice creams, BUT there was many milk varieties available and when I brought this up to staff one member went out and purchased dairy free lollies personally so my son had pudding options. He was treated like royalty and we were so grateful and impressed for this treatment. We can't wait to come back. Many Thanks
