I stayed at this hotel in June 2024 and was desperate to go back and so stayed again in April 2025. There is a lovely feel about this hotel and its surrounding areas. The beach is a short walk across the road and Morro Jable's main strip is around a 10/15 min walk away. The food is amazing at the hotel, there are always lots of choices (my favourites were the crepes/pancakes at breakfast and the guacamole at the snack bar). Lovely seating area outside for during meal times and the snack bar is great if you want a snack during the day. The entertainment can be a hit or miss but the ABBA girls were great! This hotel resort is a great place to stay if you want a chilled out holiday. The first time I stayed I used the main pool and this time I upgraded to the royal level which was nicer as it was quieter and had an amazing view of the resort and the beach. I would recommend visitors to try the el buddha cafe at night time if you would like to stay out a little later as things shut relatively early in the hotel and at the main strip. It is lovely that the hotel allow a charity to come in and feed stray cats. It was so nice to see the same cats again this year and that they are happy living at the resort. The only negative thing I would say about the hotel is that the lights can be quite bright at the bars, in the canteen and when they turn on after the entertainment. I feel that dimmed lights would help to create a more chilled environment for people staying. I will definitely be coming back to this hotel again!

It was going so well but it's surprising how a bad experience followed by arrogant reception staff leave a nasty taste. Please beware the shop here sells inflatable sharks and killer whales and even inflates them ready for you to use. When we arrived the pool has several children using them so we bought one each for our son and daughter. Several days later we are told by a life guard that we are not allowed to use them and our son was asked to leave the pool. It is not made clear at all. On close inspection of the sign at the pool there is a small notice with a picture of a lilo that says no air mattresses, accessories or balls. The pool has been full of people all week with balls (I'm literally writing this whilst watching three separate groups playing with balls in the pool). The sign also says no reserving of sunbeds but by 8.30am 80% are reserved with towels. I asked at reception why they are selling items that are not allowed to be used but was immediately dismissed with an arrogant attitude that it was made clear these are only for use in the sea. It wasn't and they are not suitable for use in the sea especially here with the strong winds and it would be extremely dangerous to do so, so where exactly are you supposed to use them? I asked for his name so I could take this further but he refused to give it. We had the same attitude from reception a few days earlier when we asked about using the waterpark at the sister hotel next door. We were given the impression when booking with jet2 that we could use the facility but we didn't see anything about having to pay 40 euros for our family to do so. We were just shut down with "you don't like see your jet2rep" end of. Shame as most of the staff have been absolutely lovely and we had been talking about coming back. Not now. If you're going to have rules make them clear and stick to them and don't sell items to kids they can't use on the site. Elsewhere the hotel is clean but generally in need of updating with many loose or missing floor tiles both inside and outside so be careful if walking bare foot and be especially careful if it rains as it's exceptionally slippery and we saw many people almost fall and few actually fall. We found the food generally good. The star rating would have been so much higher if the reception staff had even a modicum of customer relation skills.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Our room was very clean and we liked our room, which was located in the main building. The staff was nice and helpful. We had couple of minor issues with the room when we arrived. First one of our keycards didn't work and then the door between our room and the next room (for combining two rooms for bigger families) was unlocked. But these problems were solved right away and we were happy with the service. We enjoyed the food. Both breakfast and dinner had plenty of options and the quality was really good. Parking was easy. There were plenty of parking spots on the road side next to the hotel. We also really enjoyed the pools. Water was warm enough for us.

We spent last week at the Occidental Jandia Playa and honestly we are all still on cloud 9 and plotting to get back as soon as possible. We stayed for a week with our 3 children. The rooms were lovely, the staff were amazing, the pool was incredible, the weather was perfect and I feel so rested from our break there. One of my children has a dairy allergy and whilst I feel the food was so good, there could definitely be a couple of adjustments the hotel could make to make dairy free alternatives available, such as a sorbet option to the ice cream selection, some ice lollies in the freezers instead of just ice creams, BUT there was many milk varieties available and when I brought this up to staff one member went out and purchased dairy free lollies personally so my son had pudding options. He was treated like royalty and we were so grateful and impressed for this treatment. We can't wait to come back. Many Thanks

Highly recommended. It's a beautiful hotel. Located in a breathtaking setting. The pool is great. There are plenty of sunbeds by the pool, so it's easy to find free sunbeds during the day. The hotel is huge and has lots of nooks and corners where you can sit and relax. They have a spa, snacks bar, restaurants, gaming zones and live music nights, etc. Beach is about 5 mins walk from the hotel. Beach is endless, and it's stunning white sand beach. Being vegetarian, we were worried about the food on offer. But honestly, the food was good - quite a few options from vegan and vegetarians. Cocktails are a bit average. The room we stayed in was with a sea view, view was amazing. Rooms are decent, nothing great. The hotel is not a very new one, so the rooms and the furniture show a bit of wear and tear already. The staff was very nice and helpful. Overall we would come here again. Our experience was definitely great.
