We stayed in the Grand Moon Palace Cancun Hotel two weeks ago and the service was astonishing. All the installation, the personnel, and the restaurants were excellent. The hotel exceeded all our expectations. In particular, I would like to extend special thanks to Mrs. Ana (Manager of the buffet restaurant at SunRise Moon Palace Hotel). She was very special with our daughter, who has several food allergies. We have never received this type of service in any other restaurant. She was worried and very kind in providing quality and safe food for my daughter. That personalized service is priceless.

Our family absolutely adores Moon Palace, especially our kiddos. This is our 3rd visit. Since they made the honor roll, we asked where they wanted to go, and without a doubt, they said moon palace Mexico. We love the service, and kids love the game rooms and kids club. The food was good and we enjoyed eating at both resorts. Please note: You'll be asked to do a 90 min presentation upon arrival after check-in. You can say NO, but if you do decide to go, please note that they will do EVERYTHING in their power to get you to buy even when they say there is no obligation to buy. They will drop the prices to get you to commit. Even when we were walking out to get the shuttle, the rep was still asking us to make a deal after we spoke with 3 people upstairs... a bit ANNOYING, but know that you can say NO and stand firm on that unless you wanna buy. We went to the grand and were not impressed at all. The kids like the pool and play room, but we all prefer the food at Nicuz and Sunrise, we felt it was way better, especially the buffet. Pizza is better at The Grand, though. Overall, we will definitely return to Moon Palace but only to Nicuz or Sunrise.

We had the pleasure of staying at Moon Palace Nizuc Resort while attending a wedding, and our experience was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the level of service provided by the staff was outstanding. Every team member we encountered was professional, courteous, and attentive, contributing greatly to the enjoyment of our stay. Our accommodations were consistently well-maintained. Housekeeping ensured the room was immaculate, with turn-down service provided twice daily—a thoughtful detail that did not go unnoticed. The dining options were equally impressive. Each meal was of high quality, offering a wide variety of delicious and well-prepared dishes to suit all tastes. The resort also offers an extensive range of activities, providing entertainment and leisure options for guests of all ages. Whether relaxing or staying active, there was always something enjoyable to participate in. Overall, our time at Moon Palace Nizuc Resort was both memorable and seamless. We would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious and well-managed destination for a vacation or special event.
Dead Pool
Huge Resort with Awesome accommodations based on location in the resort. They are divided by names "The Grand" being the first stop when you enter Moon Palace. The Grand has laser tag, bumper cars, buffet restaurants and a huge water park. I stayed at the Sunrise location which is a good walking distance from the pool and restaurants so if you want to reserve a good hotel spot make sure you add The Grand because you'll have to pay an extra $200.00 to go there if your stay isn't at that location. It's an extra $300.00 to use the golf carts to ride around the resort if you want. The staff are all stars and phenomenal. They made the stay excellent including the food and drinks. The chef, cooks, servers and housekeeping give them all raises. The pool is a fun time with the walk up bar to the pizza and snacks. Awesome time don't hesitate and enjoy family fun here at The Moon Palace resort.

This is based on my family's stay at Moon Palace Sunrise. We are members and generally love the Palace properties. Occupancy was below 60%. There are reasons I could give this stay 5 stars. There are reasons I could justify giving this stay 1-2 stars. Transportation and check-in were seamless. 5 Stars. Food was good, not great. 3-4 stars. Best experience at Momo we've had. We usually love Smoked. We ate there a couple of times this trip. While the flavor was good, cold BBQ isn't. It was cold each time. Buffets were ok. Gondola was very good. Service is what makes this place special. 5 stars, and would be more if allowed. High end resorts don't have better service than we receive here. The pool concierge team of Cruz (velvet hands), Jeronimo, Lizbeth, Richard, & Ricky are the best. Victor was our concierge, and was excellent. Service in the lobby was great each night. The grounds are beautiful! Lots of wildlife as well. The pool. This, and the service, is why you come to Sunrise. The condition and maintenance of the pool was beyond sad. Tons of missing tiles (may want to bring water shoes as feet will get scraped if active in the pool). Cleaning/upkeep appears to be an area where Palace cut costs as it simply isn't maintained as well as it was in the past. Not filthy, but not far from it. The biodiesel compounded the problem, as light clothing (even my band) developed a beige tint. The biodiesel also caused a dark brown ring to develop around the pool. Rooms were clean, good wifi, plenty of hot water, and cold AC. We were in rooms 3700 and 3702, so had more space than most. The bar was stocked at least once each day. The spa at the golf course isn't the best. The spa, and hydrotherapy, at the Grand are great! Alberto at the golf course drink station is awesome!!!
