Planned a family vacation so far…. Rooms are nice but away from activities unless you are a timeshare member. They offered a tour when we arrived for timeshare we ended up not doing it. The beach is not great at this location. The pools are nice but all cabanas are reserved for timeshare guest only and it’s nearly impossible to get even one chair for your family. If you are a member of the timeshare it’s great service. If you are not a member the service is a lot less.. all of this money spent and I can’t even get a chair by the pool?!

This was out first time visiting the hotel and we will for sure be back again! We got back two days ago and everything was amazing we had the best experience and felt very welcomed! We want to Thank (Octavio)at Moon palace sunrise for welcoming us and helping us with everything we needed to know and more. The food was great so many restaurants to choose from and the food tasted amazing! The rooms were always clean when we leave and come back and the best part of our trip was the golf carts! They don't make you walk at all always there to pick you up with the golf carts and taking you back whenever you need too! Were very happy with our stay and we will for sure be back again soon! There was also so many activities for kids and the night shows were amazing! Thank you to all the staff members for welcoming us and taking care of us. They made our vacation extra special!

This resort was very disappointing. I've stayed at 5 other Cancun resorts I would recommend over Moon Palace. Hotel was oversold and understaffed. Lines for food were extremely long, reservations were impossible to get. I've never seen a Cancun resort that doesn't have loungers on the beach, they only had them by the pool. We booked 7 months in advance and paid for double beds -they only had Kings available. Had to share a bed with my 18 year old son. Not ideal to say the least. Bathtub in the room was a huge waste of space.

Stayed here for the first time for a work conference and it was massive. We stayed in the Sunrise portion of Moon Palace, and the rooms were spacious and well appointed. The AC was the real hero and worked well making us super comfortable amidst the humid Mexican climate. The beds were comfortable but the pillows smelled super mildewy so I asked for fresh pillows and the new ones were only slightly better. (Told by housekeeping that they spray lavender on them 🤷🏻♀️) The linens and rooms were very clean and the shower was great with the exception of the slow drain.
As for the resort, the food was above average but most of the meals were catered at the conference hall. The meals we had around the resort were good, not phenomenal. Breakfast was the best meal of day and we enjoyed trying different dining spaces. The worst meal was the burger spot near the pools. Don’t recommend that location. The pools were lovely and the large golf carts made it easy to get to the spa and back and forth since our room was a good distance from the conference center. Since it was in Dec, walking around was perfectly fine. It seemed to be really family friendly and overall I enjoyed my time there with work friends.

One of the best trip, with great service and an excellent location. My kid had a blast - with a playroom, beach, and swimming pool. Their app was top notch, ordering room service for in-room dining or requesting room service or amenities way easier and faster. From reception - check-in ( Hugo ) to check-out or restaurant servers (Carlos from Agra) everyone was above and beyond, as everyone mentioned the food was OK, but manageable for sure. Agra Hotel helped with Indian food cravings otherwise it's all Mexican which is not bad either.
