B++++++ The only problem was the ac needed to be fixed service was immaculate. The staff friendly, very helpful, and we are definitely going back next year. we had the spa treatment that was incredible, that experience was amazing A+++++++ the all-inclusive was A++++++. Family friendly and has a separate side for adults food was very good some thing was too spicy but hey we in Jamaica what did expect but the Jerk hut turned into my favorite snack place a must visit place!!!!! See ya next year, Ya Mon

Up front: This is a second-hand Ritz and definitely shows it. 5-Star bones with 2-star maintenance and 2-star service. Spend your money elsewhere. The rooms hallways, carpets, and rooms are infested with mold that instead of fixing, is instead just caulked over and then masked with perfume machines. The mini bar in the room consists of 3 beers and stale sodas. Room: The water pressure in the shower is abysmal and you have about 2 degrees of play for a cold/warm shower before it's just scalding hot. For whatever reason, the AC is set on a motion sensor, so it's only cold-ish when you first set it but then shuts off if you leave or go to sleep. Service: Service was definitely slower than we expected, between waiting 10 minutes for a drink from the bar (which were always too sweet to drink and 75% alcohol) or waiting 2 hours for room service. Additionally, for every smiling employee we came across, there were 10 more that looked and acted as if we shouldn't have even showed up. I'm not sure if there's not a service elevator but we were constantly sharing elevators with workers carrying yard equipment or pushing large laundry trolleys. At some point they had caulked a portion of the pool tiles but didn't mark it off, so several in our group ended up with thick white caulk all over their clothes. Location: The beaches at the resort are beautiful. It's the one shining grace of our stay.

I checked in today and my experience so far has been very disappointing. Firstly the entrance of the hotel is chaotic and there is no one welcoming you. You kind of just have to figure out where to go. No cold towel or cold beverage reception like you would get from an actual 5 star resort. I was “upgraded” from a OCEAN VIEW JUNIOR SUITE KING to a 1 bedroom oceanfront butler suite. I had to wait a little bit for my room to be ready which is ok. When I got to the room, I was greeted by a stale smell of mould and a non functioning air conditioner. Also, the room is tree view and not oceanfront as promised. I immediately informed the butler who tried to get me another room but I was told they couldn’t give me another room and was offered a fan. I went down to reception to speak with the manager and waited for over 1 hr. She completely avoided speaking to me, saying she was helping a family of 5. There was no family waiting there. Eventually the lady who came to check me in has asked me to give her 1 hr to get me a new room. This room smells so bad, and mouldy I can’t even sit in it. I will keep this review updated every day. I’m already regretting being here. A very unfortunate start to my vacation. Posting an update to my review. I returned from my vacation today and unfortunately the 2 star rating still stands. I was eventually given another room which was marginally better, still had air conditioning issues but at least it didn’t smell of mould. Most of the staff at this resort are absolutely incredible and very hard working. My butler’s Nikki, Nicholas & Ricardo were truly amazing but that’s all the good I have to say. The resort has a major air conditioning issue. Most rooms have very poor air conditioning. They did offer fans to customers who complained. Which in itself is embarrassing for a “5 star resort” Without air conditioning you would be constantly sweating. For the 1 week I stayed at the resort, my bedding was never changed, I only had turn down service once, the lobby was constantly an oven. The staff had fans behind the counter but no fans for the actual customers in the lobby. The food is truly mediocre. The only selection of fruits available were melons, pineapples and star fruit. No mango’s even though they were in season. The Italian restaurant and the Caribbean seafood were nice, all others were too salty, over cooked and poorly seasoned. The hibachi restaurant is the dullest hibachi experience I’ve ever had. The chef looked very uninterested and there was no show. The overall entertainment at the resort was terrible and just sad. The hotel room corridors smelt really bad and some parts of the building looked dilapidated. The overall resort needs a complete refurbishment. I won’t be returning to this resort. The only good thing about the resort are the butlers and some staff. The manager should really be replaced. She has no clue what she is doing.

Wow what can I say about how wonderful our experience was? The most beautiful resort. The food was good, but truly what made the experience was the people and the staff. First let me say Marsha was an absolute angel. She took care of us on our dinner on the beach and then was there for us the rest of the trip. Ryan our bellhop was so much more than just that. He was a wealth of knowledge and a friend the whole trip. Stephanie was also so much help in figuring out what to do on the island. If you are going find them and you will have an amazing trip!

Room 1544 Butlers went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed last weekend. The absolute best family vacation we have ever had. Everywhere we went the service was perfect. We had two butlers that went above and beyond each and every day Customer Service was absolutely awesome. Even housekeeping was so friendly and smiling, we did not meet anyone that did not have a smile on their face. Whatever we requested we were granted, the bartenders were Customer Service was awesome (I know they were tickled with my daughters and their dirty martinis with all the olives) The waiters and waitresses at each and every restaurant we went to had awesome customer service, we did not have to do our Butler set up our reservations in each restaurant for every night They just let us know where and what time to be there when we went to the pool or beach we received a cooler of all the drinks that we needed whatever we needed. They truly went above and beyond was totally impressed with everyone Service. They had an answer I could not ask for a better vacation for myself or my daughters we will return. The best part were the SMILES and awesome conversations with the entire staff. I especially like the fact that there were bowls of water everywhere so we were never thirsty.
