Our stay at the Hilton Tulum Resort could not have been better. We are so appreciative of the staff and their hard work does not go unnoticed. The details in the hotel are fantastic. The design put into the hotel is so impressive. We had a great time. Even despite some amenities being renovated and getting things back to normal from the hurricane, everything was fantastic. Plenty of options to make for a great stay. Beautiful scenery, good food and enough entertainment to end the nights with. My favorite meal was with Israel by far at the Japanese Hibachi. The food was delightful and his kind demeanor was all you could ask for. I also loved the 24 hour coffee bar. The staff has thought out all the details to make for a memorable vacation.
Thank you to the hotel staff and the people of Tulum for your hospitality and sharing your culture with the rest of the world.
**Pro tip: Make all dinner reservations when you check in if coming in peak season. Don’t skip on the Ruins and Cenote excursions.

First the positives. Beautiful resort. Very clean, well kept. Staff was accommodating. Food was okay. Not enough authentic foods to select from. Breakfast buffet was limited. Maybe extend hours and add lunch items. Lunch buffet was a hike if you’re on the opposite end of the resort. Also limited. No toilet paper in restroom stalls at times. Check before you go. Need to improve on entertainment. Restaurants were just okay. We were called each evening before our dinner reservation and told to be on time. Told we had a 10 minute grace. Meanwhile, many empty tables when we arrived. Lastly, my partner and I both got sick. And I mean sick. Five straight days. Couldn’t leave the house. Overall, a dissatisfying experience.

All-around fantastic experience! The service was friendly and fast, the people were kind and hospitable, resort was very clean and beautiful, and the vibes were immaculate!!
As a Diamond member, we got upgraded to a spacious & beautiful room with an ocean view. There were so many pools to enjoy & PLENTY of chairs with a good spot.
The ONLY thing we felt needs improvement was the food. We went to every restaurant and the only one we really enjoyed was La Luce! We understand this is an all-inclusive so we didn’t expect the most delicious meals from the start.
Drinks were great!!! I would still recommend going here - but if you’re a foodie, you might look elsewhere.

The lack of transparency regarding closed areas and general information was terrible. No details of dinner reservations, activities, etc were provided at check in. Check in begins at 3pm and the buffet closes at 430pm, therefore there are no dining options upon arrival, as all restaurants require reservation. All lobby pools and kids splash pad and play areas were closed. We understand repairs as a result of Hurricane Beryl, however these closures were not explained or disclosed during any point of our stay. We chose this location for the kid friendly atmosphere, and that was a real miss. Additionally, no activities were hosted to make up for the closures.
Pool 5 in Casa 2 was the main pool and was consistently foggy and dirty. The pool chemicals were lacking and not balanced. Our swimsuits smelt of urine after utilizing the pool!
The breakfast buffet options are limited. Bar options were extremely limited. Pool 5 bar closed at 5:30pm, and the Lobby Bar is not a lobby bar at all - it’s a separate area and closes at midnight.
The best service we did experience was at the La Luce restaurant - Ulises was our server and went above and beyond.

We were at this resort during hurricane beryl and were evacuated to their convention center. Honestly, the staff working during the hurricane deserve five plus stars. They worked over time to keep us safe, fed us, entertained our children, and provided peace of mind. The resort itself needs work. The contractor Hilton used made beautiful aesthetic choices that weren’t at all sustainable. Tiles are falling off the pools, mold on doors, etc. The bathrooms near the pools were disgusting. Limited entertainment due to weather/ construction to main area. And the food was better at the Cancun location, but still fine for an all inclusive. This is a great resort if you have children. The Kid’s Club is amazing! My children loved all of the activities (making stuffies, painting, bracelets, etc.) Staff is friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the Italian and Japanese restaurant. And while the beach is very rocky, we saw so much aquatic life and loved the peaceful beauty of the property! Would like to give the resort another try when it is not in the middle of a historic hurricane.
