Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando

Very close to perfect. We've wanted to stay here for some time and the Hard Rock generally didn't disappoint. The proximity to Universal really makes this a winner and the theming of the entire hotel is top notch. Front desk staff were friendly and attentive and the customer service team really kept things in check. The size of the room is spectacular and the beds were comfy. Only downside for us was the bathroom. It's a bit tight but was nice having the second vanity...that is, if the sinks actually functioned. Both sinks were clogged with one in the bathroom draining slowly and the second sink fully clogged and pretty nasty. Otherwise a worthwhile place to stay when visiting universal.

Stayed at Hard Rock Resort Orlando. Was our first time at Universal Studios Orlando and what an amazing experience! The proximity to the parks was so close and convenient. The hotel was super clean and smelt amazing! The house keeping staff were wonderful. The transportation to Volcano Bay was convenient and right on site. Super trip! Will definitely be returning and staying here again!

Everything was perfect! Everyone we encounter was excellent! All the bartenders, housekeeping, everyone was so friendly! The hotel itself is a lot of fun and is now my favorite hotel at Universal! The pool was so refreshing and quite large and big enough for the amount of people that was there! The food and drinks were also pretty good especially the drinks at the velvet bar! Ken and Skinny at the velvet bar were awesome and the pool bartenders (names have escaped me) were amazing too and they remembered us every time!

Loved the Hard Rock resort. The deluxe room has a pull out bed as well as two queens. Great if you have a big family. We enjoyed the peace and beauty of the Portofino, but the energy and vibe of the Hard Rock is unmatched. So close to the parks! The water taxis are awesome.

I cannot say enough about this hotel. From the moment we stepped out of our vehicle we were transported to a world of beauty, music and most importantly impeccable service. Everyone and I mean absolutely everyone has a smile. The enthusiasm and pride these folks have in their jobs makes any interaction pleasing. Our rooms were spacious and spotless. The beds a little hard but nothing that ruined a good night sleep. Any time we needed anything it was at our door within 20 minutes. I loved the text I received everyday asking if we needed anything and wishing us a good day. We took advantage of room service twice in our stay and we were very impressed at the quality of the food. The walk to the park is about 5-10 minutes through a lovely shaded path filled with lizards, birds and gorgeous landscaping. If walking isn't your thing the water taxi is about a 3 minute walk and it's drops you right off in city walk. The breeze on the water is lovely and the captains had us laughing away. This place is pricey I cannot deny that but the perks make it worth it. Fast passes are included with your stay. The lines were incredibly long and those fast passes made riding a breeze. I will forever recommend this resort and when we come back next year for the opening of epic universe this is where you will find us.
