We just spent 3 nights at the Hard Rock and every day/night were perfect. The hotel is clean and provides a good variety of restaurants, The Palm being my favorite. One thing was common throughout our stay, the customer service. The hotel team members were always courteous and interested in making our experience much more enjoyable. Raymond from the lobby was the sweetest! Always attentive and greeting us after our morning jogs with a fresh bottle of water. Over all a very pleasant experience and looking forward to returning!

If you are going to universal theme parks, get this hotel! The unlimited express passes are worth it! Super close to the parks, I highly recommend using the water taxis (included), check out the beautiful grounds, the water slide and pools! Rooms are very nice and clean, and roomy. Staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! Ask for D'Angelo and Garth! They are a kickass team! If you are going during Halloween Horror Nights, you can use the express pass for early admission! Don't spend the extra $60! Also do NOT leave the theme park during this early time as you can not get back in until after 6! A mistake we learned the hard way! Relax and enjoy your feet and legs will thank you!

Overall the hotel as a whole is lack luster. Good walking distance to parks and city walk a bit over 0.5 miles. Shout out to the employees everyone we came in contact with was so helpful and friendly and the valet worker Orlando was so helpful and accommodating. The rooms were comfortable but in the middle of the night we had a family member become sick and they ended up throwing up onto the carpet. They had no other rooms to switch us into and they estimated an hour for cleaning services to arrive to our room. Mind you it was 2:15am and we ended up having to just sleep with the smell because the children were so tired. On our second day, we are a large group spread across 4 rooms only one off us received room cleaning services, and all our rooms were next to eachother. How does that make any sense?? Overall we were highly disappointed with the stay compared to the price tag. Hate to say it but disney does it better.

The stay was great. We stayed for two days. We always love the walk from the hotel to the park this time it did kind of smell like dog poop from the dog area. I know that’s the heat, but that was a little less pleasant. However, check-in was super fast. A manager even came down and introduced herself. And the rooms are always nice and clean. We got a view of the pool this time definitely worth paying for a view. We did actually try the bar one night and the bartender was very nice. Always love staying here fast pass worth every penny since you get to use it day of check in and check out. Highly recommend this hotel

All in all a great hotel to stay at visiting Universal parks. We had a small issue that was quickly addressed, mostly a misunderstanding. Every staff member was kind and helpful. Dandre checked us in and was by far the most pleasant person we came across, very helpful and went above and beyond for us! The walk to the city walk is very short and if you don't want to walk, the ferry will take you in just a few short minutes.
