Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando

We have stayed here quite a few times. We love the easy access to the parks and the pool. The early entry and fast pass are really valuable- we hardly waited in line the whole time. The room was clean, comfortable bed. The Kitchen restaurant breakfast buffet and dinner were super- although it is just so pricey- really over the top. There is a little food marketplace with pizza and ice cream. The marketplace is also way over the top pricey and you should skip the ice cream as the taste was not very good. One last thing that needs improving is their sustainability- I mean for a very large modern hotel in this price range, one would expect that they would put some effort to be somewhat sustainable and green. As one example of many- not sure why they are still using small amenity bottles. Overall we had a really great time and slept well and would recommend staying at this hotel. The staff are wonderful as well.

I did love the resort for the most part. Very beautiful, helpful employees, lots of family fun. Now the Club level is not worth the extra. The guest seem to leave a mess that wasn’t tended too regularly, not treated any more special then the other guest, and the lounge offerings were limited.

The staff here was amazing!! They respected our time there 100%. When our room sign was out they would text saying that they were available and inquired if we needed anything while we were there. When we came back to our room we never heard noise from other rooms and had no complaints to speak about. We walked to Universal everyday, but the ability to ride to boat was right out the back door for convenience. We felt safe and enjoyed the morning and evening walks back to the hotel! We did eat breakfast at The Kitchen which did not disappoint for a buffet/menu available restaurant.

We had a great time at the hard Rock universal. The staff went out of their way to make our visit the best. Especially Mikaela at the concierge desk. The room and bar service were excellent. We really enjoyed the adults only hot tub and were glad to see it enforced. This is the closest hotel to the parks. You can take the water taxi but it's literally a 5 minute walk, especially if you go through the pool exit. The only issue I had was with the souvenirs being sent to our room. They were all delivered and it went well but every shop in the parks acted like it was a huge deal to do this and that you might not get your stuff for a few days. We got everything day of purchase. I highly recommend hard rock hotel for your universal stay!

Awesome 4 days at HRH Orlando; from the welcome and check-in experience stepping into the hotel we knew we were going to have a great time. We had upgraded to a Deluxe Room with 2 queen size bed - great size. The pool area is brilliant, good size pool and the entertainment is spot-on (DJs and rock music). The hotel is fabulous in itself, the location and Universal Express is the icing on the cake.
