Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando

The water taxi is a nice relaxing way to get to and from the parks. If you want to walk the Hard Rock is super close to City Walk. The staff was excellent. The food in the hotel was amazing. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I will be staying here again. Worth it even without the additional park amenities or even if you don't go to the parks. Just a great place to stay.

I cannot say enough about this hotel. From the moment we stepped out of our vehicle we were transported to a world of beauty, music and most importantly impeccable service. Everyone and I mean absolutely everyone has a smile. The enthusiasm and pride these folks have in their jobs makes any interaction pleasing. Our rooms were spacious and spotless. The beds a little hard but nothing that ruined a good night sleep. Any time we needed anything it was at our door within 20 minutes. I loved the text I received everyday asking if we needed anything and wishing us a good day. We took advantage of room service twice in our stay and we were very impressed at the quality of the food. The walk to the park is about 5-10 minutes through a lovely shaded path filled with lizards, birds and gorgeous landscaping. If walking isn't your thing the water taxi is about a 3 minute walk and it's drops you right off in city walk. The breeze on the water is lovely and the captains had us laughing away. This place is pricey I cannot deny that but the perks make it worth it. Fast passes are included with your stay. The lines were incredibly long and those fast passes made riding a breeze. I will forever recommend this resort and when we come back next year for the opening of epic universe this is where you will find us.

Hard Rock Hotel was absolutely amazing to visit. We stayed several days, in a Club Room on the 7th Floor. You cannot access this area, unless you are staying on that floor and have the key to access that floor. That area offered multiple free offerings throughout the day, such as a continental breakfast, wine/beer in the evening, and various other treats. The staff were professional and helpful (some more than others). The access to all of the parks is convenient with the water taxi and buses. You can walk to City Walk, but it is easier to use their transportation. I enjoyed investing in the Hard Rock Hotel merchandise and noticed the staff who work there also work at the Hard Rock Cafe in the City Walk. We had a great view from our room. We overlooked the pool and could see the fireworks from the Universal shows, during the evening (from our room). I would absolutely love to stay there again.

Location is prime and definitely the highlight here, but for the cost, my family did expect the rooms to be a bit more updated and refined. If you are going because of proximity and ease for the parks there is a lot of value there, but there was also a lot of logistics information that the front desk or ticketing desk did not provide which would have made a difference. Like yes, you can get into the parks early - but everyone can get into the front area so the queue is longer than expected in the mornings as a result. The pool area is great for all ages and the hotel does a great job providing entertainment. The ease to get to city walk is definitely a plus!

This hotel was great for me and my family to stay at on our vacation. The many restaurants were great options for dinner. The rooms were nice but a bit smaller than expected. The lobby was spacious and was a great spot to hangout with my family. This hotel as stable as a fortress! I stayed here while a hurricane came through and you couldn't hear a thing! I would 100% recommend this hotel to a friend.
