Worst hotel and holiday ever! Do not recommend! Wouldn’t even give this hotel 1 star if I didn’t have to, the hotel was dirty, food disgusting, pools dirty and me and my family have ended up unwell we actually had to fly home early as we were that unwell I ended up in hospital. They removed my partner aggressively after 3 days of being there because he was loud after a few drink even though after this the full hotel was full of nothing but drunk people arguing and fighting. They then started being off with me and the kids after their dad was removed which made us feel very uncomfortable! From the moment we arrived they tried to move us to another hotel which we were to pay for! We booked all inclusive and barely got anything the bars only stalked 4 spirits in the “all inclusive” beers cocktails and everything else needs paid separately it’s bad! Considering it’s a tourist hotel barely any staff spoke basic English only thing they could say was tip? Only good thing was our cleaner who made sure our room was cleaned everyday and fridge stocked. Won’t ever be back!

This review is based on our experience and not the opinion of a family of six! On arrival, we were allocated two rooms (as booked) given the size of the family, but on different floors, which was not acceptable considering it was requested directly with Jet2 but also via email to the hotel. However, funny enough, they offered us an ‘upgrade’ for the rooms and to be next to each other on the same floor, which we accepted, so all the family were together. I think we paid £140! The bell boy demanded a tip for taking up the bags, which is his job, and mentioned he accepted all currencies. Pool No chance of getting a sun bed unless you wake up super early, which we did not do. The pool was always busy, but my son did cut his foot on the first day. The pool too is very slippery. Slides (offsite) Kids enjoyed it, but the green slide was borderline dangerous. Slides closed between 12-2, with an annoying life guard constantly blowing his whistle with everyone ignoring him. The food canteen is the closest I could call it, with terrible decor and rude staff. When asked for an ice cream, I was asked to pay for it. Staff We did not encounter one single friendly member of staff at all. The majority, if not all, staff speak little or no English, which is very surprising given 75% of the guests were English. No manners and not even the basics like thank you or please. Even upon checking out, not even ‘hope you enjoyed your stay and thank you for staying, blah blah’. Evening entertainment POOR Arcade kept the kids entertained, but it was expensive, and the little go-karts/ bikes were dangerous, and parents seem to let their kids run riot! Beware— if you have a teenage daughter, male staff can be over friendly and touchy-feely! We saw this multiple times, and even a father asked the staff to go away and leave their daughter alone! Late check out is €10 per hour (my wife asked), but for me, it was €15. (Common takeaway, if you tip, you get a better service, but also they seem to charge for EVERYTHING.) In total, we calculated we spent an additional £700 for one week with my wife only having 1 cocktail at the hotel the entire time and defeats the purpose of ALL INCLUSIVE! Overall, this is not an all inclusive hotel but a half board at best and definitely at 2* hotel. I would not recommend this establishment to any families and book at your own risk!

We had such a great time here! The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the food was honestly better than we expected. There’s a lot of choices and you won’t go hungry for sure. Drinks were good too, yeah some stuff cost extra but it's not really a big deal. The whole vibe of the place was chill and friendly. Big shout out to the guest relations team – they were honestly amazing. Always smiling, always asking if everything's okay, and really made us feel at home. It’s not something you get everywhere. All the staff were lovely actually, but guest relations really stood out for us. Entertainment team was fun too, especially with the kids. We'd def come back again, no doubt.

We stayed at Eftalia Aqua Hotel for 10 days, all-inclusive, 3 people. Right after arrival the nightmare began. After a long night journey we arrived in the morning and wanted to check in. The receptionist told us the room would only be available at 2 PM – unless we paid an extra €200. We refused and had to wait until 2 PM. From the very beginning, they try to squeeze money out of you at every corner. At 2 PM we got a room on the ground floor. The balcony door couldn’t be locked, there were two separate single beds, and a broken sofa bed that was impossible to sleep on. We reported it and got moved to another room – this time with a bathroom in poor condition, broken fixtures, and a huge gap under the entrance door. Room cleaning was almost nonexistent: dusty, dirty, and bad. At the end of our stay the cleaning lady even came to ask for a tip. The atmosphere was awful: drunk, noisy English tourists shouting and fighting all day. Smoking everywhere with zero control. The so-called “island”? Drinks are not included, even though you pay all-inclusive. The main pool was closed twice because someone literally defecated in it. Mats around the pool were dirty and smelly. Food and chocolate were allowed poolside, so everything got sticky and slippery – people even got injured. Sunbeds were “reserved” early every morning. Food was repetitive, tasteless, and of poor quality. All three of us got severe diarrhea and vomiting – just imagine the hygiene here. Drinks were served in cheap plastic cups, not properly washed. Once we even got a cigarette butt floating in a drink. Restaurant tables were filthy if you came after 7:30. The gym? Old, tiny, with broken equipment. Staff were not helpful, unless you tipped them. Overall: poor hygiene, dirty facilities, terrible organization, unfriendly staff, and unsafe environment. Definitely not worth the money. Never again.

Absolutely garbage. The rooms aren't cleaned, and when we reported two faults the reception said they would get fixed, they didn't. The all-inclusive element of the hotel is not all-inclusive at all. Other than petrol stripper spirits, wine and watered down beer, you have to buy anything else. The a la carte restaurant has to be booked on the day you want it, but this filled up instantly with queues starting prior to the booking desk opening. Only 5 parties are allowed to book per day regardless of size out of the entire hotel. The waterslides are open for reduced hours and some were only open for 2 hours in the morning. The music poolside and at the cocktail bar as well as entertainment area is extremely loud to the point a conversation with your family on the same table is not possible. It appears that the general clientele of the resort do not care about the whereabouts or what their children are doing. I love turkey and the people, but this place was all about money grabbing. I'd never return.
