I’m writing this review at 3am on my 6th evening of our second year at this hotel resort. Not because I want to be awake at 3am, I would much rather be asleep right now. The hotel is visually stunning but the building quality is very cheap when it comes to acoustics. So as furniture is moved EVERYDAY, it wakes you up as it sound like deep fingers down a chalk board. I’ve never been subjected to water torture but I’m guessing this is what it feels like. You just can’t sleep, so if that is something you need then this is the wrong place for you. If you have already booked then look to get your money back asap. Last year I thought we were in an unlucky room, but as the service was great, it was worth giving it another go due to the hotel having a good kids club. This year however the service isn’t as good and one woman at dinner who couldn’t understand English just blanked us instead of getting a colleague who does. I felt like a second class citizen, not what you want after paying thousands to take your family on holiday. All I actually asked for was a bottle of Eefs Malt (house beer), not some obscure item. Turkey is a nice place to visit, but best to look elsewhere.

The facility was very good similar to any resort with this level of investment. Food was amazing, very well diverse with excellent quality. However, security level is shaky. During my stay 3 items were stollen from my family, and when I reported missing items to the guest relations, their response was much lower than expectations. My advise if u decided to stay here, keep a close watch on your belonging and be vigilant, which could be frustrating as u are in a vacation and looking for relaxation.

We spent an amazing week at Granada Luxury Resort Belek with my daughters, and I honestly loved every minute of it! We had a room with a balcony right next to the swimming pool - perfect location. The resort is huge with so many attractions and activities for both kids and adults. The kids club was a lifesaver, giving parents a chance to relax too. The food was absolutely wonderful - so many options for every meal, and everything was fresh and tasty. I was especially impressed that they serve food even between 23:30 and 4:00am, which is ideal for those with late check-ins. The main restaurant was always very clean and well organised. Staff were quick to clear tables, so we never had to wait to be seated or queue long for food. There’s plenty of space for everyone, which made dining stress-free. The resort also has its own beach, which you reach by shuttle. It’s a nice little escape and a good change of scenery - we really enjoyed it. A couple of downsides: the swimming pool was quite cold in April, so it wasn’t very comfortable for swimming. Also, I was shocked to find out there was no iron in the room and we had to pay extra to use one - something I’ve never experienced at a resort before. Overall, though, it was a fantastic stay and I’d definitely recommend it, especially for families!

We travelled with a 9 month old baby. Since we arrived the room has been very hot at night and the baby has not been able to sleep. We asked guest relations for a fan but were told none were available and we should try opening the door as the air conditioning was not working (as if we haven’t thought of that already!) Tonight our baby got sick and we cannot leave the room. I went to the restaurant to get a few things for the baby to eat and a couple of deserts for myself and my partner but was told we could not take this to the room as it is ‘the rules’ and something to do with health and safety. However we can pay for room service no problem. Nothing but a scam to make money out of sick guests! Disgusting! The Al a carte resturant we went to 2 nights ago served buffet food on a nice plate and charged €40pp for the privilege? This is not al a carte dining. Again another scam! We will not be paying for this at checkout! Do not book this hotel if you plan on visiting Turkey!

The hotel looks the part, stunning inside, clean & massive but that’s as good as it gets. No aircon our full stay in the middle of April in 24 degrees heat, even though stated on website aircon is operational from April to October. We were told this was not being switched on to May! When complaining to management not even half an hour after arriving at the hotel we spoke with the rudest “manager” I’ve ever come across - we were simply told “what exactly do you expect me to do” then proceeded to tell us to just sleep with our balcony door open all night even though we were on the 5th floor with a 5yr old!!! Ludicrous to even suggest this. It was completely unbearable sleeping at night which ruined our full holiday as no sleep at night means grumpy children / parents all day!! Food was awful - just standard AI nothing special and my partner found a bone in his “boneless chicken”. Which totally put us off!! Walls of the rooms are paper thin & can hear everyone else’s kids crying all night which kept my little one awake along with the heat! Acrade area / bowling is a complete death trap! We paid for bowling & within 2 seconds my partner slipped on oil that was all over the floor of the bowling alley - his ankle became swollen straight away/bruised and had to spend the rest of the day in bed with an ice pack - we took photos of the oil and the manager of the bowling area gave us a refund for what we’d paid (£25) and just tried to dry up the oil no apology or nothing! - would dread to think if it was my little boy who’d fallen!! Staff so rude & do not go out their way to help you at all. Only time they try to be nice to you in was hassling you to buy things 24/7!! I actually have no idea where the good reviews come from as we had the complete opposite experience!! The prices in the hotel shop also are absolutely ridiculous - now I’ve been to Dubai & even the shops there aren’t as much as a rip off! £75 for a Hotwheels truck that’s £6 back home!! The only good experience we actually had was at the private beach, we hired a cabana for the day which was great - 80 euros 10/6pm the waiter we dealt with was lovely & always made sure we weren’t needing juice ect’s topped up. Food was WAY better at the beach compared to the main hotel also. My little boy enjoyed the park & football park. But for a 5 star hotel to have such rude staff, bones in chicken, horrible food, No aircon & terrible management is just not on! Please don’t waste your money, they care more about making the place look nice rather than a good experience for their paying customers!! All this has been complained to guest relations at the hotel along with jet2 - not that either of them care!
