Had a great stay here. The rooms were absolutely magnificent, even a 7 star hotel wouldn’t have those type of rooms. Very clean, very large and very modern. The hotel was beautiful and swimming pool was perfect too. However, a slight complaint about the food as it was average and not many authentic Turkish options. But the biggest complaint I have is the service, absolutely terrible which is why I cannot give it a 5 star review. The staff were very rude, never smiling, just throwing the drinks at you, no service during eating in the buffet hall, considering 30-40% of the customer base is English no staff could speak a word of it. Barman was straight up rude, only the bellboys had some sort of decency.

We just got back from a 8 day stay. What can I say rooms was spacious and brilliant for a family. The hotel it’s self was to big for us, we have 3 children ourselves but this was on an another level amount of children, the pools was packed. The food was shockingly awful, we found ourselves trying to find restaurants every evening or having to pay for the Alcarte restaurants. The only food that was ok was the Stella bar at lunch time. 3 days into the holiday one by one my children all come down with a terrible sickness bug. We have been home for a few days and everyone in our house is extremely unwell still. Would I return? Absolutely not.

The rooms are the best part. You don’t often see this much space and such nice bathrooms, even in the most expensive hotels — so hats off for that. The staff are mostly locals, including elderly people and individuals with disabilities, who are also given the opportunity to work here, which I really appreciated. The animation team keeps things pretty plain and simple, and they don’t always carry out all the activities listed — but honestly, that’s partly the guests’ fault. There often aren’t enough willing participants to form a large enough group for the activities to take place. Overall, great value for the price. One piece of advice, though: stay away from the orange juice. I don’t know what they put in it, but it really upset my stomach. Just trust me on this — it’s not worth the risk.

Don't believe the bad reviews. This hotel is first class. Food is good quality and plentiful, there are thematic evenings, every day we have lamb, fish, beef, chicken, seafood and turkish specialities. For breakfast they even have smoked salmon, and freshly baked pastries, if someone cant find anything to eat itx not the hotel's fault. Staff is working hard in 40 degrees to keep the guests satisfied, some of those guests just dont deserve it. Some of these guests is just unable to even say hello or good morning, maybe a "thank you" to the staff. So if you want a good holiday its a good choice, I would come back anytime.

We spent an unforgettable family holiday (2 adults + 1 child aged 5) at the Royal Seginum in June, and I must say – it was absolutely spot on. From the very first day, we felt completely at home, and each day just got better and better. The service was top-notch – everyone from reception to the bartenders and waiters were incredibly polite, helpful, and always smiling. By day four, the bartenders already knew our favourite drinks – before we even reached the bar, they were already preparing them 😊 Little touches like that really make a huge difference and create such a fantastic atmosphere. The animation team? Brilliant. They were the heart and soul of the hotel. Super friendly, full of energy and genuinely enthusiastic. There was always something going on – games, contests, pool fun, and creative activities for kids and adults alike. Our child was over the moon every single day – from mini disco to crafts and pool games. The animators made a real effort to connect with every guest, and after just a few days it honestly felt like we’d known them for years. The way they engage people is so natural – never pushy, just open and welcoming. If someone doesn’t speak much English, they might not take part in every single game or chat – but the vibe and positive energy are so strong that you can still enjoy yourself fully. As long as you don’t mind not catching every word, you’ll be just fine. Evening shows at 8:30 pm were great fun – well-organised performances that smoothly transitioned into proper evening fun at the rooftop bar. Music, dancing, cocktails and a stunning view from the rooftop – a perfect way to end the day, both for adults and older kids. The food – varied and delicious. There was something for everyone. Each day brought new dishes, from local cuisine to international favourites. Kids had plenty to choose from – chips, pasta, pancakes, fruit – total comfort. The waiters were running around non-stop, doing everything they could to make sure everyone was well looked after. And after a small tip, they instantly recognised us and reserved a table for us daily – we truly felt like VIP guests. The hotel itself was spotless, spacious and well thought-out. Our room was cleaned daily, the air con worked perfectly, and the bathrooms were neat and tidy. Even though the hotel is quite large, it never felt crowded or chaotic – everything was laid out logically, with easy access to everything you might need. The shops on the ground floor were a huge plus – you could find anything you might have forgotten to pack or just didn’t want to carry from home. From toiletries to souvenirs – all at decent prices and with lovely, helpful staff. For children, this place is heaven. Pools, slides, mini club, activities with the animation team – our little one woke up every morning asking, “What’s on the programme today?” 😊 The kids were treated with real care and attention, not just as an afterthought. That really matters. To sum it up – Royal Seginum is one of those places you genuinely want to return to. Great location, wonderful staff, brilliant entertainment and a warm, friendly atmosphere all around. It’s the ideal spot for a family holiday. If you’re looking for a place where every day is full of smiles, fun and total relaxation – this is the one. We recommend it wholeheartedly!
