After a week at the Ramada Resort there are some pros and cons. The room was fine but the balcony was only 2ft wide. The room was in a bad location as it was above the indoor bar/lobby area which was full every night and very noisy. There was no chance of getting to sleep before 1am and on one particular night it sounded like a fight broke out where shouting and screaming was going on til almost 3am. The food was OK and you wouldn't go hungry and the staff were lovely and really friendly. It was a little out of the way location wise but the No 5 bus from outside the hotel will take you into Side itself and the Old Town/harbour area is worth a visit. We used the Spa and had a massage for 5 days which cost us around £250 for 10 sessions so always haggle to try to get the best price. We went in March and although the weather was glorious the pool was absolutely freezing. The Animation Team tried to get everyone involved in activities and were chatty. A mixed bag really but it was mainly the noise and the rowdiness of a few other holiday makers that spoilt it really which is not the hotels fault.

This was a great hotel and great holiday! The room was ok, not super up to date but it was good. The air con was working perfectly, everything worked ! The food was divers and very good , tasty. Everywhere is very clean , in the food court and at the pool area. We were a family of 2 adults and one under 2 year old baby. If you go for the all inclusive , you also get the lunch at the beach bar so you don’t have to go back to the hotel! The ride to the beach was for free and the driver was very nice and pleasant. You can also walk to the beach it is a 10 min walk. Everything was good for a good holiday. There are shops and kids club in the hotel too, everyone is very nice , especially the man who runs a designer outlet ( i cannot remember his name) but he was very nice and accommodating! ! We recommend this hotel !

Ant infestation in room & in bed, cold water for showers every day, food was awful and staff were unhelpful. Hotel is in the middle of nowhere and basically on a building site. No shops nearby that were open in the evenings either. How it is a 4 start hotel I will never know. Arrived to the hotel around 9pm to be told to sit down, have a drink and wait for our room key whilst everyone else behind us were being given their room key’s straight away. After 30 minutes we got up to go back over to reception to find out what was going on, and was then told to sit down again and wait longer which we refused and again asked for our room keys. We were very hungry at this point so asked about food, to which the member of staff laughed and said soup. I thought he was joking and that they would’ve put on a bit of food for late arriving guests. I was wrong and all they had was ‘night soup’ which wasn’t on until 11:30pm. So we walked down the road around 25 minutes to where there were supposedly some shops, it was all shut up and completely derelict. Came back for the ‘night soup’ which was just watery soup and stale bread. The food in the restaurant just continued to get worse, we lived off chips for the couple of days we were there before deciding to leave early, and we are not fussy eaters. Chicken pieces were purple and undercooked, turkey ‘kebab’ was full of fat and grissle. Very little vegetarian options too. All inclusive drinks were awful as well. When complaining about the ants in the room there was no apology from the staff, just said they will get the cleaner in. No offer of being moved rooms etc. We decided to book a flight home after 3 days as we couldn’t take anymore. Worst holiday we have ever been on, would not recommend to anyone.

Stayed for a week recently from UK for solo trip. Pro’s - Staff are friendly - Hotel is quite nice and rooms are okay (although on the small side) - Pool is nice - Few bars - Food was nice and had a few different options each night Cons - Far from most things we rented a car - Not a lot of alcohol choices - Have to pay for internet (free in the lobby) - There is no night entertainment apart from a little few dances for kids. - Beds are not comfortable - The house keeping never once changed my bed the whole week and when they made the room. I’ll attach a photo of how they left it. - I had to ask reception for the house keeping to refill the fridge - Aircon/hearing wasn’t great and was cold at night - In the evenings everyone has to sit in the reception foyer as there is a very small ‘entertainment’ area. - In the twin room the The headboard is designed for a double bed so where the light and switches is installed it’s just above your pillow making it awkward and can bang your head.

AVOID If i could give the 0 i would. This is the worst 'holiday' I have been on. We arrived at the hotel around 9pm to be told to leave our suitcases freely in lobby and go and have a drink whilst we wait for our room, other guests who arrived at the same time were being checked in without being told to wait. We went back around 30 minutes after to be told no and go and to sit down and have another drink. At this point my partner refused and again asked for our room keys which they then handed over. We were very hungry so my sister asked the staff is there was any food and the staff member laughed and said soup to which we though he was joking. We then later learnt this wasn't a joke and there was "night soup" at 11:30pm. We then decided to walk to the shops that were supposedly open and nearby. We walked for 25 minutes to be greeted by building site after building site of hotels and all shops and restaurants shut. We quickly realised that this was the only hotel open in the area. We went back and waited for night soup which was cold watery soup and stale bread that seemed like it had been left out all day. The food in the restaurant got worse as the days went on, none of us are picky eaters but this was awful. We lived off potatoes and pasta for the days we were there, the little choices of meat they had was undercooked, chewy and purple. There was nowhere else to go for food without travelling 20+ minutes in a taxi or on bus which wasn't properly advised. The all-inclusive drinks were also not great. Our Rooms were infested with ants all over the bathroom floor which then made their way across the room to the dressing table area and beds. There was cold water in the showers every day not matter what the time was. When making the complaints about the rooms were just told that they would send a cleaner in. No offer of being moved rooms or apology from staff. We made the decision to book flights home after 3 full days of being there down to all these issues we were having with no help from staff. We were all unhappy and stressed over the feeling of wasting money of this holiday, the lack of things to and lack of food. How this is a 4 star hotel is beyond me.
