The room was nice! No complaints. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food was plentiful but average at best. Our biggest issue was the 1-2 ft. wall of seaweed along the entire shore. The smell was bad the entire time. Although it's not the resorts fault it would've been nice to have known ahead of time because we were told it's normal this time of year. We did book an excursion that took us to a beautiful beach with no seaweed in sight so that was a great day! We will hopefully get to go back someday but will definitely go at the right time of the year so we can enjoy the beach.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Housekeeping was done promptly and staff was very courteous. Rooms are spacious and layout was good. If you don't go for an early dinner, then getting a table at the restaurants is challenging and the wait is long. There is no system of making a reservation except for the Hibachi grill. The world cafe had a good spread of cuisines but the restaurant itself needs some love, upgrades and is Non-AC! The pool is great - my family enjoyed it and the bars around the resort are good too. The smoothie cafe was our everyday stop. Good entertainment for kids of all ages. A huge drawback - since this was the seaweed season, we could not access the beach at all! Also, the nasty smell gets to you. Do not visit Cancun during this time of year or at least stay in an area which is not affected by this condition. This information was not provided anywhere on the hotels website which was quite a disappointment and a shock upon arrival. Personally, my favorite part of the stay was the Spa! Excellent treatments and nice ambience.

My overall stay was acceptable, but I expected a higher standard of service from this establishment. Upon arrival, the staff was extremely attentive and welcoming, which set high expectations. Unfortunately, the quality of service declined as our stay progressed. One evening, my friend and I ordered room service. The wait time was unusually long nearly two hours for very small portions of food that were mediocre at best and did not match the way they were advertised. The staff member who delivered the meal provided excellent service and kindly reminded us to leave the tray outside our door for pickup once we were finished, which we did. When we returned to our room later that day, the tray was still outside. Understanding that mistakes can happen, we called room service to remind them it was ready for collection. The employee assured us someone would come immediately. However, five hours and three follow-up calls later, the tray still had not been removed. By this point, it had attracted insects and even wild animals scavenging the leftovers. This situation not only reflected poorly on the resort’s attention to cleanliness and guest experience, but it also forced us to remain in our room and disrupted our ability to enjoy our final night of vacation. For a property under the Dreams Resorts brand, this level of service was extremely disappointing and far below expectations.

Our stay at Dreams Sapphire was truly magical thanks to the amazing staff. From the very beginning, they made us feel supported in every detail, and especially during such an important moment for us: our baby’s gender reveal. The concierge team, led by Ricardo Lizama, did an exceptional job. With so much care and attention, they organized everything beautifully, and later surprised us in our room with chocolate-covered strawberries and a heartfelt card that deeply touched us. Beyond this special moment, every staff member was kind, attentive, and always willing to make us feel at home. We leave with our hearts full of gratitude and unforgettable memories. Thank you Ricardo and the entire team for making our experience so unique and full of love. We highly recommend this resort not only for its facilities, but also for the warmth and genuine kindness that make it truly special. P.S. We also ordered a cake and a photo session, and both were absolutely amazing and handled with great professionalism

Our family of four had an incredible time! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed—our first interaction was with Jorge the bellhop, who was both friendly and informative. Throughout our stay, we returned to him several times for recommendations on places to visit, and every suggestion he gave was spot-on—we were never disappointed. Each morning, we were served at the breakfast buffet by Archi, Pedro, and Sergio Huerta, and it was truly the best way to start our day. Their service was attentive and always friendly. We miss them already! The staff played a huge part in making our stay so memorable.
