Good value hotel but a bit of a mixed bag. First the good stuff - pool, rooms (if a little tired), location, WiFi quality and cleaning / restaurant / lobby staff. The negatives are the entertainment - incredibly repetitive in the evening and food area - when it's busy your seats and cutlery go missing. The restaurant simply isn't built to cater for large numbers of guests. Overall its a solid option for a relaxing time in guaranteed sun but it comes with compromises.

Single beds were queen size and very comfortable. Toiletries and towels were replenished daily. Room was cleaned daily. Shout out to Muhammad for our daily towel surprises which got more elaborate everyday.
Reception staff were always at hand professional and a valuable source of information. The shuttle bus and golf buggies were an added advantage to get you to and from the beach or spa. We had a regular golf buggy driver. I'm sorry I can't remember his name but he was excellent. The beach bar service was exceptional. There's limited access to the water from the beach due to protecting the coral but the sea can be accessed from the pier which has a lifeguard present at all times during the day. Snorkeling is good from the pier due to the protection of the coral.
Finally a big thank you to Ahmed for making our holiday special he was our Captain in the restaurant his attentive service and humour was exceptional throughout our stay. The buffet food catered for all tastes and was of a high standard. Exceptional holiday was had by all due to the high standards of this hotel and all of its staff including the chefs and all of the bar staff.

Our stay at your hotel was truly exceptional. Everything was simply exquisite – from the stunning pools and pristine beach to the impeccable service, warm reception. Though there was some issue with the bathtub, Overall we really really enjoyed it and I highly recommend it

Our recent stay was a mix of experiences, starting with a late arrival and a limited late-night food selection. Dining offered a variety of flavors, with some hits and misses. The live cooking station lacked variety, but the snacks at the pool bar were consistently good, especially the shawarma.
The grounds were impressively clean, although the view from our room door was less appealing. Ongoing beachside construction didn't disrupt our enjoyment of the clean and well-staffed beach, although more shaded seating by the waterfront would enhance the experience.
Staff were generally friendly and helpful, with notable mentions to Ashraf Khodary and others who provided exceptional service. However, some animation staff were overly persistent in encouraging participation in activities.
The hotel's location was convenient, but the taxi service seemed overpriced compared to alternatives. One staff member made a member of our group uncomfortable, and the all-inclusive package lacked variety in dining and beverages.
Despite these issues, our overall experience was positive, and we look forward to returning, albeit with some improvements in mind.

I recently stayed at doubletree sharks bay and had a fantastic experience. The hotel's location was ideal, with easy access to major attractions and public transportation. The accommodation was excellent, with clean and comfortable rooms equipped with modern amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests. The hotel's facilities, including the pool and gym, were top-notch, and the food served at the restaurants was delicious with a wide variety to choose from.
