My stay at Oasis Resort in Sharm El Sheikh was truly memorable, not just because of the beautiful surroundings, but because of the incredible people who work there. What stood out the most to me was the warmth and kindness of the staff, especially those in the kitchen. Every day, the kitchen team brought not only great food but also genuine smiles and care that made us feel at home. One person in particular made a lasting impression on my family Mustafa, a young member of the team who was exceptionally kind and attentive. He formed a special bond with my daughter that I will never forget. My daughter is usually very shy and rarely speaks to people she doesn’t know, let alone interacts with them. But Mustafa’s gentle and friendly nature completely changed that. Over the course of our stay, they became friends. Seeing my daughter open up, smile, and even give him hugs was something truly special and unexpected. I would also like to mention Mustafa’s boss, Magef, who clearly leads the team with professionalism and kindness, as well as Mustafa’s friend from the kitchen team, who was equally amazing and contributed to the warm and welcoming atmosphere we experienced every day. It’s clear that this team works together not just as colleagues, but as genuinely caring individuals who take pride in making guests feel comfortable and valued. The party at night was amazing too, adding even more fun and energy to the overall experience at the resort. It’s rare to come across people who leave such a positive impact, and Mustafa, along with Magef and the rest of the kitchen staff, truly made our stay unforgettable. Their kindness, patience, and genuine care added something very special to our holiday. If we return to Oasis Resort, it won’t just be for the location it will be for the people. I would be more than happy to see those amazing individuals again who made our stay feel so personal and meaningful.

Overall, we had a fantastic experience at this hotel and would absolutely return. We were a group of 5 - 2 parents, a 5 year old, a 7 month old and granny. Pros of this hotel: Heated outdoor pool, separate shallow kids pool, lots of space and shade around the pool, amenities all very easy and close (eg snacks and towels by the pool) Lots of ramps for prams BUT - see below Blackout curtains in the room, nice proper cot for the baby, kettle in room, comfy large bed, the hotel gave us an adjoining room for granny. Kids club has good hours, was enjoyable for our 5 year old who we dropped off there every day, drop in whenever you like no booking fee, our daughter loved the lady who worked there Irena. Gradual descent beach for paddling, gentle waves, bit of sand, again lots of shade and amenities. Great for small children. Plus there is the pontoon and a little reef for adults and older, more confidently swimming kids. 10 minute transfer from the airport - extremely easy! The hotel grounds are absolutely stunning, feels like we were at a well kept garden centre with beautiful lawns and flowers everywhere. The on site restaurants (Italian, crab, etc) are all free including at lunch time if you want a break from the busy main restaurant. Staff all very friendly, eager to help, very family orientated. There is a golf trolley constantly trundling about so tired kids and granny can get a ride back up from the beach. Food was great! Something for everyone and loads of fresh food. I used the spa with a massage twice and it was absolutely lovely - even if it was quite male dominated with lots of male staff which did feel a little odd at times. Cons: Music by pool and beach - can be extremely loud and out of sync with the laid back vibe No baby facility like a table change in any of the toilets around the pool or in the main hotel. RED FLAG FOR THOSE WITH A CHILD IN A PRAM - there are ramps and lifts all over the place inside the main hotel and around the grounds BUT to get from the pool area into the main hotel there are 15 UNAVOIDABLE steps (see picture). It blew our minds that such thought have gone into accessibility except for this blindingly obvious mistake. It meant carrying the pram and baby constantly up and down these steps for every meal/when we wanted to exit the hotel. Limiting for me and my mum who can’t carry that weight. We asked at least 10 members of staff if we were missing something but they were all as puzzled as we were! Interesting to note the vast majority of guests are Russian and Ukrainian. As English people we quite liked this as it meant we were overheard and didn’t have to listen to conversations around us. They were great fellow guests - no loud or drunken behaviour, kids well behaved, friendly. Also interesting to note that all but 1 or 2 of the staff are male (including maids and table clearers). All very polite and keen to help, a lovely bunch. Just feels a bit different to what you might expect.

Staying here from Oct 26th till Nov 2nd. We’ve been in Egypt dozens times before, so can leave an adequate feedback. From good points: 1. Food is great 2. Location is amazing, close to SOHO and the sea is beautiful. 3. Cleaning is better than in most of Egypt 5* hotels. From cons: 1. It is really hard to get a late checkout, so better to get one more day if you need it. 2. Reception staff might be rude sometimes, might be because of the language barrier. 3. Animation staff don’t speak English, just russian, that is not working for Ukrainians for obvious reasons. 4. Rooms are a bit “tired”, not critical and aligned with the price, but still would be better to fix the cupboards at least. Spa on prem is good (massage and sauna), one issue is with planning, staff will “sell” it as “you’ll be alone in sauna”, but in fact there will be people and you might need to wait for your massage for 10-20 mins. This is common in Egypt, so not a disappointment for us. In summary, I would come back again, but manage the room booking better in advance.

Overall, the hotel is decent — you can have a good stay here. There are some clear positives, but also a few things that affect the overall experience. Rooms feel outdated. You can tell they’ve been used heavily for years and definitely need renovation. Sound insulation is basically non-existent — you hear everything. The air conditioner is also quite loud, it literally sounds like you’re on a train. It didn’t bother me much, but for some people it could be an issue. Food, on the other hand, is good. There’s a decent variety, plenty of meat dishes, and it feels like they’re not cutting corners here. This is a strong plus. Now about the bracelets. It feels like there’s some kind of division between guests, possibly based on region or language. And the question is: why is it assumed by default that you want to be spoken to in Russian? It would make much more sense to simply ask guests about their preferred language at check-in. Another issue is noise at night. Several times, around midnight to 1 AM, people were loudly singing songs in Russian in common areas, and it could be heard across a large part of the hotel. At some point, it feels less like a hotel and more like someone’s backyard. This is something the management should control. Also about communication: if the hotel positions itself as international, English should be the default language. It feels strange when European guests are approached in Russian by default.
