We wanted winter sun, a chilled peaceful vibe, good food and a clean hotel and Jaz Neo Shark Bay 100% delivered. The food wasn't for everyone (among the british crowd anyway which we couldnt understand), maybe if you want biege, fast food then poss not for you although the fries were amazing!!! We loved every single meal we had here. BBQ was on every night. There was a pasta station so you could make our own. The puddings tasted as good as they looked! The snack bar fresh pizza and burgers were supurb too!!! 10/10 for the food from us!! Cleaniness 10/10, the pool toilets were so clean. I didnt see a single piece of rubbish anywhere. Staff 10/10, so helpful and looked like they enjoyed working here, always smiling and sooooo many of them around, this added to the chilled vibe, they werent running around rushed off their feet. Pool 10/10, a brilliant size for the amount of rooms. Entertainment 3/10, not great but a couple of good singers. This didnt bother us at all. The transfer bus to beach, always early which caught us out. Would we come back, 100%

My partner and I chose this place for a quiet weekend, and it turned out better than we expected. The room was spotless, the bed was super comfortable, and the staff were always smiling. We loved the calmness around the pool area; it felt like the perfect escape from daily stress.

A very mixed bag! Let's start with positives: the pool is a great size, lovely and cool too. The entertainment team are super and work tirelessly putting on lots of activities (even though we chose not to do them) and there is entertainment every night if you like that kind of thing. You must bring mosquito sprays etc as they are vicious. The whole staff, from cleaners to chef, are always smiling and so friendly and helpful- thank you so much. A massive thank you to drinks waiter Abdul- fantastic service! Now here come the negatives: the room was very tired with dark wood furniture and the bathroom is tiny- I banged my head on the door whilst drying after a shower! The air con is good but the room cleaning was terrible. I was so looking forward to the fabulous 'towel art' masterpieces but only got one! I dont think our balcony was mopped for the entire stay and the floor was filthy at the edges and corners. After 3 days serious D&V we had not had a cleaner, so my husband asked for a different one and thankfully we got Mohammed who did a great job for our last few days. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere so if you enjoy long walks then don't come here. At the end of 2 wks we were stir crazy from being in the hotel the whole time. You can get the free shuttle to beach but I was too poorly for most of the holiday to venture out. The drinks are terrible, with powdered fruit juices and rubbish alcohol. The blue plastic cups for round the pool taste weird and the bottled water in the room wasn't sealed so we boiled it in the kettle first. The pool bar food is decent and if you like carbs, chicken and beef then you will love the restaurant. Breakfast is best meal of the day. Very little fruit on offer and no ice cream at all( i've never experienced this) except for cheap, nasty lollies from the pool bar. The weather was absolutely fantastic the whole time and would I go back, no thank you!

I recently stayed at this hotel and wanted to share my experience for anyone considering visiting. The hotel itself is small and simple but quite nice. The staff are amazing — very polite and kind, which made our stay pleasant. However, we did face a few issues during our stay, mainly with the entertainment. There wasn’t much going on during the day or evening, so guests were often left quite bored. If you’re someone who enjoys relaxing at the resort and not going out much, this might be disappointing, as there’s not a lot to do on-site. The animation team seemed friendly but there was very limited interaction — just a few words exchanged each day. Given that many guests were English-speaking, it would be great to have at least one English animator who understands the culture and can engage better with guests. Overall, there weren’t many daytime activities, and things felt a bit repetitive and quiet. That said, I’d definitely stay again because of the wonderful staff at reception and in the restaurants — they were always polite and helpful. But I do think the entertainment team could use some improvement or change, as this seemed to be a common opinion among other guests I spoke with around the pool.

We came as a group of friends and honestly didn’t expect the hotel to elevate the trip this much. The outdoor area became our hangout spot every night—laughing, chatting, enjoying the breeze. The staff made sure we had everything we needed without hovering around. Perfect place for group trips.
