This hotel is extremely well run. Staff go above and beyond to make sure guests are looked after well and a great deal of thought has gone into this. I eat mostly veggie and my partner is fussy and only eats Carribean food. It is hard to please everyone but we ate WELL. There is a good range. It is not on the beach but that's not the hotel's fault. They lay on a shuttle to the local beach and make sure you are looked after there and the island is so small,it is easy to get to better beaches and the other attractions. Entertainment is appropriate for the guests and there is a little something for everyone. You can easily pop out if you like a more local vibe. These people are very accustomed to tourists and keeping everyone happy. Massages from the spa were nice. We are regulars to a range of Carribean islands and this was different but still really lovely. We had an absolutely great time and enormous thanks to the incredibly hard working team. Rach xx

The staff and management team absolutely make this hotel . The rooms are great and the food is excellent don’t get me wrong. The activities and shuttle service to the beach and to Castries are great benefits. the staff however are better than all of those The food was great and the chefs catered for us so well. They made special dishes on request. If you’re looking for an all inclusive beach front hotel that is not locally owned with care, love and attention then look elsewhere I was here for 2 weeks and moved to Rodney Bay resorts later - I’d take the Bel Jou any day over those at Rodney Bay Well done to the staff and management team

We spent a relaxing 10 days at the Bel Jou. This was down to the amazing staff in the hotel. The rooms are comfy and cool. We had an ocean view room with a lovely balcony. There are lots of steps around the hotel. The pool areas are great with towels on ready supply from reception. There is a self service bar by the larger pool with a ready supply of beer, wine, spirits, mixers etc. There is also a self service coffee area with snacks and hot drinks all day. The buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner are good. Although they could do with a little more variation. I would not recommend a la carte restaurant as meals did not match the description and a few options had run out. The day time activities are great. We did morning yoga, Saturday walks on the beach and a walk to the lighthouse - all run by Jaffree who is amazing. There is a free shuttle bus on thebupur between 9am and 4pm. This takes you to town and the beach. At Vigie beach there are complimentary sun loungers and staff keep an eye on your belongings if you go for a walk or a dip. Its a beautiful beach. The town has a market and duty free shop but is very hectic. You need to be careful and cannot walk anywhere from the hotel especially at night.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Bel Jou Hotel! It was our first time experiencing an all inclusive hotel and we are so happy we tried it. Sherlorne and the other women at the front desk were amazing and sent us a bottle of champagne for our honeymoon when we arrived. Jaffery hosted great water aerobic classes and the Thursday night steel band and fire show was incredible. The cooking demonstration and the food and drinks on a whole were top notch. We are super grateful for our time there. Thank you to all the staff who made our trip so special!

We just spent a week at this resort and have a lot of praise for the amazing staff. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. Smiles and excellent service were always the order of the day. Jemima and Kidada were there at the front desk to answer any of our questions and offer advice for tours and shuttles. Andrea and Sam showed impeccable leadership as managers who truly cared about the needs of their staff and resort clients. And finally, our favourite server, Janet, treated us like family, always there with a warm greeting at the restaurant. These are the staff who stood out for us, but honestly, the whole team was pretty amazing. Thank you all for making our stay a lovely one!
