I feel that reviews are subject to the type of person. I prefer to stay at a Ritz Carlton or the Viceroy property. The people at the front desk are very nice. The beach is nice and clean. The water park was fun. The cost of the water park was included in the hotel fees. The actual property is bad. Out dated. Needs major repair. Bathroom toilet seat was broken. I was hoping the cleaning lady would notice the issue. Did not. Had to step up into a shower. Not comfortable. The restaurants breakfast buffet was gross. Missing food. Lacked people. There was no service at the beach. No one coming around which you typically see at a resort. The gym was outdated. Some people who did stay at the property were older.

The hotel was nice but the roaches in our room and bathroom made the trip super unpleasant. They offered us 1 free dinner to make it better but it didn’t. Would have been a really great trip if i was actually able to sleep at night and not worried about roaches.

The rooms are substandard. The AC in the living dining area did not work properly even after they came to "repair" it. There was condensation in the bathroom ceiling, the lights were rusted around it to show it was not recent. The beach was very nice and so was the water. I am not coming back to this facility.

My husband and I stayed here and the service was HORRIBLE!!!! I have a lot of dietary restrictions and the restaurant staff treated my husband and me terrible. For all the money we spent for this place, we didn’t deserve to be treated that way. Every time I went to the restaurant, I had to request that they made changes to the dish and they would roll their eyes and give us an attitude. We even went to buy pancakes, so they could make gluten free pancakes and it still pissed them off, making rude comments like my husband “ was security” because he kept watching them to make sure they do it right because they would let it burn. I stopped eating at the restaurant and chose to go to the downtown to eat where they treated me better and could accommodate me. They have horrible customer service, lack of empathy and no sense of urgency. I’d say that the managers were great- they tried to make up for the lack of customer service but this review is to ensure that future customers with dietary restrictions can hopefully have. A better experience and management take the correct actions to hire staff that genuinely wants to be there. The staff looked miserable every single day. Even other people staying there at the time noticed how nasty they were. They were very nice and everyone in the front desk and the one who helps you plan for the excursions. The housekeeping is awful too. They wouldn’t go to your room everyday even if you requested it. Trying to get a towel took them like two days. It was just a disaster. The biggest perk of this hotel is the beach, which is amazing!! Also it’s close to the downtown ( maybe like 15-20 min walk) and there’s also a shuttle you can take.

Absolutely the Worst Customer Service I’ve Ever Experienced I travel every two weeks and stay in different hotels across various countries and regions. I’ve seen it all—or so I thought. But I have never experienced something as unprofessional and frustrating as this. I booked a stay at this property and needed to make a change to the dates. I attempted to do so within 24 hours of booking—well within a reasonable time frame. I called multiple times, at different hours, over several days. Not once did anyone answer the phone. No callbacks, no email responses, no communication whatsoever. Completely unacceptable. I even made a fair offer regarding the reservation to try to resolve things amicably—still nothing. The complete lack of interest in helping guests is truly shocking. For a business in the hospitality industry, this is beyond disappointing. If you value your time, your money, and your sanity—stay far away from this place. Terrible service. Nonexistent communication. Easily the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.
