Be aware that the room you book may not be the room you end up staying in. This is a hotel that appears to prioritize deflecting responsibility rather than genuinely caring for its guests. When we arrived, the front desk informed us that our Agoda booking was actually for another hotel called Bay Gardens Beach, which is owned by the same company, rather than Bay Gardens Beach Resort & Spa. However, after carefully reviewing our reservation, it clearly showed that we had booked Bay Gardens Beach Resort & Spa. The hotel name, photos, and map pin on Agoda all indicated Resort & Spa, with no mention of any other property. When we asked the front desk for assistance in resolving this issue, the repeated response was that it was “Agoda’s problem” and that we needed to contact Agoda ourselves. When I asked whether the hotel should update or clarify the information on their official listings to avoid misleading future guests, no clear answer was provided. This suggests that the issue is known but has not been actively addressed. It is difficult to believe that a hotel genuinely concerned about its guests would remain indifferent in such a situation. We waited at the front desk for almost three hours before finally being given a room at this property. During this time, when I asked when the issue might be resolved, the only response we received was that they were “working on it,” without any specific timeline or explanation. Eventually, the solution offered was： Asked us to pay for another room without canceling the previous room！ Throughout the entire process, the staff did not appear particularly proactive or willing to take ownership of the situation. Whether I asked about the expected resolution time or about responsibility for inaccurate official information, the overall attitude felt dismissive, with the responsibility consistently redirected back to Agoda. If you are looking for a smooth and supportive experience upon arrival, it may be worth reconsidering, as the service here may not be reliable when issues arise—especially those related to bookings and official information. That said, the location is good. Additionally, this is the room we were assigned, labeled as a “garden view.”

My family and I (2 adults, 2 children ages 9 & 3) really enjoyed our time here. We opted for the all inclusive package which was totally worth it and makes things easier with young kids. Food was excellent, staff were friendly and attentive. Our room was quiet, clean and had an amazing ocean view. The pool was perfect and the beach access was just steps away. Every night there was some form of entertainment and was something different and enjoyable each night. It helped that there were shops within walking distance to the resort as we needed to replenish a few things like travel snacks and sunscreen. The resort is under construction but from where we were you would barely notice. Looks like it will be an even better experience once completed, but again; we wanted for nothing during our stay - except maybe a few more washcloths! For some reason they were hard to come by. All other towels were plentiful. The room had a few small things that could maybe use some improvement but nothing that negatively impacted our trip and nothing that would stop me from going back. I highly recommend for couples, families, solo travelers, groups, etc. Great place!

Great location on the beach. Room very nice, big and comfortable. Hot water. Air conditioning 100%. Staff amazing!! Very friendly and polite. It is a small hotel but because of cruise visitors it could be nicer if the hotel had a bar on the beach because only one bar for the whole hotel it gets crowded and the staff gets overwhelmed so the guests. I did enjoy the food. If you are picking you always can order pizza , burgers and fries from the menu. The coffee shop is a plus. I did use the gym and it works for my needs.

The Resort is very clean. The staff is amazingly nice. One of the maintenance guys climbed a palm tree and got me a couple coconuts so I could make "Jack-O-Coconuts" for Halloween 🎃. The food is ok and I wish there was a larger variety of food to eat. All in all it was a wonderful stay. Thank you Bay Gardens Beach Resort for the great time! 🌴 🍹 ✌🏼 ♥️

Jasmine was fantastic! Super friendly, polite and took care of our rooms like it was her own. She never made us feel like a bother even when we had requests on Christmas day, she always went our of her way to see where she could help. Great job hiring 10/10 staff! Thank you for taking care of our family during our vacation!
