My family and I (2 adults, 2 children ages 9 & 3) really enjoyed our time here. We opted for the all inclusive package which was totally worth it and makes things easier with young kids. Food was excellent, staff were friendly and attentive. Our room was quiet, clean and had an amazing ocean view. The pool was perfect and the beach access was just steps away. Every night there was some form of entertainment and was something different and enjoyable each night. It helped that there were shops within walking distance to the resort as we needed to replenish a few things like travel snacks and sunscreen. The resort is under construction but from where we were you would barely notice. Looks like it will be an even better experience once completed, but again; we wanted for nothing during our stay - except maybe a few more washcloths! For some reason they were hard to come by. All other towels were plentiful. The room had a few small things that could maybe use some improvement but nothing that negatively impacted our trip and nothing that would stop me from going back. I highly recommend for couples, families, solo travelers, groups, etc. Great place!

Great location on the beach. Room very nice, big and comfortable. Hot water. Air conditioning 100%. Staff amazing!! Very friendly and polite. It is a small hotel but because of cruise visitors it could be nicer if the hotel had a bar on the beach because only one bar for the whole hotel it gets crowded and the staff gets overwhelmed so the guests. I did enjoy the food. If you are picking you always can order pizza , burgers and fries from the menu. The coffee shop is a plus. I did use the gym and it works for my needs.

Jasmine was fantastic! Super friendly, polite and took care of our rooms like it was her own. She never made us feel like a bother even when we had requests on Christmas day, she always went our of her way to see where she could help. Great job hiring 10/10 staff! Thank you for taking care of our family during our vacation!

Very disappointing and unsafe stay I stayed at Bay Gardens Beach Resort & Spa with my child, and unfortunately my experience was extremely distressing and unsafe. From the moment we arrived, we were placed in a room exposed to heavy dust from nearby construction. I immediately informed staff that I suffer from asthma and severe allergies. Despite this, I experienced asthma attacks and allergic reactions. The solution provided was to move us to another room affected by humidity and visible mold, still close to the construction area. This led to further health issues, including a severe allergic reaction and ongoing blurred vision, which is medically concerning. At no point was a doctor called or medical assistance offered, despite my condition being clearly visible and reported. In addition to this, my child was involved in a near-drowning incident due to a lack of adequate supervision. While the worst outcome was avoided, the risk and trauma were very real and unacceptable. What was meant to be a relaxing stay turned into days of stress, fear, and continuous efforts to protect my health and my child’s safety. A short spa gesture was mentioned, but it does not compensate for asthma attacks, health endangerment, or a child being put at risk. The location itself is beautiful, but serious issues regarding health, safety, and duty of care overshadowed everything. I would strongly caution travelers with children or medical conditions to think carefully before booking.

Me and my wife stayed here Nov 9th to 15th. The guards are always on the beach or around, always safe and they were always the nicest. The pool boys were all great along with the bartenders. Front desk always called my room to check up on us, always friendly. We done the volcano/ catamaran excursion. Beverly was awesome and a great price. Even the couple people on the beach selling stuff were nice, they talked to us everyday about how our trip is going.. The beach was flat and smooth with sun all day, Perfect beach. The swimming pool was a great size and nice. They always had great local entertainment.. Close to the town so good for walking around out of the resort.. We met lots of nice people from the sister resorts that would come to the beach resort for the beach. The room we had was a pool/beach view with 2 double beds. The room is older looking but I like that for a local resort. The 2 things we didn't like is there is nothing in the mini fridge besides 2 glass water bottles you have to fill up. And the lunch menu has 5 items to pick from the whole week. No buffet only breakfast. We had a great week there, great location for the town. Local and the the most friendly people we ever met.
