This is a unique 4 star hotel that won't disappoint if you remember a few key things: -this is not a five star resort, therefore not everything is going to be perfect. But they come pretty close and the price point is an excellent value. You're not going to get Michelin star meals but the food is very good. It's also table service and made to order which means you may have to wait for your food but never overly long. -this is an island nation where everything is expensive and difficult to import. I have read complaints about the loungers being dirty but they were pressure washed every night, they are just a bit stained from lots of use....hence four star, not five star. The beach chairs and umbrellas have definitely seen better days but who cares? They work and the beach is amazing. Swapping out a chair or lounger is not as easy or as cheap as it is on the mainland. While we were there, we witnessed near-constant sweeping and glass cleaning in the lobby, railings being repainted, pressure washing of the pool deck and countless other signs of excellent upkeep. Our shower could have used a bit of love but it was clean and so was everything else. We met so many lovely people during our stay and the quiet, relaxed vibe was perfect for our holiday. We truly relaxed.

Overall good hotel. Nice little pool, good bar, fantastic service from everyone who works there. 3 minute walk from an amazing beach and within 10 minute walk of a lot of good restaurants. The meals we had were all decent. Nothing fantastic, but solid. A lot of reviewers complained about wait times, we never had an issue with this: we always got our food within 30 minutes of sitting down. Our air conditioner leaked pretty bad the first night and left a huge puddle on the floor, it took a bit the next day to get someone to take a look and fix it, like until early afternoon, but that was probably the biggest issue we had. Other than that we enjoyed our time here and thought it was good value for the money.

We loved every moment. They did their very best too take care of us and all of our needs. It was our home away from home. The food was extremely good. It could rival any five star resort. If you are looking for something quiet, it’s absolutely perfect. Location is actually perfect as well. You can walk to so many places, but you are not bothered by the noise of over activity.

Opposing Opinions Matter

The hotel is nothing special but there is far worse out there. The staff are wonderful and go out of their way to ensure you will enjoy your holiday. Eloise in the restaurant is extremely welcoming and puts the customers first and foremost. Chester on the pool bar was also amazing, even going out of his way to purchase me some Guinness as the hotel does not stock it. The pool is small but that makes for a more intimate environment to make some life long friends. The minimum wage in Saint Lucia is only around $7 ec. Please tip well as it means more to them than you can know. The island is great and all the people on the island are welcoming. I would advice the catamaran trip and the rain forest tour. Both are great and the guides are very knowledgeable

Glass of champagne on arrival and given a welcome sheet outlining hotel information with details of the 10am meeting the next day. Did attend but felt a little like a lecture and some facts different to the reality. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the same restaurant. Had already been warned that service was erratic and to avoid the late bookings as unlikely to get out before 10pm. Sometimes the drinks, toast, refills came and sometimes they didn’t. Would be so much better if there was somewhere to get a coffee/tea (with milk at the same time) or juice whilst waiting breakfast to arrive. There are no self service options and everything is ordered from the menu. The lunch and dinner menu change every two days. Great shrimp salad and fish tacos for lunch but would have liked a lighter/healthier option such as a salad or wrap. The restaurant service isn’t great - two of the first three days our booking was messed up (make sure you see it written in the book on the correct day) but service at the pool bar was always five star. Great staff and a great service. Didn’t use the rooftop bar as no shade and a slightly scary staircase. Worth picking up a drink at the lobby bar on route to dinner to avoid the long wait for your order to be taken. If you want a sun bed need to get up very early to compete with the towels out by 7am (but we will be there by 10am) brigade. Seriously on holiday and life is too short. As an alternative can pay $30 for a carabena which gives you a lie in, Mimosa, snack and fast track lunch. Beach a short walk and cool box with soft drinks and beer available on request. No entertainment but on a Monday there is a drinks reception with the managers. Had a change to talk to the catering manager who seemed genuinely interested in guests opinions. Small gym which needs to be booked in advance. Good location and easy to get to beach, bars and restaurants.
