We had an amazing holiday here – the hotel is truly luxurious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully located. The service was outstanding – everyone was friendly, smiling, and always ready to help. The food was delicious, with a great variety in all the restaurants and buffets – there’s something for everyone. A huge thank you to Milton, Cesar,Angy,Ramirez and Fabi from the entertainment team – they made every day full of fun, laughter, and great activities. They are true professionals with amazing energy and passion for what they do! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for relaxation, luxury, and unforgettable memories in Mexico. We will definitely come back! 🇲🇽🌴

Excellent resort! One of the best we’ve stayed at. Staff was super friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. We were here for dia de los muertos and the extra touches, decorations, and celebrations were incredible. Our daughter also loved spending time in the kids club where they did a dance performance and a talent show. We would definitely stay again. Thank you to the team for an amazing stay

I am genuinely shocked at how disappointing this stay has been. The word “Luxury” in the name is misleading at best. From the moment we arrived, the experience fell apart. The food is consistently bad. There is no variety, no seasoning, and nothing feels fresh. Room service is basically non-existent it’s just nachos, burgers, and fries no matter the time of day. That’s it. We tried making restaurant reservations the day we arrived, across all three Bahia properties, and were told everything was booked for the entire week. So realistically, you are forced to eat at the same bland buffet every day. We were told we were being “upgraded” from a standard room. That turned out to mean: • barely any water pressure in the shower • a leaking roof on the first night • and a dismissive response when we reported it When we mentioned the leak, the staff essentially told us we should just be grateful because this was “one of their best rooms” and we “wouldn’t have liked the standard room anyway.” It was insulting, unprofessional, and completely tone-deaf. I have stayed at many all-inclusive resorts, and this is easily the most disappointing experience I’ve ever had. I would leave early if I could. Do not let the photos or the word “Luxury” mislead you. There is nothing luxurious about this stay. I strongly recommend choosing a different resort where your time, comfort, and money will be respected.

The property is beautiful with the buildings and landscaping beautifully maintained. Everything is very clean. The staff is very friendly and eager to help. Areas for improvement are the air conditioning in the adult only building in the Akumal section. For two days our room had a temperature of 81 degrees with the AC running. The drinks are not good here. The artificial sweetener and mix leaves an aftertaste. Top shelf alcohol is difficult to find and if a bar does have it, it runs out by noon. Food quality in the buffet is hit or miss. If you have a food allergy the chefs are extremely helpful and will even make you a special dish if there is nothing on the buffet that fits into your diet. We loved having Olga and Jose in the Akumal buffet as our servers. They were so friendly and went above and beyond. Angel the Akumal buffet manager was also extremely helpful. Getting reservations in the a la cartes is extremely difficult. We were unable to get any reservations during our 9 night stay. Lastly I would like to Mention Carolina, our concierge in building 83. She also went above and beyond in helping to make our stay enjoyable, going so far as tracking us down around the infinity pool to resolve issues for us. Overall our stay has been good. This resort has a few areas to improve on. Mainly the quality of the beverages, consistency of food quality and making it easier to get reservations for the a la cartes. The resort is beautiful and the staff is top notch.

What an amazing time at the resort! A massive two thumbs up to Fabiola from the entertainment team! She is truly a lively, passionate, and incredibly kind individual. Fabiola did an outstanding job keeping the energy high and entertaining all of us, especially during the beach volleyball games. Her enthusiasm made the activities so much fun!
