Our concierge, Carolina , was very helpful. Israel, Manuel, Lorenzo our drivers ( I forgot the names of the other ones) are very nice. Daniel, the tennis instructor is great! He gave me good advices when we played pickleball. We had great dinner in different restaurants! The best of the best are Katok, Alux , Don Pablo and Fritos del Mar! Thank you for making my holiday memorable!

The environment is absolutely stunning—lush, serene, and beautifully maintained. The service was impeccable: attentive, personalized, and always delivered with a warm smile. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, or restaurant team, everyone made us feel like truly honored guests. Miguel from guest services was exceptional. He checked in on us regularly and with genuine care. His hospitality, along with the warmth of the entire staff, made our stay feel not just luxurious, but deeply welcoming. If you’re a tennis player—or hoping to become one—Daniel is an incredible tennis coach. No matter your skill level, his lessons are both fun and instructive. They were also a great way to meet and connect with other resort guests. If you’re looking for a place to relax, recharge, and be treated with five-star care, Luxury Akumal is it. We’re already dreaming of our next visit!

Bartenders Jesus, Iván, Anthony & Maria at Akumal’s main pool are top notch! Took amazing care of us and made incredible drinks. The entertainment from Cesar and Mariah and their team was absolutely amazing. Made the pool games and activities so much fun for everyone. Esteban’s aqua fitness classes were so much fun and something we looked forward to each day. The entire staff made our stay as best as it could have been. Highly recommend to visit Bahia Principe Luxury Akumal. Will definitely be returning as soon as we can!

Perfect location and service! Great selection of food for everyone and staff are super friendly! Food can get a bit cold when taking it from the buffet to the table but that is to be expected and there are plenty of options if you wish to change it and go up again! My First time in Mexico and I will definitely be back at this resort!

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bahia Principle Akumal. The staff in every area has been amazing: all are so incredibly friendly and welcoming, and do their absolute best to ensure guests are having a great experience. I speak very little Spanish, however all speak very fluent English; and have been very accommodating with my family doing our best to speak Spanish (even when they are busy, and could easily answer in English!). The food is all restaurants was amazing. The chef teams work incredibly hard, and the servers are equally as hard working to ensure your food is ordered, and that your glass is always topped up. I would highly recommend the hotel to others
