We were staying at the Mandalay Bay but for some reason they changed our reservation to the W. While we were excited at first, upon arrival I was extremely disappointed. The hotel was sharply and tired and DARK! The lobby was dark and where you wait for the elevators was really dark! The room on the website showed bright and light but the one we got was dark too. They said all rooms are suites - they are not. Our room was small, the bathroom was small and the TV was tiny too. There was no coffee in the room. Also it is very far from taxis and ride shares and pretty much everything. I had my 70 year old mom with me and we had to walk Al the way through the casino to the other side of the property. I don’t even think you can pick up a cab near the W lobby. Basically, it was not good. I ended up calling the Mandalay Bay and requesting a new room in the actual Mandalay Bay. Maybe they are upgrading rooms at the W, but I will not ever stay there. Find a different place, unless maybe you are a vampire and don’t want to see any light….

Worse hotel I’ve stayed at ever. Bad experience from check in till check out. I would suggest you to stay away from W Las Vegas if you could. 1. Bad attitude from a lady during check in. She was almost scolding two new staff (I suppose) right in front of the guests all the time (saw it at least 3 times when I checked in and passed by for help on 2025 Apr19 afternoon). Really bad attitudes to the guests and not trying to help in any way at all. She seemed like a really bad person to be frank. She’s also not letting us adding our Marriott membership to the stay. 2. No cleaning service / change of towels at all during our three days stay even when we asked them to do it! 3. Super long wait in line if you ask for room service as the line is shared with several other hotels. Sometimes you need to wait at least 20min for someone to pick up. 3. During our stay, there’s no water supply from 11am to 7pm one night and no one told us when we checked in or give any sort of notes to the room or in the lobby. When I called they say they put the notice on TV but who watches TV nowadays??? 4. Room was also very average and location is a bit far from the Strip from my point of view Avoid the hotel at all cost please as so many better options in Vegas with this price.

3 stars for the lovely room that includes its own living room area and separate guest bathroom. However. Don’t expect to make a cup of coffee without being charged. Their televisions do not include apps. Needs a bit more attention to quality customer service

Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The overall service was good and the common areas and lobby are beautiful. Be prepared, everything you touch in the room is an extra cost. Overall a pleasant stay.

Water’s been shut off for the night, housekeeping doesn’t show up when requested. Customer service is lacking, is not worth staying here. I was really excited about my trip here, and this has been a complete bust-I had such high hopes for this establishment, and it failed to impress. This is a dump. Serious? No running water in the room, so we cant bathe or flush? Ridiculous. Never again. Residence Inn is where we usually stay, however, we decided this trip we would amp it up a bit. Huge mistake-customer service and everything is way better at the Residence Inn. Plus no resort fees for things you don’t use.
