We had such a fun evening at The Strat last night! We started at the bar and played some video poker — our drinks were comped, and the cocktails were delicious. Matt, the bartender, was fantastic — super friendly and attentive. Then we headed up for dinner at Top of the World, and OMG… what an experience! The views were absolutely breathtaking, the food was exquisite, and the service was excellent. Truly one of those “wow” Vegas moments. After dinner, we stopped to get our player’s cards. The staff member helping us was kind and informative, offering great suggestions. We played a bit more video poker and tried a few slot machines. We didn’t walk out winners, but we had a wonderful time and felt entertained for hours. Overall, it was a lovely evening — great food, great drinks, and even better service. Highly recommend spending a night at The Strat!

Always enjoyed staying at the Strat when we are in vegas. I think its a great location in between the strip & Fremont Street. The Deuce bus is easy to navigate & get to to either spot. Clean rooms, Great service. There is a McDonald's in the hotel, and a great pizza place. I'd pass on the Strat Cafe tho. Guests get a discount for the Top of The World viewing deck. $10/person instead of $30. The casino is good too! Be aware of the time share people that usually get ya across from the Starbucks. Great mountain views from rooms. North tower was nice. Lovely pool as well on the 8th floor.

I had such an amazing experience here! The room was super spacious, spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfy. The view from my room was just perfect — honestly one of the best I’ve had in Vegas. Prices are great, especially during weekdays, and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. The restaurants on site serve delicious, high-quality food, and I loved that they give you a bunch of discounts when you book your room — you can use them for dining or visiting the tower, which is such a nice touch.

I booked this hotel through JamPack for the WWWY fest since it was advertised to be within a 5-10 minute walk. It definitely was not. In addition it was advertised as this nice room. Instead, what I got was what is comparable to a hotel 6. Lighting that doesn't work, cracked walls, amongst other things. But me being me, it wasn't a big deal till they decided to charge a smoking fee. Which I don't even smoke due to having asthma (and I also happened to be severely congested from allergies at the time). When I went to complain, there were at least 3 other people with the same issues as me at the desk complaining about the smoking fee, which they have failed to remove (and I'm currently disputing with my bank). Which is crazy because they allow smoking on the casino floor. Also, they ended up charging me another exuberant fee on top of the smoking fee that doesn't make sense (also being disputed) since I paid everything through JamPack. It doesn't cost over $900 for resort fees for 3 night stay. Getting hold of anyone by phone is ridiculously difficult. They are rude and condescending. I don't usually make complaints like this but man, I want to tell people to use any other hotel than the Strat (I should have stayed at the Best Western like last year). Just, stay. AWAY.

This was my first time staying at The Strat, and it might definitely be my last as well. Most places I stay, overall, have enough of an appeal, or a pleasant enough experience enticing me to come back. Even if it wasn’t my best stay. The Strat being only 29 years old in 2025 is again much older in appearance than it should. On the surface it appears clean and nice, but the longer you stay the more you see the resort has only been given a facelift. The entire resort has a pungent odor of sewage, dirt, and unclean carpet. The casino is spacious, but the slots aren’t loose at all. I assume that has more to do with the lack of people visiting Vegas lately. Not only was The Strat a ghost town, but the entire strip felt that way. The rooms leave a lot to be desired. The small windows provide no views no matter what part of the hotel you’re staying in. The beds are very uncomfortable. If you need seating in your room, don’t count on it here. The bathroom was the worst. The shower smelt of sewage, there was one small garbage can in the entire room, and the shower is an open concept which I thought was awful. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the kindness of the staff isn’t enough to make me want to stay here again. This place needs so much work. The reason I give this 3 stars is for the convenience of having a McDonald’s on site, great (though not many) food options, and polite attentive staff. Parking is ridiculous! $20 a day to park is outrageous no matter where you are.
