Not a bad hotel or location for the price. The bartender, Jeri (sp?) was extremely helpful and kind, the highlight of our stay here! We were able to park right outside our room, which was nice.
The room was spacious, but as the other reviews have stated, not the cleanest. There's a mini fridge in an otherwise empty "kitchenette" that was literally just counterspace. A microwave, coffee maker, and extra chair would have been nice additions. The shower worked fine, towels were generic hotel towels.
My main gripe was the bed. The sheets were scratchy, but worst of all, there was what can only be described as c*m stains on the headboard. I was able to clean the headboard with some wipes, which is the only reason we didn't bother calling for housekeeping.
Like I said, it wasn't bad for the price 🤷🏼

This hotel in Las Vegas... the service has always been great. Front desk is watching and receptive to concerns and any issues. The property has potential but and is need of updates. The facility is kept tidy but it isn't what I'd call clean. The walls and sidewalks could use a good powerwash. The rooms could all use a deep clean. Seals around the doors could be repaired, I can always see light around parts of my room door. The entry to the hotel is dark and a bit depressing but the center of the hotel in the pool area is anything but. Plenty of parking.

Courteous and Friendly,Family owned /operated for 50 years. Wow! What a gem, everything you need a mini fridge, good food, drinks, slots, pool & jacuzzi.
Tv, lamps with charging ports and comfy beds.
It’s Vegas what more do you need. I won’t pay large hotel prices again the hospitality is unparalleled.
Thanks Mardi Gras Hotel& Casino

Maid never showed up during our entire 4 day stay. Had to walk to the lobby to retrieve replacement towels from the front desk. No housekeeping service, but they still charge a "resort fee?" Also, "resort fee" MUST be paid via credit card. No cash accepted. That aside, the bed was comfy, the refrigerator was ice cold, and the air conditioning worked well. Despite having a small kitchenette/wet bar, there was no microwave, no stove or hotplate, no coffee maker, and no utensils, making it pretty useless for those who may want to cook a meal in an over priced neighborhood. Also no in room safe to protect your riches won in the casino.

Got to our room, countertops were dirty from the last guest. Floor was soft in a particular part of the room felt like I could fall through. Chair was broken, tub was dirty towel hanging up was stiff like someone used it and hung it back up. Toilet wasn’t clean dust on top of toilet lid. Walls were filthy. Homeless people surrounding the premises. The water was cold. I called the front desk about the room situation and he said all rooms were full, there was no maintenance personnel available, and no one to properly clean the room. I’ve been to cheaper hotels with no complaints. For $139 this was very disappointing. This is my first and last time staying here
