For the price, Mardi Gras Hotel is good. Not the best place to stay. They need to remodel or at least deep clean the rooms!!! But customer service here is great!!! Everyone is nice and very helpful.
Not a lot of amenities. If you're looking for a nice resort type of hotel, this is not it. But, a decent place to stay when you have something going on here in Vegas.

Coming to Vegas for the first time we were unsure of what to expect but we were very happy with our stay at the Mardi Gras and found that we actually spent a good amount of our time in Vegas there as it seemed to be just our speed, we don’t go out much so we were perfectly fine hanging out downstairs at the bar we enjoyed all the service we received while hanging out down there. We really enjoyed Jerrie and Cory in the evenings and Maria in the morning for the buffet! We thought everything was reasonably priced and we enjoyed our meals and portions. They have two daily happy hour times which we were surprised by and enjoyed!
We liked our room, for a tall man he found the toilet to be small, I did have a little trouble with the hot water at the sink in the bathroom but I rolled with it. We had trouble sleeping due to being in a room located right next to the street since we’re not used to the sounds of the Vegas nights but we rolled with it, we liked how the rooms were set up and loved our view of f the sphere and how close we were to the monorail for a quick trip the strip. We had a late night flight but our check out was at 11 and the hotel kindly held our bags for us in a back room so we could spend the day in Vegas and know our luggage was safe. And not having to lug it around with us. We would stay at the mardi gra again. If you’re going to Vegas for a convention at the convention center this is an ideal place to stay as it’s about a 5 minute walk to the convention and to the monorail station.

We got there showers weren’t working, the next day they didn’t have NO HOT WATER in til 7 am and then there heater was so loud we really didn’t have enough sleep and then the 2 nights we stayed there they didn’t do any housekeeping so I called and told them and they said they were busy but that someone would go over in 15 minutes THEY NEVER DID SHOW UP!!!! WORSE PLACE TO STAY FOR A WEEKEND AS A BIRTHDAY GIFT.. NEVER AGAIN.

Great team, a nice hotel offering great value and large rooms. Quiet, off strip location, hotel also quiet and comfortable. Bar food is good value and tasty too. Its a little old fashioned but I like that. Happy with my stay, will use again.

Had a nice stay. The rooms are definitely dated, but it does give it a cute charm. Some cleaning has been over looked but in places you don't really look (under the bed, behind the nightstand) Service was great, everyone was friendly and helpful. It's a bit of a trip to get to the strip but with the monorail 3 blocks down definitely helps. The pictures of the casino are a bit deceiveing, looks decent but in reality there are maybe 30 slot machines. I pool area looked nice but didn't use it. Didn't like the fact that there are no safes in the room.
The $11.95 continental breakfast buffet wasn't worth it.
The place is priced right though; so if you're looking for a budget friendly safe option to just sleep at I would recommend it.
