I stayed at the Excalibur Hotel in Las Vegas for a 5-day vacation during Christmas, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel is great, the room was comfortable, and everything met my expectations for a relaxing holiday. One of the biggest advantages is the location—it’s close to major attractions, world-class shows, excellent dining options, and of course, the casinos. Getting around the Strip was easy and convenient. Overall, Excalibur offers excellent value for money. It’s budget-friendly without compromising on comfort or location, and it has become my go-to hotel whenever I visit Las Vegas. Highly recommended!

The renovated resort tower rooms are on the right track. Super quiet, great value, and comfy. Food court is decent. Just need a working air conditioner (for summer), updated TV app and an in-room microwave (Vegas hotels tend to have a tendency not to have one in the room). Also guests should get free parking (appreciate one parking pass working across all MGM locations).

I will never stay here again, I paid an extra 20 dollars for guaranteed 11 am check in as it says on the website. at 11:30 I went to the front desk to see why I haven't gotten my room yet and they said I paid to check in early but my room won't be available until as late as 1 pm. I've been traveling since 3 am EST, there are very few places to sit in the lobby that isn't at a playing table or slot machine and I got yelled at for sitting and not playing since the few other chairs in the "lounge area" were all taken. Walked around with heavy luggage for over 3 hours. They also charged me TWICE for late check out and charged me way more than what my room was supposed to be, my room was supposed to be $119 for one night including everything, they charged me over $200 and had to be on a very long phone call to get it changed and the extra charges dropped. Constantly hounded by people trying to sell a timeshare in the lobby, they have them stationed both at all entrances and right next to the elevator to the hotel rooms so you'll be harassed every time you try to go from your room to anywhere else. They have several "convenience stores" throughout the hotel but nothing has a price on it you have to check out to find out what you'll be paying and it was x100 worse than what I imagined. Bag of cheetos, $14. Water bottle, EIGHT DOLLARS!!! Extremely sketchy practice. There's no meals in the hotel under $20 except for breakfast, $15 egg and cheese, no meat, on an english muffin. Finally, I paid for a "newly renovated, aromatherapy room" Apparently they think slapping a little wallpaper on just the bedroom and hanging a few pictures up and putting in a new dresser is renovating it. The fridge is old and small and doesn't fit or cool anything. The TV doesn't work at all, the picture looks like it's a TV from the 90s with bad reception, didn't have a single channel with a clean picture. And the bathroom is extremely dated with wallpaper peeling. I have no clue what the aromatherapy I paid for was, because nothing smelled remotely pleasant in that bathroom. The body wash smelled like moldy lettuce and I have no clue what the "stay well" thing attached to the spout was because the water was harsh, smelled bad, and dried out my skin. They don't even have conditioner, let alone the many other amenities most other hotels offer in their rooms, like a toothbrush or razor. I don't smell the aromatherapy they apparently have going in the room, and the air purifier has had its need filter change light on the whole time so I don't think it was even working. Housekeeping came into my room at 2pm, despite having 3pm checkout. I had just got done changing otherwise they absolutely would've walked in on me naked. After one night I switched to a much nicer holiday inn. Don't come here unless you want to get scammed.

Everything was great! I did pay a $20 upgrade to check in early (thru the MGM app) and my room was ready by 10am. I had arrived at 9am and checked my bag in and the guys there were amazing. My room was clean and had a phenomenal view. I ate at the buffet and that was pricey ($50+) aged you can get more selection at the Golden Corral. I did also attend the Tournament of Knights show and THAT was amazing. I had so much fun. I can’t even understand why more people don’t stay at the Excalibur! It’s so affordable and everyone is helpful and nice!

Excalibur Hotel & Casino was a great place to stay during our time in Las Vegas. We stayed for a couple of nights and found the rooms to be older in décor, but still excellent to stay in. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were quiet, which made for a great night’s sleep. Onsite parking was easy and convenient and being located at the end of the Strip was a bonus—it was nice to be able to step away from the immediate hustle and bustle when needed. The stay was affordable, comfortable and ticked all the boxes for us. We would definitely stay here again. After all, who wouldn’t want to stay in a castle?
