Tip: Don’t book directly on their website—third-party sites like Booking.com usually offer better deals and extra perks. The hotel is solid for the price. Rooms are spacious and clean, though they’re missing some basics like a microwave or coffee maker. If you pay for the upgraded room, you’ll get a small mini-fridge. The location is good, with several nice spots within walking distance. I didn’t gamble, but the casino looked fine. It’s not very big, but it has all the machines and tables you’d expect. The downside is that it constantly smells like smoke—its ventilation doesn’t seem to work well. On the positive side, there was a $3 margarita promo during my stay, which was a great deal.

I had an excellent stay at the Excalibur Hotel. We were given a room on the 28th floor with a beautiful view of the Strip. It was the best hotel room I’ve ever seen, a suite for only $150 the night, including resort fees and taxes. The room was clean, well-appointed, well soundproofed, and the bedding was comfortable. I have absolutely no complaints; I was extremely satisfied with my stay.

A formula 1 event was happening the week we booked so being at this end of the strip was a good call. The room's bathroom needed some maintenance attention but otherwise solid. Great service, easy parking, anything northbound up the strip from Tropicana is accessible from Excalibur. The closures for F1 didn't really affect our area too much. The usual tram access to and from Luxor/Mandalay Bay is always a plus. Good options for food/drink including Tap, Dick's last resort, upstairs food court etc. Overall very pleased.

Everything was great! I did pay a $20 upgrade to check in early (thru the MGM app) and my room was ready by 10am. I had arrived at 9am and checked my bag in and the guys there were amazing. My room was clean and had a phenomenal view. I ate at the buffet and that was pricey ($50+) aged you can get more selection at the Golden Corral. I did also attend the Tournament of Knights show and THAT was amazing. I had so much fun. I can’t even understand why more people don’t stay at the Excalibur! It’s so affordable and everyone is helpful and nice!

HIDDEN FEES 😠‼️ Update : Nov. 5 2025 after checking out 10/12/2025 Excalibur Hotel and Casino added $103.49 additional fees to my credit card, I caught this on my bill and immediately called and asked why, because my hotel was all prepaid prior to my arrival back in May 2025. I was told it's an additional TAX / RESORT FEE 😠 Definitely a sign of changing times not used to this new electronic AI era we're living in, being 60+ I've always been used to standing in a line to checking in at a counter then receive my card or keys. On this journey, we had to check-in at one of many little kiosks then go to the other side of the room to a tablet to get and activate our room card/key, which got even more complicated. Once we got in the correct elevator I pushed our floor number and it wouldn't go anywhere ( yes it's a safty feature geared to protect the guests) we did discover we had to use our key card to activate the elevator wow 🤣 Yes, it's been 10 years since I last went to Las Vegas, but I still domestically travel a lot and always have a microwave, coffee maker and sometimes a refrigerator in my room. I was disappointed that there wasn't even a coffee maker in our room ☕️ 🙁. Furthermore, many casinos offered a coffee /soda buffet complementary. I discovered not only has Excalibur not got one, but apparently many hotels have removed them 😲 This is very sad added expense, because with that during our weekend stay here at Excalibur Hotel and Casino sadly we saw only one cocktail server over by the game tables, not anywhere near slot machines. You're forced to go to their bars and spend $18 to $32 for 1 Cocktail or $10 for a soda grant you, on upward note they do offer a decent $3 Margarita drink. HALLS & ROOMS: The hotel is showing signs of age. It could do some updating throughout their halls and walkways and corridors, they are signs of better times gone by. Our room was very clean. The bathroom is slightly updated. We we're supposed to have a room with two king beds in the royal towers, but I'm sorry those were 2 Queen beds, not king beds that we paid for. We were on the south side towers of the hotel and yes, it is loud at night. Despite having blackout curtains, it was still quite noisy however the beds were very comfortable 🛌 😊 Overall our stay was quite pleasant.
