The rooms in the Royal Tower are spacious and fairly clean, however, they have a very unpleasant view of a building. The Tournament of Kings is quite an entertaining show, with good actors, and they serve a very good and filling meal. As for room service, they knocked on my door and I told them I didn't want it. I went back to sleep, and the housekeeper came in without knocking, which I found extremely disrespectful. As for the buffet, the cashier was quite arrogant. She didn't even say "good morning" to me; she just asked for my credit card and a tip. The food is varied, but it's not worth the buffet price. I would suggest eating outside the hotel. And at checkout, they charged me for three nights of overnight parking, even though I had previously paid. When I complained at reception, both the woman at the front desk and the cashier were unwilling to help me and told me that my payment receipts from their parking machines weren't valid. After providing receipts and using my bank app, they agreed to remove the charges. It was a rather unpleasant experience. Be careful what you book and check the receipts for what you are charged. Overall, my stay was good, except for the really bad employees they have there.

This is a great hotel on a budget. It was clean and did it's job. The beds were comfy and it there was a fridge in the room. They had a food court as well as some nice restaurants. The only complaint I have is there isn't very many plug ins to charge phones and some of the ones they had were loose and didn't stay plugged in very well. We got the room with strip view and it didn't disappoint. I would stay here again if I ever came back to Vegas.

Blown away by how out of touch the upper executive management must be! These places should be all about an experience. Excalibur isn't alone, they all miss the mark with customer experience. First and foremost, the staff all seem somber, overworked and like most places....just at a job. But put yourself into the guests shoes. They want happy, jovial, excited staff playing a role- almost as an actor! Maybe pretending they aren't at work, but play a role in the overall experience. No wonder numbers are so down, the prices are outrageous. They would hardly even give water away freely. I paid $10 for a bottle of water that cost three across the street at a gas station. Talk about a slap in the face for coming to be a guest somewhere. And from my experience, 20 bucks on a slot machine was gone in about 10 seconds, but no substantial payouts beyond a dollar or two. If management would like some more guidance and suggestions on how to improve your bottom line by improving an experience to stay at what could be a very magical, welcoming, fun place, I'm easy to find.

Stayed Here on a Budget Trip with Friends – Honest Review Just got back from a trip with a few friends — we were looking for a fun, affordable getaway, nothing fancy, just clean and comfortable. This place had potential, but definitely needs some attention. Let’s break it down: The Good: The on-site buffet was surprisingly decent — good variety and quick service, which made meals easy. Also liked that there were a few shops right inside the property, so we didn’t have to go far for essentials or quick snacks. The Bad: The rooms could really use a refresh. Ours had a strong musty smell, and the AC unit was covered in dust, like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The towels were stained, and instead of real glassware, we got flimsy plastic cups — not what you’d expect even at a budget spot. The Ugly: Cleanliness is the biggest issue. It genuinely felt like no one had deep-cleaned the place in a while. From the state of the AC to the linens, the lack of attention to basic hygiene was disappointing. Overall, if you’re traveling with friends and just need a place to crash without expecting much, it might work — but don’t come here looking for comfort or quality. Hopefully, the management steps up their maintenance game because the location and setup have potential.

Great stay at the Excalibur! The location is perfect, right on the Strip, making it easy to get around and explore. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The check-in and check-out was so easy, quick, electronical. Super! The hotel has plenty of dining options and entertainment, so there’s always something to do without even leaving the property. The pool area, the casino the entire place was really convenient. No “kids” under 21 allowed in the gaming area. Very good value for money in Las Vegas—I would definitely stay here again. Loved it!
