This was our second time at this hotel because we loved it the first time, and this time it did not disappoint. For starters, the location is perfect. It’s close to so many casinos, The Sphere, restaurants, shopping and so much more. The employees are so nice and helpful, and full of suggestions on where to go or where to eat. We were checked in by Marilou and she was amazing! She was nice enough to take her time and help us to upgrade to the perfect room to celebrate our anniversary for a minimal amount of money. Victor was equally pleasant and helpful helping us to get a late check out. And do yourself a favor and stop at The Catalyst Bar where Rich Cannon was slinging drinks while keeping a fantastic happy attitude. We asked where to go for dinner and he sent us to a great affordable restaurant right down the hall and it was amazing! We ate there twice during our stay. The room was super roomy and the beds and furnishings were amazingly comfortable. We even got a view of the sphere from our room and every morning I would set my alarm to watch the sunrise as The Sphere is changed to a burning sun image at the same time. Such a magical stay with a very dedicated, experienced staff to make our stay even more memorable.

From check-in, my experience was not great. The woman who checked us in was very rude. She was talking to us with an attitude from the moment she started dealing with us. It was very unprofessional. She was upset everytime we asked her a question and when it was time to confirm the price, she said for us to just skip everything but we took our time instead and read through the hotel fine print. Even this made her upset like we're not suppose to check where our money is going. Overall, I don't recommend this hotel if you have kids. From the moment you enter the lobby until the moment you get to your room, the smell of smoke is unbearable. So unless you enjoy second hand smoking, please spare yourself. Also I suggest that from the moment you get to Las Vegas that you buy water at Walgreens. Don't waste your money here. Water (a basic human need btw) cost minimum $9. Additionally, the bed and pillows are so freaking uncomfortable. I haven't slept this bad while on vacation in a long time. I kept waking up in the middle of the night. It's like they dont even want you to sleep. The good thing about the hotel is that it is connected to many different areas and places so its easy to move about inside especially if the weather outside isnt the best. Also its in front of Caesar Palace The Forum Shoppes which is a great mall. But honestly this hotel won't be seeing me again.

Don’t let the bright lights fool you; staying here was a massive disappointment from start to finish. For a place that brands itself as a modern Vegas "resort," the experience felt more like a budget motel with a premium price tag—completely lacking in the basic comforts you’d expect at these rates. The Resort Fee Scam: They charge a mandatory "resort fee" daily, yet there is no resort to be found. The pool was completely closed, but they refused to offer any discount or waiver on the fee. You are essentially paying for amenities that don't exist. Greedy Check-in Policies: The nickel-and-diming starts the moment you walk through the door. I arrived slightly ahead of schedule and they charged me a $15 early check-in fee just for a measly 30 minutes. It’s a blatant cash grab. The "City View" Scam: I paid extra for a city view, but what I got was a view of ductwork and the side of another building. If you’re expecting the Vegas skyline, don't hold your breath. It’s a total bait-and-switch. Parking & Coffee: On top of everything else, be prepared to shell out $20 a day just to park. There is zero coffee in the room, and if you want a basic cup, you have to wait in line to pay $6 for plain black coffee. No Basic Amenities: There is no microwave in the room, making it impossible to even heat up a snack. "Remodeled" is a Lie: They claim this place has been renovated, but you can’t hide the bones of an old, crumbling building. Everything feels dated, thin, and worn down. A fresh coat of paint doesn't fix the fact that the hotel is ancient and lacks modern comforts. The Only Saving Grace: The housekeeping staff were actually wonderful. They were hardworking, friendly, and did a great job keeping the room clean despite the poor state of the building itself. It’s a shame such a great crew has to work for such a disappointing hotel. Save your money and stay literally anywhere else on the Strip. This place is a relic that is only interested in draining your wallet while providing the bare minimum.

If you’re looking for a spot that puts you right in the heart of the action, The LINQ certainly delivers on location. However, navigating the property itself can feel like a bit of an endurance test. Here is a breakdown of what to expect based on my recent stay. The Layout: A Historic Maze The first thing you’ll notice is that the hotel is a total maze. I later found out this is because it’s the repurposed old Imperial Palace, and the "bones" of that older layout make for some very confusing navigation. • Signage Overload: Instead of helping, the hotel has installed so many unnecessary signs that they actually cause more confusion than they solve. • Parking Woes: Getting in and out of the garage is a mess. If you're driving, be prepared for some frustration before you even reach the front desk. The WiFi Trap One of the biggest "gotchas" here involves the internet. Be aware that there is a strict limit on how many devices you can connect to the WiFi based on your room occupancy. • If you have a laptop, a tablet, and a phone, you'll likely hit that limit quickly. • Hidden Costs: They charge an additional fee for every single device over the limit, which feels a bit dated for a modern Vegas resort. The Silver Lining: Service and Location. Despite the architectural headaches, the human element at The LINQ is excellent. • The Staff: Every employee I encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful • Prime Real Estate: You truly cannot beat the central location. You are steps away from the High Roller, the Promenade, and 30 minute walk to Coca Cola and m&m Final Verdict: Stay here for the price and the perfect location, but be patient with the maze, and maybe a hotspot if you have multiple devices.

My fiance and I asked to switch from a double bed to a king, and the front desk staff changed our room with no problem. We stayed on the 18th floor, and our room was actually really nice! Of course, you’re not checking into the Four Seasons Hotel here, so don’t expect luxury. But it’s clean, comfortable, and has everything you need — shower, TV, mini fridge — perfect if you’re in Vegas to actually enjoy Vegas (because who spends all day in their hotel room anyway?). The elevator security made us feel safe, which was great. The hallways did smell a little strong — like someone went overboard with the perfume — but it’s not a big deal. Definitely eat at Hash House A Go Go downstairs — the food is amazing! We also saw Mat Franco, and his show was incredible. The casino staff, tables, and slots were all great too. Even Dunkin’ Donuts was on point. The pool area was fantastic — no complaints there. There’s still more in the hotel we didn’t get to check out, so I guess that just means we’ll have to come back!
