We stayed at Sunwing Bangtao Beach with our family in June 2025, and our experience was overwhelmingly positive. First, the hotel has the best location on the beach, with direct access to the sea and what we consider the finest part of Bangtao Beach – soft sand, a gentle slope, and easy entry into the water. The restaurant is practically on the beach itself, and having breakfast to the sound of the waves was an unforgettable experience. Second, the hotel has a compact but very green and well-maintained territory (neighboring hotels have much less greenery). Third, and most importantly, the hotel staff is incredibly attentive and helpful. This applies everywhere—at the reception, in the buildings, by the pool, and at the restaurant. Everyone was always happy to assist with any request. I especially want to highlight Miss Rachel Ivan Sanchez, who provided invaluable assistance even before our arrival. She advised us on room choices and dining options, helped with necessary reservations, ordered a cake, and booked a table at the restaurant so we could celebrate our daughter's birthday on our check-in day. Rachel is a rockstar in the hotel industry! We would love to return to this hotel someday.

My favorite of the two resorts I stayed at in Phuket. Things I particularly loved: -The view I had of the ocean from my room. -The breakfast was delicious with so many different options and the restaurant is right on the beach, I got to watch the dogs every morning. -My room was beautiful with a very comfy bed. -The shower had great water pressure and got very hot. -Across the street is a Tops and a pharmacy, which were very helpful during my stay. -There was a microwave in my room, perfect for heating leftovers. -The local night market is a 10-15 minute walk. -The staff were so so friendly and helpful. -Many different pools for different activities. The water slide is also great! It’s very fast. -Laundry on premises. -You see many different animals at the resort like lizards, birds, and snails. I felt close to nature. -Massages on premises, one hour Thai massage for 300 baht. If I come to Bang Tao Beach again I will absolutely stay at the Sunwing again.

Fab hotel on a beautiful beach in Phuket Lots for my son to do, football, slides, beautiful pools Hotel very modern and clean Room was large and had everything we needed Virgin mojitos at the pool bar were amazing All staff were very helpful No negatives In a quieter area and had to walk to find restaurants and beach clubs but not a problem. Some good restaurants in the area including uncle marwin, sisters cafe, sugar cane. Will definitely return one day. Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay

My partner and I loved our stay here! The location, rooms and facilities are great. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. There’s a lot of families staying here and a lot of activities to do for children, but it’s still a very peaceful hotel. Also the sunsets are beautiful! Will definitely return!
