This is one of the best loved family hotels in Phuket, filled with kid-friendly thrills and spills and fabulous facilities in the central part of Kata. Take your pick of 3 swimming pools, with a fun waterslide for little ones and a quieter pool with a swim-up bar for adults. This resort is centrally located, 5 minutes’ walk from a small supermarket, and approximately 10 minutes from Kata night market. There are also numerous bars, cafes and restaurants within 5 to 10 minutes of leaving the resort.

From the very first step at the reception, we felt incredibly welcomed with amazing service – the best we have ever experienced. We stayed at the resort for 17 nights, and they were the best days and nights of our lives. 10 stars for everything. From the front desk staff to room service, daily housekeeping – everything was done with a smile and gratitude. The people in the kids’ club were absolutely wonderful, and our children loved them every single day. Words cannot describe how grateful we are to have stayed at Centara Kata. The breakfasts were excellent, with something new and different every day – which was perfect for such a long stay. Everyone here gave 200%. I celebrated my birthday here and received two amazing cakes with birthday wishes – it was unforgettable. I truly wish that everyone could experience such a wonderful stay like we had. I highly recommend this place – everyone who stays here will meet beautiful, smiling people. I will truly miss the people we met here – whether at the reception, in the restaurant, during housekeeping, or the drivers who took us to the beach with a smile, as well as those who took care of us by the pool or at the bar. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure our family had a comfortable and memorable experience. A special thanks to the Manager Nan, who was truly fabulous! friendly, and genuine care for guests made our stay extra special. She and the whole team made sure everything was perfect. An absolutely fantastic place that exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the warmth and professionalism of the staff—every single one of them was genuinely friendly, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. The food was consistently excellent, offering delicious options at very reasonable prices. The pool areas were a hit with both kids and adults, perfectly designed for relaxation and fun. A special shout-out to the incredible bar team—Ohm, Coach, Wan, and their amazing manager Joy—who made every visit to the bar a real pleasure. Their energy and friendliness added so much to our stay. Reception staff were equally impressive—super professional while still being warm and approachable. A big thank you to Nanny, who went above and beyond to help us switch rooms so we could be closer to the action near the bar—truly appreciated! Evenings were a delight, with live music and a buzzing atmosphere paired with great food. My 12-year-old had an absolute blast, and we’re already planning our return. This place has it all—comfort, charm, and a team that truly makes you feel at home. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere was very relaxed, peaceful and I slept like a baby during my stay. I like the rustic decor which is charming in its own right. Location is a short walk to the shops around and in town. The road to the beach is actually a nice loop next to the hotel and it covers Kata Beach end to end. Staff was wonderful, polite and efficient.

Had a wonderful stay here! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, they really can’t do enough for you. The pool area is lovely and relaxing, with a great pool bar for drinks and food. Location is great, close to all the main attractions. The suite we had was spotless. There were 2 massive double bedrooms, both with spacious en-suite and a lovely kitchen / diner and lounge area. There was a huge balcony running across the whole suite, it was fantastic. The restaurant offered a great selection of tasty food. It’s a shame we couldn’t stay longer, it was like having your own apartment. Highly recommend!
