Rooms are an excellent size, we had a ground floor suite with 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Separate air conditioning for both rooms as well as the living space so 3 in total. Really welcome after coming back from an excursion. The people are really friendly and want to help out, plenty of staff around and they come round periodically offering drinks. Mark, Mint and Wut were the staff we saw most of and they were lovely. We had a couple of problems with the suite (light not working) and this was sorted within a couple of hours. There are 2 pools, the main one is aimed at younger kids with another one a little calmer with elephant fountains in each corner. More than enough sunbeds round the edge. Locationwise, there are plenty of restaurants and street food places close by. There are also massage shops that will do your laundry for around 60 per kilo, one shirt wasn't washed properly and was shrunk out of the 9kg we dropped off. The beach is a bit of a walk as Club Med is between Centara and Kata meaning there is no direct way through. The walk is fine and the hotel shuttle bus runs every hour (free), it needs to be booked but very easy to do. Breakfast is excellent with plenty to choose from. Curries, fry up, egg station, porridge, fruit, salads etc. They have themed dinners sometimes as well, we had the bbq buffet which was lovely with lots of meat being turned over the coals. There are some reviews mentioning the place needs a luck of paint. It does but that is as far as it goes, it's well maintained and feels clean with enough space to spread out. Everything works and any lack of decoration doesn't detract from the beauty of the island.

This resort was nice and set back from the road so it was quiet. We had a garden view room where we could walk out to the pool which was handy. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Front desk staff were good and maintenance staff as well. Our only issue was with the housekeeping staff who were inconsistent in their cleaning and times. One day they didn't show up at all and we had to phone the front desk at 5:00 as we needed more water, which they supply, and the garbage needed to be emptied. Also towels were sometimes stained which didn't mean they weren't clean but didn't look very nice for an upscale resort. Most of the pool towels that we got were stained as well. This resort is not on the beach and it is about a 20 minute walk to get to. This didn't matter to us but it might to some people.

Had an amazing 2 week stay here. I was slightly concerned beforehand about reviews mentioning that it's dated. We didn't find this. It was very good value for miney. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful and very accommodating with getting us in a room early when our daughter was feeling unwell on arrival We mainly spent time at the Wave pool. The food was delicious. Wut , Aoy, Mark and June were very good at the poolside bar.

Fantastic family hotel. Huge green and leafy complex that never seems crowded or busy. Perfect location for staying in or venturing out. Staff are so nice. From the front desk to the kitchen staff, everyone is happy and helpful. Food is very good and very reasonable. 3 great pools, plenty of places to relax. Very easy for kids to entertain themselves. Enjoy what Centara has to offer, everything is here for you.

The resort is overpriced, but overall a good stay. Kata Beach is only a 10-minute walk from the hotel (they also offer a free shuttle). There are plenty of restaurants and markets around. Good variety for buffet breakfast. All staff very lovely.
