Loved our stay! Many people stood out for their hospitality, kindness and friendliness. The lounge tea time and happy hour were wonderful and the personnel there were the best! It was worth booking a room that had access to that. The views of the city are amazing, breakfast buffet is wonderful. The location seemed complicated at times because there is no access to the main road. Concierge was very helpful and effective when I asked for help for tickets to the museum of the future and for receiving online orders I made. There is a free shuttle to Dubai Mall and to the beach. Overall wonderful stay and would like to return.

Awful service. Would not recommend staying here if you expect 5 star service. You are allowed to sit in the hotel lobby, but you are not allowed to eat your own food as they have monopolized the lobby for their own “high tea” which is 195 Durham per person for finger foods (tiny pastries and miniature sandwiches) or 17 Durham per finger food/pastry. I initially wanted to eat at their restaurant near the lobby, but they said they were unable to make anything quick enough before our tour (which is reasonable and fine). So we went to a nearby cafe and quickly grabbed food to eat back in the lobby as the tour bus was going to pick us up from the hotel. Upon arrival we were told we could not eat in the lobby and when I asked where there is another lounge or area we could eat in the hotel, we were told we had to go eat in our rooms even if it was dirty and the housekeeper was attempting to clean. In a hotel with 42 floors, they had no other sitting area for guests and the hotel lobby is not a welcoming environment either. Hotel seemed quite promising and has a lot of potential, but I was not satisfied with the service I received. Will update my review if there are any changes in quality of service (positive or negative).

The buffet seafood restaurant was exceptional! The food was fresh, flavorful, and offered a wide variety to satisfy every palate. The service was equally impressive. Our server Mohit and Chef Wunna stood out with their attentiveness and warm hospitality. They made our experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for seafood lovers! We will come back again ❤️

I had the pleasure of staying at Shangri-La Dubai, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff's warm hospitality made me feel welcome and valued. The rooms were beautifully designed, spacious, and equipped with all the modern amenities you could need. The view of the Dubai skyline, especially the Burj Khalifa, was absolutely breathtaking. The dining options were exceptional, offering a variety of cuisines that catered to all tastes. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, with a wide selection of fresh and delicious items. The facilities, including the pool and spa, were top-notch and provided the perfect space to relax and unwind. The location is also very convenient, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, Shangri-La Dubai is a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and outstanding service. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dubai. It’s a true five-star experience!

A return trip for the 5th time and it did not disappoint- I travel a lot and have visited 2 other hotels in the same chain as a result of the amazing reception and hospitality the staff give daily. The Horizon club is exceptionally worth looking at to see if it fits with your plans. Keith and the team are wonderful and go out of their way to help you celebrate in the best way possible.
