We stayed in mid October and the hotel is undergoing a renovation. Regardless we had a really lovely stay. Su at reception was particularly kind, organising a fruit and cheese platter for our anniversary, and the staff in the dining area are exceptionally friendly, especially Phyu. The service was truly impeccable. There was some banging early mornings from the painters outside on ropes and platforms so we were offered a change of room away from painters, which helped. The pool is amazing and very clean. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

The hotel is currently undergoing major refurbishment so it is important to know that you won’t get a peaceful rest in many of the rooms in the afternoon. If you are out and about all day it is only a minor inconvenience and makes the overall impression of the hotel less grand and welcoming as the real lobby is out of action. That said the staff and service was of a very high standard and the food good in all dining areas. A special mention to Abdul Karim on the breakfast omelette station - a beaming smile, makes you feel good and cooks a great omelette. I look forward to returning when the building work is completed.

Review Title: Be Aware – Hotel Under Full Renovation (October 2025) We recently stayed at this hotel with a group of 18 people, booking 10 rooms and a meeting room for 3 nights. Our schedule had us moving between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and due to logistical constraints, changing hotels was not feasible once we arrived. We were informed of prior to our arrival that the hotel entrance is currently undergoing a renovation. However this is not light maintenance — it's major, heavy construction that significantly affects the overall guest experience. Noise, dust, and a general sense of being in a construction zone overshadowed what should have been a productive and enjoyable business trip. Upon check-out, I raised these concerns directly with the Assistant Deputy Manager and followed up via email below. The initial response was an offer of an upgrade on a future stay. We made it clear that without a satisfactory resolution, there would be no future stay. The next offer — compensation for one night in one room — was far from proportionate. A final offer of a 2-night stay voucher was proposed, which again did not reflect the scale of our disappointment. For context, that equates to roughly a 5% discount on our total booking. To be clear: I am not writing this review to seek further compensation. We have moved on from that. The purpose of this review is to warn other travelers that the hotel is currently in a major renovation phase, and unless you're comfortable staying in what feels like a construction site, you may want to consider other options until work is completed. We have seen the photos and sincerely hope the renovations lead to a much-improved property, but in the meantime, transparency with guests is essential — and unfortunately, we did not receive that nor a satisfactory solution. We had a conversation upon check out, but did not see a reaction to me, so I’m straight away reaching out regarding my recent stay at Oaks Batuta gate from 1 Oct to 5 Oct, which was part of our annual trip surrounding the opening of the NBA season. We’ve been first time visiting your hotel as part of this tradition, and I’m writing to share the significant impact the renovations had on our experience this time. While we were aware of the ongoing renovations, the level of disruption was much greater than anticipated and affected our ability to carry out business as usual. Specifically, we encountered the following issues: Construction at the entrance, which made it difficult to navigate in and out of the hotel for pick up / bus. Loud drilling and other construction noises in the lobby and pool, as well as from workers on the rooftop and directly on our floor, often starting early in the morning. Workers resting in the hotel’s communal areas, which created discomfort and disruption for our group. Exterior painting that added both noise and an unsightly atmosphere like keeping curtains rooms closed and painters working in front of pool, gym windows / balcony. As a group that returns to your hotel every year for this annual trip, the environment we encountered this time was not what we’ve come to expect. The disruptions not only affected our ability to enjoy the hotel but also impacted the professional nature of our trip. Given the inconvenience and the possible long-standing relationship we would like to have with your hotel, I believe it would be appropriate to discuss compensation or a voucher for an upcoming stay ( only once renovation works have been done for the majority ). Staying here was such a pleasant experience! The staff were very hospitable and accommodating. When we ordered food through room service, we simply showed my friend’s team member ID and received a discount—everything was handled smoothly with no miscommunication at all. The front desk and duty manager were both very helpful during our stay. The swimming area looked inviting, though we didn’t get the chance to try it since we headed to Kite Beach that day. The only thing I wished for was fresher seafood, but overall, everything else was excellent. Would definitely come back again! 💗 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Excellent Stay and Amazing Food! I had a wonderful stay at this hotel — everything was perfect from start to finish. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay. A special mention goes to Jayasiri, whose cooking was absolutely outstanding! Every meal was fresh, full of flavor, and clearly prepared with great care and passion. The food alone made my stay unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great hospitality, comfort, and delicious meals. I’ll definitely be coming back!
