Our Family had a most excellent experience at Sensira. We were especially lucky to stay during Dia de los Muertos which made it an extraordinary time for us. The passion and talent of the entire dance team Iris, Alexa, Claudia, Abi, Karla, Nestor, David, José was a beautiful representation of Mexican culture. Samantha and Eliza did a great job entertaining and performing tirelessly everyday during our stay with excitement and enthusiasm. Samuel and Alex were our attentive servers by the pool and on the beach, hustling food and drinks for us every day. They had an excellent attitude and worked very hard waiting on large demanding crowds of guests. The pool bartenders were unbelievable and never stopped making drinks. Our most excellent server Alexander, helped to provide both of our favorite dining experiences at Tentazione. Our 4 kids got to do almost everything including the adventure club, theater shows, movies, trampoline park, pool, video games, ping pong, karaoke, zip-line, beach, pools, and water slides. There was also mini golf, basketball, and tennis. The quality of our trip far surpassed the cost of our stay and all of the staff did their best to accommodate at all times. I am not a fan of restaurant menus on cell phones during dinner. I would have preferred a hard copy. Otherwise, Thank you for an amazing time. We would like to return again during this same time next year.

We stayed 9 days at Sensira and We had a wonderful vacation. I can not imagine a better hotel. All the staff was amazing. So very very friendly and helpful with everything. Special thank to Yosher and Josephine and all the other staff at the kids club. My girls loved you all! My doughter has the little paper with all your names from the kids club and you al ment so much for her. The food was amazing. The pool bar and pool restaurant was so great with fantastic service. Perfect lunch by the pool. We loved the tea house and all the restaurants and the breakfast was great, with fantastic service. We liked rodeo grill the most, they had great vegetarian food as well. We went to a very nice excursion to chichen itza and to a cenote that we booked from the hotel, thank you! We were also 2 hours snorkeling at a coral reef only ten minutes by boat from the hotel, amazing! The first days it was saragassum, but than the wind changes and the beach was beutiful. The room was allways very clean. We also liked the gym and spa. Thanks again for a wonderful vacation. Everything was great. The children loved everything. This hotel have so much for the children: kids club, zip line, trampolines etc. And thank you for the great halloween celebration and the great shows at the ”foam”. The entertainment was so good and also the music and the activities by the pool (zumba, trampoline workout). We recommend this hotell 100%.

Amazing Experience at Sensira Kids & Baby Club! We were absolutely blown away by the Sensira Kids and Baby Club! The entire team was incredible — Lupita, Josephine, Marines, Daniela, Fatima, and Amy — each one of them went above and beyond to make our children feel happy, safe, and excited every single day. The staff were so warm, caring, and creative with the activities. Our kids couldn’t wait to go back every morning! It’s such a relief for parents to know their little ones are in such loving and capable hands while enjoying their own vacation moments. Thank you to the whole team for your kindness, patience, and energy — you truly made our family vacation unforgettable. 🌴💛

The service at this resort was fantastic. Everyone we met was so polite, eager to serve us food and help us out however they could, helpful with teaching us Spanish and so respectful to our small children - treating them like whole people and letting them order their own food. The facilities were clean and everywhere smelt amazing. The pool and rooms are beautiful. The entertainment staff were engaging and remembered our names. The only complaint we had was that another (negative!) review mentioned a snake in the hallway and we were disappointed to not encounter any snakes as promised! We did see lots of lovely local birds and spot some iguanas basking. We would definitely return again.

Room: The room was clean, stylish, and had an amazing sea view. The minibar was well-stocked, and housekeeping came twice a day. Every evening, they left a nice touch — a handwritten note with a few cookies on a wooden board. Restaurants: The Mexican restaurant was average. The food quality was fair, but one experience was disappointing — after we gave the waiter a tip, he asked for more, which felt uncomfortable. The à la carte restaurants were spacious, with a good variety of food, fruits, ice cream, cookies, and desserts. However, the restaurant staff could be friendlier. At first, they ask if you need anything, which is nice, but if you don’t tip, they tend to ignore your table afterward. The steakhouse was excellent — our waiter was very attentive and introduced us to some amazing cocktails. Staff: Overall, the staff were friendly and helpful, except for one of the lifeguards, Enrique, who was rude. Reception: Reception staff were polite and welcoming. Pools and Facilities: The kids’ pool had plenty of fun amenities, and the trampoline area was safe and enjoyable for children. The poolside activities were average, and the snack bar near the pool was good. However, the bartenders at the pool bar could be a bit friendlier compared to other resorts I’ve visited. The nightly shows were fantastic — great energy and performance! Smoking-Free Rule & Lifeguard Incident: We didn’t see any “no smoking” signs anywhere in the resort. On our first day, while walking to the Coral Bar, my friend and I each had a cigarette. Suddenly, the lifeguard, Enrique, came toward us and said it was a smoke-free hotel. We explained that we didn’t know because there were no signs or notices during check-in. When we asked the bartender for an ashtray, he didn’t have one and gave us a cup instead. Then, Enrique came and suddenly pulled the cup from my hand — which was shocking and rude. If the hotel or certain areas are smoke-free, there should be clear signs or guests should be informed at check-in. In most resorts I’ve visited, outdoor smoking was allowed. Also, enforcing rules should not be the lifeguard’s responsibility — their main job is pool safety. During our stay, I even saw the same lifeguard playing volleyball and handling towels instead of watching the pool, and once he appeared to be drinking while on duty. No one should ever grab something from your hand without consent. His behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful. Because of that experience, I’m deducting one star from my review. Otherwise, the resort overall was good and enjoyable.
