This resort was truly incredible. We went as a couple with no children and had a great experience. It was very quaint and easy to find all the amenities.
The staff are extremely friendly, attentive and made our stay very special in so many ways.
The restaurants and buffet were all very delicious. The beverage options are great -- even if you don't drink alcohol.
The fitness facility was excellent with barbells, dumbbells, cable machines and cardio equipment. Parking is through a valet, but we were able to walk to our car easily in some instances.

My family and I had a fantastic time at the Sensira Resort & Spa Riviera Maya Resort. For the price we paid, it was definitely worth it. The best part was how well the resort catered to kids. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights, which was just the right amount of time.
Our child enjoyed various activities such as the pool, trampoline house, zip-lining, movie theater, face painting (at the Adventure Club, which offers a weekly list of activities and child drop-off service), and even rode a mechanical bull at the steakhouse.
The food was pretty good overall—breakfast was typical, the steakhouse was great, and the Italian restaurant was enjoyable. The staff who stood out for their excellent service were Angel (who greeted us, handled our bags, and answered our questions), Heuev (our waiter), Catherine (our hostess), and the BEST BARTENDER, Omar.
Overall, this resort is excellent for families with kids. To be honest, I would only come here with children, as the resort is primarily catered to them, which was the main purpose of our trip, so I am very satisfied!

The staff were really good and friendly.
We travel often and this was a quick and inexpensive trip for us. We ended up leaving 3 days early due to weather and because of the rain there isn’t much to do but stay in the room.
Food was a 3/10. Not sure why folks are saying good food. Facilities a little tired.
This is also a slip hazard place. So many people falling from the floors. Our son cut his lip when he fell, a lady also busted her head walking to the restaurant. Also in the dining room people kept slipping and falling.
Buffet does not go into dinner which is tough for families with young kids.
Room service food is just as mediocre as the Buffett.
The pool consisted of 2 slides that looked 30 years old.
Indoor trampoline was filthy.
Daycare smelled and felt dirty.

I was anxious arriving at the resort having read some of the comments beforehand but I think in all fairness it’s a nice resort for being so close to the US and my only complaint would be attentiveness of some staff. Some are brilliant so it’s unfair to say that the whole resort lacks service. They could also perhaps be a little more attentive to cleanliness of the resort (our room was very clean). Buffet food wasn’t the greatest but not being a huge foodie, there was ample choice. The beach was covered in seaweed about 3 feet wide making the sea inaccessible but again this is something I knew ahead of time which isn’t unique to this property so unfair to rate the property against that natural occurrence.
We stayed in the Ruby Suite and it was a great size for 2 adults and a child.
In summary, the resort is a great family friendly option. It’s no where near a four seasons or rosewood level resort but it’s a respectable, pleasant vacation resort with kids.

Was there only for a few hours as my flight was delayed, so my stay wasn't optimal. The rooms are better than my other resort, but an open shower in the middle of the room is not a great idea. Also there were no hot water in the shower, but we didn't have enough time to see if it can be fixed.
The food was very fresh, but some kids wouldn't find a lot of options as the food is more oriented to grown-ups.
The beach and pools are amazing.
