It was our first visit to the Resort, and from the minute we arrived we were impressed with the overall level of the condition of the facility, and the service they were prepared to provide. The Resort was clean, the room was spacious with a great view. We were fortunate to have a couple of great guys (Oscar, Rafael), take us under their wings, and the level of service they provided was , next level!! The food was very good, the weather was amazing, and despite the reviews about the seaweed problem, it was totally manageable. It is a very heavy ‘kid friendly’ resort, but when spending the days at the Adult only pool, the kids were not a factor. Again, we are super grateful to Oscar, and Rafael, and the entire staff for a great vacation! THANKS GUYS!! Hope to be back again.

We stayed at Sensira over spring break and it was just what we needed - family friendly, safe, great staff…just tons of fun! Our kids are 5 and 6 - so much for them to do: swim in the pools, ocean, trampoline, zip line, kids club activities, mini golf, ice cream, and video games. We all had a blast. This was the smallest place I have been but that was perfect for a first time with kids. Would definitely recommend. Only complaint was they never restocked the mini bar - I never called or talked to the front desk about it as there were bars to grab a drink - but it would be nice if they brought more pop and water to the rooms.

We’re a family of 5 (6,4,1 y/o) and this place was perfect for us. The staff are fantastic and food was surprisingly very good. There are critics of the beach because it draws seaweed. The staff is out every morning cleaning up as much as they can. Still totally fine to swim and enjoy. If you can’t deal, don’t go here. Kids splash pad is great for kids 1-7 y/o. Three restaurants for special dinners but the main dining buffet provides just as good, if not better meals. Plenty of indoor activities for kids as well if they need a break from the sun!

One of the WORST service experiences we have ever had! If you have littles, I do not recommend you stay. After being here for over a day, our child got very sick, projectile vomiting kind of sick. My child threw up all over me in the lunch area and instead of the waiter trying to help, while I was trying to clean up the mess so others wouldn't slip, he said "Please do not use the napkins, they will get contaminated." It then took them over 5 minutes to clean up the mess and someone almost slipped twice. Their response to this was nothing other than "well, he's probably not use to this kind of food." That is a sack of crap given we just visited Colombia a couple of months ago and he responded so great to the food! Their only solution was to provide room service for our little one. Every time our child eats the room service food he gets sick again and if he is not throwing up, he is getting diarrhea. To top it off, when they dropped off the room service once there was a dead fruit fly on the tray. We tried to leave early and asked if we could just be refunded the days that we would be leaving early and they said no. No attempt, no compromise just no. Even though the food is making our child sick time after time. On top of that the mini fridge that is in our room doesn't even reach the levels to keep our son's milk cold yet they can't accommodate his milk and place it in the kitchen fridge due to "inspections" To top everything off, the resort was not as advertised. Its not clean, there is literally mold in the lobby ceiling vents, the food contamination is beyond, and the activity area are super run down and out dated. Multiple activities were not available like put put golf and a lot of activities have restrictions on them. So many of the resort chairs are broken and the towels are dirty. THE BEACH SIDE IS NOT AT ALL as shown and pictures. Clear and blue, more like brown and murky. I understand that they cannot control the seaweed but it should at least be advertised correctly. Honestly, the most frustrating part is that they did not just let us check out to accommodate our child who was sick due to their food. To wrap up the experience, my husband, and myself both also started getting sick by the end of the experience. We were met with nausea, stomach aches and diarrhea. Just not at all a good experience. We ended up leaving a day early to try and get back stateside. I am in the event and service industry and I was just blown away by the lack of hospitality and assistance! I highly would not recommend this to anyone!

This hotel was great! I was concerned after reading the reviews, but what we experienced was not even close to what was mentioned. The staff was wonderful from the time we arrived until the time we left. There was a lot of maintenance being done at the hotel. They were painting, tree and bush trimming, cleaning up the beach etc. We spent most of our time in the adult section and they were enforcing no children, which was refreshing to see. We had no problems getting into the restaurants for dinner and the food was good at every restaurant. The palapas and beach chairs were hard to come by. If you want one you do need to get up early and claim your spot. We had a Ruby Suite with butler service. It was all amazing from the room, views, daily service etc. Rafael was our butler most of the time and he was beyond amazing and made it all happen. My only complaint would be the road to the resort is horrible!!! I would highly recommend this hotel and we would definitely come back.
