I booked the Preferred Club Premium Suite Ocean View King Bed Hot tub the room was very spacious and clean! We stayed from may 23 for 3 nights. If you are staying at this hotel the preferred rooms I highly recommend! I wish I would’ve looked at the reviews before booking as the beach wasn’t what I was hoping for very rocky and not very clear. The drinks all tasted very watered down and salty they have to be filled half way with water. There’s a lot of young children if you are going without kids I would recommend booking elsewhere there wasn’t much to do for adults and the bars closed early. Some of the employees had poor customer service. Only went to dinner at Italian restaurant the white pizza was soo good! But the service was very poor. Watched the waiter fill up other tables glasses while our sat empty and it was towards the end of the night so it wasn’t because they were busy. It was my boyfriend’s birthday which they knew and they didn’t even put a happy birthday or a candle on his dessert. When the table next to us celebrated an anniversary and theirs said happy anniversary! We are a interracial couple and I felt some of the employees seemed a bit racist. For a 5 star hotel I was disappointed. I was disappointed it didn’t say when booking the preferred rooms the boat ride to the beach was was only on certain days and not on Friday Saturday or Sunday which I would think are the busier days! Will definitely do more research when booking at all inclusive resort next time as we are in our late 20s and left the kids at home we thought there would be more entertainment for us.

This has been, without question, the most disappointing and underwhelming resort experience I’ve ever encountered. While the views and rooms are visually impressive, the overall stay is completely overshadowed by the resort’s shockingly poor service and apathetic staff. From the outset, the hospitality has been unacceptable. Staff members consistently displayed a dismissive and indifferent attitude when taking orders, refilling drinks, or responding to simple requests such as condiments. At one point, we requested additional beers, only to receive them 15 minutes later after reminding the waiter twice. This delay wasn’t due to high volume; the restaurant was practically empty, and the server was standing idly by. This pattern of negligence extended across every restaurant on the property. Orders were taken slowly, meals arrived with frustrating delays, and the lack of attentiveness disrupted the dining experience altogether. It’s a consistent trend that’s well documented in other guest reviews that this resort is plagued by a systemic issue of poor hospitality and abysmal customer service. To make matters worse, the hotel damaged my uncle’s luggage. We explained that the bag was intact from the airport to the shuttle, and that it was handled with care. Upon arrival, all luggage was lined up in a stable position on the driveway before being moved into storage. However, by the time it was delivered to his room, one of the wheels was completely broken. Instead of taking responsibility, the hotel insisted on a three-day “investigation” to determine liability which is the same entire length of our three day trip. This response is not only dismissive but reflects a complete lack of urgency, integrity, and accountability. For a resort operating under the Hyatt name, I expected professionalism, efficiency, and courtesy. Unfortunately, the reality is a stunning lack of all three. A beautiful location and well-appointed room mean very little when every interaction with staff leaves you frustrated and disrespected. Hospitality should be the heart of any luxury resort but here, it’s glaringly absent.

For families, bring water shoes because the bottom of the pool is rough. The beach is small but it was not busy when we were there. Rooms all had great views and there was a nice breeze the whole time. Shower water smelled like the ocean, but large rainfall shower setups. The silent party was very fun. Le petite chef was very fun. Erasmo on the HobieCat made our trip complete, we saw sea turtles while sailing too!

We stayed 6 nights at Dreams Vista & Golf with a business/ pleasure trip. Excellent: Views from every class of room category are perfect. You can see the ocean, beach, sunrise and golf course. Service including restaurants, room service were on time and staff was very friendly. Good: The restaurants were overall pretty good. Nothing overly memorable but lots of options. During the day they had a bbq going around the pool, standard lunch buffet and a taco, burger and sushi outdoor restaurant which was very popular. The Steakhouse (Preferred Only) was actually our least favourite but had fantastic views. Other Notes: Beach was smaller in size but they did have a crew removing seaweed every day, keeping it pretty clean. Most of the beach, deck area on the waterfront was for preferred members only. Preferred upgrade was well worth the money, adding the rooftop pool, section on beach and additional restaurants. Checkout we had an additional charge for some spa service but was ratified after a short discussion. Reminder to check your invoice before you pay. Overall I would recommend this resort for families and couples.

After reading a bunch of reviews running down the food and other aspects of this resort, I was pretty close to changing my reservation. I'm glad I didn't, the food options were all pretty great, even the pool food compared to most resorts is top notch. The resort feels brand new, for example most public restrooms are immaculate. To others' opinions, there is the whole premium aspect for certain amenities, something to be aware of. Lastly the layout of the resort is a bit weird and causes the pool to be completely under shade by 4 or so in the afternoon. The pool could also be warmer.
