Can't recall if I've stayed at an all inclusive resort like this before, but my family and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Nice ocean view and meals included. We didn't know until the second day. The World Buffet had a nice rotating variety. Was nice having snacks and a light meal at the preferred lounge in the check in area. The Japanese fusion was interesting. Very hospital staff. We met someone from the airport that was a staff of Dreams Resorts and he talked about the hotel and whatnot. There was a deposit we put in and was returned the next day after we attended a "meeting" about the hotel. Avoid this. They will try to sell you a time share/membership. That took up two and a half hours of our time. Though we did get activity coupons and discounts. But yeah that left a sour feeling that morning before we went to Isla Mujeres. Kind of wish there were more restaurants and stores a bit closer to the resort. They're all still in walking distance and outside the guard gate. The ferry terminal is nearby too. Felt relatively safe and there were National Guards posted in touristy spots. As for the rooms, we had two rooms. I thought it was going to be a family suite style thing, but it was just two conjoined rooms. Which ain't that bad either. Well stocked with drinks and snacks. Bed was nice. Shower takes a bit of time to heat up though. AC got the room chilly fast. There's a tour booking desk and drug store on site too. We did a full day tour to Chichen Itza. The fitness center was nice too and had lots of machines. We didn't get to snorkel on their beach or during our trip since the weather wasn't ideal for water activities. Windy and rough. There was a kids outdoor play section which was really cool. Wanted to try the rock climbing wall and surfing, but didn't get the chance to. There was sportfishing charters avaible. Would come back to fish. We stayed mid November.

For a luxury hotel, there sure were some misses. 1. After 4:30p the restaurants are pretty much reservations so long wait time if you miss booking a reservation in a timely manner. 2. The pool was cold the entire time, i sayed for 3 days and didn’t go in once. If you book preferred, there is a heated roof top pool. The concept of paying for luxy and having to pay MORE just to get the basics of any other resort is insane to me. Also preferred has a separate section on the beach so for regular members, you get one small little section of beach, again INSANE. 3. The food was pretty good, best ive had on an all inclusive but i did get sick the last day i was there. I spent a majority of my flight back in the bathroom. Another member of our group also good food poisoning 2 days prior so what are the ods. 4. The massive glass door to the bathroom completely came off the hinges and in full panick i had to somehow get in leaned on a wall so it wouldn’t shatter in the bathroom. Maintenance came very quickly and were able to fix it at 1am so that was great! Overall the customer service was amazing and all the waiters were SO KIND and honestly the saving grace for the review. As far as the luxury experience, very lack luster. Ive had more luxury at RIU hotels at a cheaper rate. I unfortunately dont see myself coming back here. Again i would like to reiterate that the hospitality was amazing.

Sooo very disappointed. First time taking my kids on a vacation and did not live up to any expectations or advertised. First night we got there, ordered food from room services. Was horrible. The burger was still pink completely pink. It look incredibly long for our suit cases to get delivered, we even went down to ask if we can get them ourselves and they basically refused and said they would be up by the time we got back up, and they weren't....so we left the room to check things out. The entertainment is very much lacking compared to all other resorts. Nothing to really do after 5pm and only one show at night. We went to the time share one on one presentation. (Not the first time we've been to Mexico or done one of these things) And I said I wouldn't be doing it and it would be a no from the VERY beginning and a few times and they said it was ok, and was clearly not as they and the manger got extremely upset we said no. They were rude, made ridiculous comments and just I was flat out shocked at the behavior. The food was very meh at best at the buffets and I'm STILL sick a week being home where I have to take antibiotics from this place. (Last resort I stayed at I didn't get sick). And, to top it off the service and cleaniness of the rooms was not what you'd expect at apparently a 5 star resort. How they got that rating is absolutely crazy. I do have to say the actual restaurants were amazing with good food and service. I would NEVER recommend this place, and in fact I will tell people who ask to stay away. Guess I'll have to do better research next time, even though I thought I had.

Means hospital has a great experience. We really enjoyed how everything was easy to get to since the hotel is set up in a very organized manner. The pool was cleaned daily, surfers around the pool came around often, and we were able to get a pool chair everyday. The core zone was really good for our kids. And the explore club staff did a great job. All the restaurants had good food. We just need to make sure to make a reservation with the Hyatt app, because they would get very busy around 7:00 pm. Rooms were cleaned well everyday and it gave us lots of towels so we never ran out. We enjoyed the activities Zeus put on and our kids enjoyed the Wave Rider and the splash park. It was fun to play volleyball on the days when it was not too windy. It's too bad you can't order nice weather when you book a hotel lol. The only downside of the trip, why we didn't give it five stars, just because the beach has rough sand. (Sargasm wasn't an issue, They have a net around the swimming area that catches a lot of the sargasm and the workers rake the beach every morning.)

The rooms could be better. Since the resort is only 5 years old I just expected to be “wow” by the room. Service was good we ended up becoming members to get access to “preferred” restaurants and pool it was ok. The food at the other restaurant were so good! So I just expected more for the “preferred” beautiful place to have a wedding. There are a lot kids. I wouldn’t recommend to stay if your not traveling with kids
