We travelled with a baby and I give the resort 10/10 for being baby friendly! They offered us a playpen, crib, baby bath tub and even brought a high chair in our room which was appreciated. The explorers club was nice during family time for baby to play and we found something for baby to eat every meal. Everywhere was stroller friendly except the beach. The resort is super quiet and isn’t really for party people. If anything we were bored most nights because the place was a ghost town after 9pm. The pool is FREEZING! The location of this place is truly Horrible so expect to be cold in the water and expect an egregious amount of wind. The kids water park wasn’t even useable because it’s basically a wind tunnel. Super poor architecture. Some days you couldn’t even open the umbrella at the pool because of the bad winds. The food is OK. Nothing special. The hibachi experience is extra money… the best food was the afternoon grill food. Otherwise don’t expect to be blown away. BEWARE!!! The “VIP services” will try to get you to sign up for a 90 minute presentation for a timeshare. They are super aggressive and will harass you to attend. They kept calling our room. It was insane. We went and the reps are even more aggressive. It’s $20,000USD so don’t fall for their antics.

Great Friends’ Getaway — Amazing Staff & Activities We recently spent a week at Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort with a group of friends, and overall we were very impressed with the experience. The quality of the food and drinks was excellent throughout our stay. There was a great variety of restaurants, so we never got bored and always had something new to try. Big thumbs up on the dining experience 👏 A special shoutout to Rubi — she truly made our trip memorable. From day one, she looked after us and kept our group fully engaged with activities like pickleball, beach volleyball, and surfing. She built a fantastic rapport with us and kept the energy high the entire week. Staff like her make a real difference — highly appreciated! ⭐ Our room was clean and well maintained, and housekeeping did a great job with daily cleaning, which was impressive. However, one downside was that we had paid for a sea-facing room but were given only a partial sea view, which was a bit disappointing. For activities: ✅ Pickleball court available (rackets and balls can be borrowed free — great touch) ✅ Surfing is good for beginners and fun to try ✅ Nice kids’ pool area with water activities for families ⚠️ Golf is available but comes at an additional cost and is quite expensive Overall: A very enjoyable stay with great food, strong entertainment, and excellent staff — especially Rubi. Fix the room view allocation and golf pricing, and this place would easily be 5 stars. Would definitely recommend for friends’ getaways and active holidays.

We were here for 5 nights in February 2026. We were with famiy and friends. I'll start with the positive. We arrived late so that fact that the buffet was open till 10p was great because we were all very hungry. The check in process was smooth and quick. The rooms were good size and clean. The entire property is very clean. The food is good but not great. We were able to book dinner each night at the restaurants without any issues. The resort is in a private gated area which was nice because there was no local walking around trying to sell you stuff. It felt very safe. The beach area had a lot of nice places to take photos too. There was a lot of seaweed and rocks making it hard to swim in. Now onto what we didn't like. The lobby was small and uninviting. On our last day there our transfer to the airport was late and they didn't want to help us. We didn't know what to do because our agent also ignore us. It was very frustrating. There was no swim up bar. We didn't think this would bother us but we know now this is a deal breaker because it made the all-inclusive experience not as fun. There was only 1 pool in the whole resort (unless you go with the upgrade then there is a pool on the top floor) which we don't care for. We noticed that the resort was extremely calm and quite and we didn't hear much music at all. There wasn't a lot of activities taking place during the day - it was a bit too quite for us. We enjoy waking up to loud music and a lot of stuff happening around us. This resort was not for us and we would not come back to it again.

Good location if you are looking to be away from the main hotel zone. The resort has a great kids club and spa. Golf is cheaper if you book through the golf club next door. Beach is small but clean and great pool/beach service. The bathrooms all had a sewer smell, in the rooms and other bathrooms on the resort. The restaurants were not great. It definitely is not a 5 star resort. For the price I expected better food at the restaurants and better cocktails, the one good restaurant is the blue water grill and hard to get reservations. The pools were freezing! The main pool and kids pool were like a cold plunge and did not warm up threw the day. The hot tub was luke warm. On the coldest day we were there our kid plus 6 others were in the hot tub because the pools were unbearable. Staff came 3 times to ask the kids to get out of the hot tub for their safety. We explained there is an adults only pool on the roof top, the water in the hot tub was colder than their bath water and all parents were with their kids. The kids pool is in the shade and wind the whole day.

We had really high hopes for this trip, especially traveling with a baby, but this stay was incredibly disappointing from start to finish. First, our air conditioning didn’t work properly for the first three days. Every single time it stopped working we had to call, and maintenance would come during my baby’s naps which was beyond frustrating. When you’re traveling with an infant, nap time is sacred, and the constant disruptions made the first half of our stay stressful and exhausting. When we arrived, instead of feeling welcomed, we were immediately pressured to attend a “luxury vacation club” presentation. We ended up wasting 90 minutes listening to what turned out to be a glorified timeshare pitch. It felt misleading and pushy, especially when all we wanted to do was settle in and start our vacation. The most upsetting part of our stay was getting food poisoning — not from the buffet, but from one of their so-called “preferred exclusive guests” rooftop restaurants. I hadn’t left the resort, so it’s hard to imagine it came from anywhere else. When we called concierge to let them know and see what support they could offer, they completely dismissed my concerns. I was told I “could have gotten it anywhere,” which felt incredibly invalidating and unhelpful while I was clearly unwell. There was no follow-up, no concern, no support. We also paid extra for “Preferred” status, which frankly didn’t feel worth it. Beach seating was extremely limited. We woke up early every day just to secure chairs and still could only get four chairs for our family of five. Even then, we were repeatedly harassed to give up a chair when latecomers showed up at noon. That’s unacceptable after paying a premium. On top of that, the pool was freezing cold and constantly windy — it felt like a wind tunnel. We didn’t swim once. Overall, between the broken AC, pushy sales tactics, dismissive staff when I got sick, and the lack of actual “preferred” benefits, this was not the relaxing family vacation we expected. I would not return or recommend it, especially to families traveling with young children.
