First time staying at this resort and my family and I were very impressed! We had looked through a few options and we’re so happy we went with Dreams Vista. The hotel is very clean and you can tell they take great effort into keeping it looking like that. The rooms were spacious, clean and nice. The food was great! The buffet had great options, the tacos were absolutely delicious and all the restaurants had a lot of great dishes as well! The beach area is not too big but we were able to find a seat every day we were there and Diana at the barracuda beach bar was extremely attentive. We always had a drink in hand thanks to her. Another spot we loved was the cafe on the lobby level, we went there numerous times and Isabel and Iris were so lovely and gave amazing service. The hospitality and guest experience at this hotel was wonderful thanks to their amazing staff. Overall we had the best time and would for sure recommend this resort to family and friends!

We had our wedding here and it was everything I wanted. We stayed there a week and the food was okay. The best restaurant was Vista Prime but always had a long wait. Our rehearsal dinner was at Mi Lucretia and it was awful. We had a total of 20 guests and the service was slow as if they didn’t know we were coming. The lights went out which resulted in no A/C and all our guests complained. The entertainment while we were there was 8/10. It was fun and good. Our room we stayed in was beautiful and always taken care of when we returned. In one side is a beautiful ocean and rich homes but on the other side was a swamp. I was told flamingo go there in August and they have two alligators. They did adjust the temperature up every time it was cleaned, so we continually adjusted the temperature down when coming back. The main pool was fun and loved that they had service to bring drinks. The ocean had a ton of seaweed but the beach was well maintained. They have a trampoline and water slide in the ocean that was impossible to use due to broken latter. Overall loved this resort, I don’t know if we’d return but it was a great experience to be married there!

My family and I stayed here for 10 days during spring break and had the best experience! The employees were so friendly and attentive always there to help or grab you a drink. I would highly suggest getting the upgrade to the Club Level, access to the rooftop pool was such a nice experience. It is an adults only area (our whole group was 18+), it is a bit calmer area and the views are stunning. We ate at all of the restaurants they had on site and had nothing but amazing things to say about them. The food was delicious, the drinks were amazing and the staff was so attentive and kind. Our rooms were large and had a comfortable king sized beds in them. The patio had a nice set of chairs and table, perfect for your morning coffee. The activities they have organized around the resort are also a nice touch, they had everything from beach volley ball, pickle ball, surfing, tequila tasting and so many more! I cannot recommend this resort enough, we had a great time!

It was a very expensive stay and our expectations were not reached at all. We came for a family wedding and with all the people the bride and groom brought, we didn’t get any « VIP » service. We arrived in advance for the check in, we were dying for a shower but they did anything for us to get refreshed. They wanted us to wait few hours in the lobby. I was so mad when I saw showers and bathrooms at the beach, at least it could have helped to feel better. Regarding the room, I was so disappointed by the dust on the floor, we couldn’t walk bare feet. The service was not really good, we always felt that we bothered the employees and waiters. The reception service is rude and not very welcoming. When I see the other bad comments, I see that they copy paste their answers, it is not really serious for a 5 stars restaurant. They should really review their staff and service management.

I stayed at this hotel and was seriously injured. When I was playing in the pool, a golf ball hit me hard on the head and I fell down. There were children in front of me. My daughter was worried about me and cried as I collapsed with bleeding from my head. No situation is funny. Since then, I have been suffering from dizziness and headaches. I plan to file a complaint with the hotel once the diagnosis is complete. Most importantly, we told them that the chairs on the golf course side should be removed. However, they did not listen at all and continued with their business. Isn't the hotel your primary concern? This hotel is not safe. When playing in the main pool, you must be careful of golf balls. When I collapsed, some of the staff laughed and told me to use your insurance and go to the hospital. I appealed to hotel it is natural for the hotel to pay. I left the hotel in a dizzy state, but no one, not even the manager, came out to see me off. I was impressed with the quality of the staff at this hotel.

Regarding the medical expenses incurred. The hotel was very slow to respond and still has not paid the medical expenses. This is the worst response. Endlessly disappointing. We contacted Hyatt headquarters last week. I am wondering what kind of response we will get.
