What an experience. Sprawling properly bang on the beach with clean beach line. Was settled in beach view room followed by beach villa, you wake up to the sound of waves crashing on the shores with picturesque Sunrise. Property is very well maintained, but with signs of age, which in my opinion app the extra flavor to the over all outlook of the property. Mercado, La Blue restaurants, we frequently visited. Both were very comfy, and inviting. I went with wife and my toddler. We had great time here. Service could have been better but given the size of property and number of guests, it's not a downside. All the members of staff, reception, restaurant service staff did their best. Special thanks to Mr Kooshal from reception and Mr Azad, the chef from Mercado were very helpful through out the stay. It's located on the southern part of the island, in the midst of nature and on the beach, one should expect little less connectivity to the local market places, which is very well compensated by the in house store. Overall it was very pleasant and rejuvenating time we we spent here at Outrigger! Thank you for the Hospitality

We had an amazing stay at Outrigger Mauritius Beach Resort! The resort’s location is absolutely stunning—right by the beach, with breathtaking ocean views and a calm, relaxing vibe. A special mention to Chef Azad, who went above and beyond to make our anniversary dining experience memorable. He personally took care of us, preparing delicious dishes and even making a few upon our request. A big thanks also to Swaroopa, who made our anniversary celebration special and memorable. Some improvement is still needed in hospitality and services, but overall, it was a good experience.

We had such a great time, the service in general is a work in progress but thank you to GREGORIE at the pool bar🫶, he was friendly, impacable service, and amazing! He is the hotel's sunshine! Staff at the reception are very great too as well as the spa staff. The food was good and rooms clean. We will definitely go again. Such a scenery this hotel 😍🏝

The Staff is very friendly and superb. They are on their toes for everything. And took care of us. We had a very good stay. We would like to mention Chef Azad who was superb and vegetarian meals were cooked deliciously with such authentic taste. The flavours were so good and mouth watering. Staff took care of us on our first anniversary and made our day special too. In staff Sam and Tanmay were great and took care of everything in restaurant.

Check-in and Service Delays • Check-in Experience: We checked in around 2:30 PM. • Tea Time Disappointment: The afternoon tea service was very poor for a five-star resort. Only bhajia was served at the bar with no tea, and a severe lack of variety. • Slow Bar Service: We waited for almost 45 minutes for a simple cocktail order from the bar, indicating a need for greater staff efficiency and responsiveness. We noticed a general lack of proactive approach and engagement from some staff members. 2. Room Condition and Maintenance • The room furnishings and fittings felt old and dated. • We noted several maintenance issues, including a broken light, damaged wooden framing, and stained mirrors, which detract significantly from the luxury experience. 3. Dining Experience (Buffet and À La Carte) • Buffet Quality (Dinner/Breakfast): The food at the main buffet restaurant was described as quite basic and not meeting the expected five-star standard. • Desserts: The dessert selection was particularly disappointing, described as "horrible" with only four basic varieties available (excluding ice cream). • Restaurant Layout: The buffet arrangement was confusing and inconvenient, making the process of serving food feel like a "treasure hunt." • À La Carte Dinner: At the specialty restaurant, the food quality was poor; specifically, the chicken dish was very dry, and the desserts were again unsatisfactory. • Breakfast Environment: The main restaurant was not air-conditioned and lacked proper ventilation, making the dining experience uncomfortably hot for both guests and staff. This heat is not conducive to a pleasant meal or a good working environment for the team. 4.
