Best stay ever! I celebrated a very special birthday here and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff made me feel truly valued, especially Jerome and Devraj, who went above and beyond to make everything perfect. The service was simply out of this world; I genuinely felt like royalty throughout my stay. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, and the room in the Nirvana section was exquisite beautifully designed, serene, and the perfect space to unwind in pure comfort. Every detail was thoughtfully considered. An unforgettable experience that I will treasure, I cannot wait to return!

I’ve never in my whole life seen this type of hospitality before, I’ll start from beginning when front desks welcomed us upon arrival on 6th of February around 6pm. Everyone was welcoming us with a real genuine smile, open body gestures and highest level of kindness. With the lead of the Dutymanager Mr.Adarsh. Once he knew that I would sleep on the sofabed he immediately offered me that he will double the mattress for me and he did it in a blink of eye. Receptionists were amazing while checking in they didn’t let us queue at the reception, they asked me to have a seat at the coach and offered us welcome drinks. Next day I met and amazing guy working as a concierge his name Mr.Jason. He was suggesting and booking for me all the activities during my stay which lasted a week at the resort, he never showed any signs of botherness, he served and helped with his deepest point of heart. After that I met Miss. Tasleemah which who was booking me the different restaurants in the resort. Miss.Tasleemah, made us felt like we’re here Family literally, she was standing for us every time we’re entering or leaving the resort, because her office is just next the gate. If she was the only one that I was dealing with in my whole stay, that would be more than enough for us. And of course the one who was checking up on us every day was mr.Hisham in the guest relations. What is special about mr.Hisham that he is the one of the kindest and politest person I’ve ever met. I’ve never experienced anything in my stays during my vacations like what Mr. Hisham did. Finally the last day when I was checking out, I met most of the people I mentioned their names above, just to say a good bye and to give me an unforgettable stay experience. I’m so honored and pleased to meet all of them.

The property itself is stunning, with a peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for couples, and every space felt thoughtfully designed. What really made the experience stand out was the incredible team behind it all. The staff didn’t just do their jobs , they genuinely cared. Every smile, every check-in, and every small gesture made us feel welcome and at home. A heartfelt thank you to Teeven, Anderson, Ravi, Damien, Ashvin, Roupesh, Owen, Cliff, Sheila, Augustin, Louis, Ourila, Vikash, Kiran, Shahyad, Adarsh C, Adarsh M, Allan, Amal, Panchoo, Devraj, Sundeep, and not to forget Mr. Gungoa Arvin. And to anyone we may have unintentionally missed, we’re truly sorry, your efforts did not go unnoticed, and we are very grateful. The service throughout our stay was exceptional, attentive without being intrusive, warm without being forced. Whether it was helping us with small requests, making our honeymoon feel extra special, or simply ensuring everything ran smoothly, the team made all the difference. Le Méridien gave us more than just a beautiful stay, it gave us memories we’ll carry with us forever. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such an important chapter of our lives, and we would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone, especially couples planning their honeymoon.

As a Marriott Member, I would like to share my experience at Le Méridien Ile Maurice, especially after witnessing an incident in the lobby today and reading a recent negative review that does not reflect what I personally experienced. First of all, my stay at this resort was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were consistently very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The entire staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional throughout my stay. I truly felt taken care of from arrival to departure. I also arrived before the official check-in time. As clearly stated during booking, check-in starts at 2:00 PM. Since my room was not ready yet (which is completely normal in hotels worldwide), the staff kindly offered me access to a shower room so I could freshen up and change. After that, I was able to relax, have a drink, and enjoy the beach and hotel facilities while waiting. I found this service thoughtful and very accommodating. Additionally, on my departure day, they generously allowed me a late check-out (three hours later) which truly helped me a lot and made my last day much more comfortable. I am sincerely very grateful for this kind gesture and would like to thank the team from the bottom of my heart. Today, before leaving, I witnessed the situation mentioned in a recent negative review. An indian woman was shouting very loudly in the lobby and behaving aggressively toward the manager, who remained calm and professional while trying to de-escalate the situation. Management handled it with patience and composure. The couple was then escorted to the lounge area. From what I observed, the staff did not behave aggressively at all (quite the opposite). They showed restraint and professionalism despite the guest’s very confrontational attitude. Early check-in requests can never be guaranteed, no matter how many messages are sent in advance. This depends on occupancy and room readiness. Expecting immediate access and reacting with hostility when it’s not possible is unfair to hotel staff who are doing their best. In contrast to that review, my experience was excellent. The service, kindness, and hospitality of the team truly made my stay memorable. I would gladly return and highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Mauritius.

They are very accommodating with our requests. The hotel is spread out over a lot of KM. They restaurants have great quality of food but not too many choices. Except for breakfast all beverages including water is expensive. Water is only complimentary for the breakfast buffet Checking out is very complicated. There are too many line items so it's hard to know if we were overcharged. They offer a free buggy service to get you to and from your room The buffet has no air conditioning so when it's hot it gets uncomfortable 😫
