My family had a fantastic stay. We stayed for two weeks and were well looked after. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They were always courteous and remembered preferences. The spa was excellent, my wife had two massages there. The buffet was good, particularly the breakfast and Italian & Indian Dinner buffet.
There are four restaurants.
Waves was very well run by Kelvin Joseph and he and his team looked after us well.
Jade - the pan Asian restaurant, was very relaxed and a great selection of sushi.
Cumin - delicious Indian food.
There are many staff throughout the hotel. The kids club was superb and my daughter wanted to go back time and time again.
Axel was very friendly and has a great personality. Both he and Kelvin could add enormous value in a managerial role as they understand their clients needs and get their team members/colleagues to support well. Top marks for them both.
Housekeeping were excellent too.

Amazing hotel lush gardens , with perfect personal attention. The room is spacious , and big plus, all hotel bedrooms are facing the ocean. Big variety of restaurants, my favorite one was Waves with delicious grilled tuna or angus sirloin, amazing desserts .
Spa treatments are outstanding and special thanks to Devina for being such a professional therapist. The gym is fully equipped and Sanchin gave me so many great advices how to improve my work out. Now I put them into my gym routine . All F&B team was extremely attentive and professional , our guest relations Aziza made our stay even more comfy.
Definitely this is the place to be back once you are on Mauritius. Thank you for making our holiday unforgettable.

Unfortunately, my stay here can be characterized with inattentive service and staff. Most of the staff feels stretched and lacks any sort of attention to customer needs. Whether it’s them congregating near the bars to chat, not getting responses back when asked a question or a service, or simple miscommunication of the different services that are offered. Restaurant selections are limited however I’ll give them that their All-Inclsuive package includes more than the Westin.
From a room perspective I can say what’s going for it is being newly refurbished. However, a noticeable amount of paint in the has began to peel. In addition, some flooring (both inside and outside the room) are in need of maintenance.
Overall, the hotel has a couple of good things going for decent amount of pools, good access to the beach but its lack of service makes me highly question why it is ranked as a 5 star hotel.
Also, stray dogs are an issue. While the dogs seem ambivalent that is still a risk.
I’m reducing a star due to the lack of follow through with a simple reply to my WhatsApp message for sending an email with the billing that was promised.

Hotel is very nice and executes luxury however there were a few things that can be improved. Also, the beach isn’t very swimmable. The restaurants are good, especially Kumin. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The view of this hotel is the beach. You will wake up everyday and see the beautiful view.
They have daily dance show or performance.
The staff is very helpful. But what I didn’t like the welcoming treatment, as they put us in room which it was very cold and we waited for 15 minutes and more with no welcoming drink or wet towel. Then they escorted us to different area where our suit was and also we needed to pass our passport agin and wait with no welcoming, and in our way to the suite they offered us a drink and we were standing and the host lady was waiting for us to finish the drink!!!! Why you didn’t offer the drink while we are waiting? This is unpleasant.
Best restaurant to eat from is Jade.
Unfortunately some staff don’t understand English very well, as we have to repeat what we need and wants multiple time.
Spa, omg, one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Very relaxing, refreshing and they spot the pain and makes your body feel likes in it is best feeling.
