We had a lovely stay here for our honeymoon. Ashwan Yosra and Shayma have been so lovely with my wife as she was taken ill. They were all so courteous and so kind which is rare. Even though sometimes things have been not in order, whenever I have called reception to ask for things, they have been so attentive and receptive. Although sometimes service can be irregular it’s completely understandable given the size of the hotel. Some staff are kinder than others but that is what you’ll get anywhere. Half board is the way to go. The views are stunning and everything being halal is such a big plus. Beach Rouge for dinner is severely underrated for dinner and it’s always nearly empty. Bodrum blue is very good. The breakfast is outstanding and Zareen at the omelette station was lovely. Make sure to book the excursion to the northern islands as well! The islands are incredible and movie-like. Overall, a very good stay.

I stayed at LUX* Grand Gaube for 8 days and had an absolutely wonderful time. From start to finish, the hospitality, warmth, and attention to detail from every team member made my stay unforgettable. At reception, Sandeep, Davesh, and Elena were all incredibly welcoming, helpful, and professional — always ready to assist with a genuine smile. A huge thank you to the amazing team at The Palm Court during breakfast and dinner. They consistently went above and beyond to make every meal feel special. Yasser was exceptional — one of the best hospitality professionals I’ve ever met. His genuine passion for looking after guests shines through in everything he does. Every morning he greeted us with a warm, heartfelt smile that set a positive tone for the day. He made sure we were always well looked after, paying attention to every small detail not just for us, but for everyone around. What truly stood out was his kindness and understanding — he even took the time to explain where I could go for Friday prayers, which was extremely thoughtful and accommodating. Yasser embodies the true spirit of hospitality, and I sincerely hope LUX* recognises the gem they have in him. Kajol was another incredibly hard-working and dedicated member of the team — always attentive, polite, and ready to help without hesitation. A special thank you as well to Chef Singh and Chef Ramen, who kindly prepared a delicious Indian biryani just for me. That personal touch made me feel completely at home, even thousands of miles away. Every member of the LUX* team contributed to making my stay extraordinary. I can’t wait to return and relive this wonderful experience again.

Absolute Paradise – A Honeymoon to Remember at LUX Grand Gaube* Our honeymoon at LUX Grand Gaube* was pure perfection from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty — every single detail was thought of, and the service was second to none. The food was absolutely outstanding, especially the buffet, which offered an incredible variety and quality every day. We also loved dining at Bodrum, INTI, and Creole Smokehouse — each with its own atmosphere, delicious cuisine, and exceptional service. A special mention to Yasser and Durgesh, who went above and beyond to make us feel so welcome — always warm, friendly, and attentive. The views were breathtaking — the turquoise water and mountains across the bay made every moment feel picture-perfect. Evenings were just as special, with lovely entertainment that added to the ambience without ever disturbing the relaxed, romantic atmosphere. Our honeymoon extras made the stay even more magical — from a soothing massage at the spa to a private honeymoon breakfast, canapés, and dinner that felt truly intimate and memorable. The team was always on hand to help with bookings, changes, or any requests we had, and they handled everything so smoothly and graciously. LUX* Grand Gaube exceeded every expectation — luxurious, serene, and full of heart. We left feeling completely refreshed, grateful, and already dreaming about returning one day.

My partner and I stayed at the LUX Grand Gaube Hotel for one night (22–23 August) in Superior Room 2119. The hotel is beautiful with a peaceful tropical setting. The ambience was lovely and the reservation staff were very welcoming. Unfortunately our experience was affected by a serious issue in the room. The toilet was completely unable to flush, which created a big mess and made the stay very uncomfortable. We reported it twice, but no one came to fix it. For a 5-star hotel, this was extremely disappointing and not what we expected after paying a premium price. It left us regretting the stay. We were just waiting to leave the hotel. Imagine a woman unable to the toilet and required to use the public toilet outside. The breakfast buffet was just average. The hotel does offer great amenities like pool, beach access and beautiful surroundings but basic maintenance and service responsiveness need serious improvement. Overall the property is beautiful but our experience didn’t reflect the 5-star promise.
