Staff was very friendly and welcoming, and went out of their way to ensure we had a nice stay. The rooms were very comfy, and I loved the beds. The food is very diverse and tasty, so there is a lot of choice for everyone. The main beach in itself has a beautiful view and the ice cream truck on the beach is a very appreciated plus. Overall I had a very nice stay with my family and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to visit Mauritius! :)

Went with family last october and stayed for 10 nights. We hired 2 rooms which both seemed a little dated had a ant problem in one (which was kind of expected being on a island) and some sort of sewage smell coming from the bathroom halve way through our stay in the other. For the most part service was good, the service along the beachside, main bar area and the adult pool area was a little patchy. Seemed like staff were very understaffed at times. Did seem like once you were recognised by staff they would go above and beyond for you. Buffet area was a bit lackluster, which led to us eating at the a la carte dining areas; italian,creole and the bodrum blue which were overall pretty good, however we left the inti restaursnt feeling a bit disappointed. *Highlights* Boat trip and snorkelling cant remember the price but took a speed boat into the mangroves and got to snorkel with all the tropical fish, about a hour round trip. Watersports were pretty good and available most the time depending on the weather. Creole smokehouse was pretty amazing for dinner and lunch. Shoutout to Kavish, Sandeep and Ricardo who helped make the holiday unforgetable. With room refurbs and maybe better staffing the hotel and experience would definately be 10/10.

Best hotel in Mauritius for us. Perfect service, even exceptional services like someone cleaning your sunglasses daily. Food was excellent. We also loved the piano player every other day at breakfast. The water sports were organized really well too, nothing better we could have asked for.

Wow what a super experience we had. It’s a stunning resort. The staff is excellent, so friendly and helpful all over. The food is more than amazing it’s the best we have ever had in Mauritius. There is a lot of water activities. The only small bit of let down is that the water is the area of Grand Guabe is not the usual clear Mauritius water, the water here is Milky white as there is a type of clay in the sand in this area. However they do have regular snorkeling trips where they take you out with the boat to clear water areas. We loved every moment. Would recommend it to everyone!!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at LUX* Grand Gaube. The resort is breathtakingly beautiful, offering a perfect blend of luxury and serenity that made our Mauritian holiday truly unforgettable. The level of hospitality we received was largely outstanding, and we must give a special mention to Yousra. She was simply brilliant, and incredibly attentive. She truly embodies the high standards of hospitality this resort is known for. Another highlight was the culinary experience; the croissants and pastries are an absolute must-try, and pairing them with the exceptional coffee at Café LUX* was a daily delight. The reason I have rated this stay 4 stars instead of 5 is due to a disappointing encounter at the water sports booking desk. Unlike the rest of the wonderful team, the staff member there was rather blunt and lacked a welcoming demeanour. Her attitude was quite discouraging and didn’t reflect the friendly, 5-star service we experienced elsewhere. Despite this, we loved every moment of our stay. The ambiance and facilities are superb, and if the service consistency is addressed, this would easily be a perfect 10/10 experience.
