We stayed with the premium package. The poolside service at the premium pool was not great this year compared to 4 years ago when Henri waited on us. We were only waited on poolside a couple times, until we left the premium pool and went to the main pool with the swim up bar and went were waited on consistently by a nice lady named Dana. The food on the resort is very mid, nothing spectacular. Having a buffet is nice, the food at the flat top in the back of the buffet is very good. We had the Italian restaurant experience and it was only okay. If you want great Mexican food, go across the street to iguanas. Amazing service, very good tacos, quesadillas, fajitas, etc. We celebrated a birthday here this week and Arbey went above and beyond to make it a special night for our birthday girl and even went and bought a cake with his own time and money. We remember Arbey from our first time here, and he is such a bright person and friendly face. We can’t wait to see him again. He is also a very great entertainer and has amazing energy. The over all stay is amazing. The beach is beautiful. The rooms are clean and neat and every employee I encountered is friendly and happy.

I am just going to list the pros and cons because there was some good here, but…would we return? A resounding NO. Pros: 1. The beach area is lovely. There’s lots of space for everyone and it wasn’t too crowded and the ocean was great to swim in. (If you’re big into snorkeling like we are, there’s unfortunately nothing here to see). 2. The kids club ladies are absolutely phenomenal! There wasn’t as much for the kids to do as other resorts we’ve gone to but they still enjoyed it. 3. I really enjoyed the heritage show they put on one particular night. It was my favorite out of all of the shows. Cons: 1. The food is TERRIBLE. And I mean terrible. Even the kids were whining they were ready to go home and eat. 2. The toilets and sinks in the rooms don’t drain. Our toilet kept getting clogged and overflowing onto the floor and the plumber man would just come in and contaminate literally everything trying to fix it, then just leave the mess. I had to ask for the cleaning lady to come and then watch her bare hand the dirty rag she just scrubbed dirty toilet water off the floor with before touching everything on the way out. 3. Including in here that the shower doors don’t shut so you drown your bathroom every time you shower. Also, I would love to know who the sinks were assembled by because you can’t even wash your hands or brush your teeth without drowning the rest of your room. The spigot almost touches the back of the sink. 4. The employees aren’t super friendly (minus the kids club as stated above). The ladies at the lunch buffet especially… they just stared at me when I asked for napkins for our family of 6 and then proceeded to open their drawer and hand me one tissue. They just all seem like they would rather be anywhere else. Barely any smiles. 5. The price gouging for a taxi if you want to go anywhere is ridiculous. $65 one way is what we were quoted. Overall, I did like the beach, but there are many other NICER places. We won’t be back.

Rooms were acceptable with good AC but a lot of bugs got in through gaps in the door. Bed was comfortable. Food was disappointing in general and there was nothing available in between meal times really. The japanese restaurant was good, but the rest got old pretty fast. Very little variety day to day either. Bars generally good, service was hit and miss at the swim up one. No hot tub. There is one, but it was the same temperature as the pool. Staff really good across the board. Pier access required a ~5usd fee per day, which is an obvious tax on other tour operators. Pretty annoying to have to pay for this. They actually called my dive boat and claimed I didn't pay, good thing I kept receipts. No more issues after that. Excellent location for diving, it's only a couple of minutes away from the best sites by boat. That said, there are pretty limited scuba-related amenities at the resort or in the rooms. The price was good, but overall I'd probably try somewhere else next time.

Amazing service. If you expect good food at an all inclusive in general, you're barking up the wrong tree. I can't rightly give this a 4 or 5 when there is so much good food on the rest of the island, especially downtown. If you like kid entertainment and music all day this is the spot for you. Might even be one of the better places for diving but we didn't dive anywhere else. The diving was baller though. Love Cozumel for that. Stewards and bartenders were top notch, though! If we had kids we would definitely go again!

Service at reception desk take the mick out of you. Each time you are there they tell you different. Don’t leave before you get what you want. They are waiting that you give up. Service wasn‘t able to change one big blanket in King Size bed to two separate blankets though we actually booked a double bed room. Asked for this 3 days in a row several times to different service people. Giving up now. Bookings for a la carte restaurants not possible, even if you are in time, everything is always „fully booked“ 😏. For New Years eve, an a la carte was offered, but did not take place. In addition a reservation was required for normal buffet, which was not communicated. Same with spa. The spirit of „I make it possible for you“/kodawari is completely missing. Food quality and decoration is more than good, New year’s eve Show was great and there are as always a few in service, who are heartlightening nice and polite. That‘s two stars, because it’s not the fault of most of the entitled service.
