Bungalow is nice. No tea or coffee available in the rooms though. Food is excellent, good variety and plenty of it. We arrived at 4pm very hungry and after a long day of travelling couldn’t get any food til 6pm when the restaurant opened. WiFi costs extra. Security deposit/safe in the room costs extra. Pool towels are a €15 deposit. Drinks after 11pm costs extra even though we are all inclusive. Gym is superb. Location is wonderful. The place is heaving with feral screaming adults and their kids. It’s like Butlins with Ugg boots, faketan, leopard skin and vapes galore. There are cigarette ends in the plant pots and half eaten sandwiches floating in the pool. It seems acceptable for some to wander round in pyjamas and no bra while puffing on a cig and yelling TYLARRRRRRR across the pool area. Tyler is currently beating a local cat with a pool noodle. If you’re after a nice hotel with good food and in a great location but with “The Sun” [newspaper] holiday vouchers feel to it, then this is it 👍🏻

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Hotel Does Not Meet 4-Star Standards We paid a lot for a holiday advertised as a 4-star hotel; however, our experience was far below this standard. In our opinion, the hotel was closer to a 1-star property and did not meet even basic expectations for comfort, cleanliness, or service. The quality of the food was extremely poor. Much of it was cold, very hard, and difficult to eat, and it caused stomach problems for the entire duration of our stay. No tea or coffee was offered with lunch or dinner, which was surprising for a hotel catering largely to English guests. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was unacceptable. The toilets were dirty and unpleasant, the swimming pool was cold and not properly maintained, and the bedsheets were not changed even once during our 10-day stay. This is completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one claiming to be 4-star. We were also disappointed by the lack of transparency regarding additional charges. We were required to pay extra for Wi-Fi and the safety deposit box in the room, but this information was not clearly stated before booking the holiday. Customer service at the reception desk was particularly poor. The staff were unfriendly and arrogant, and when we raised complaints regarding the food and cleanliness, our concerns were ignored and no action was taken. The only positive aspect of our stay was the bar staff, who were polite, friendly, and helpful. Overall, this hotel failed to meet the standards advertised and did not provide value for the price paid. We would not recommend this hotel and feel very disappointed with our holiday experience.

Firstly the Facebook group is managed by someone on the inside, my honest post on there that was written well and not in any way aggy or rude was never published; I know of 5 others that posted negative comments and were not uploaded. That tells you it’s moderated to keep the really negative stuff out. Bungalows - very old, dated, not very secure and the key cards you can’t keep near other cards, mobile phones or anything else. So whilst wearing holiday attire where are you to put the delicate key card? Staff- nice people, expect you to book excursions through them to save €1 per person but you can get more off directly. Took ages to provide more pillows and the WiFi they sell as great but it’s bad! Did refund me though. Food! There is zero positive to say about the food, this isn’t any star let alone 4, I firmly believe 3 of the 4 stars were copied and pasted from elsewhere. The food is of extremely poor quality, cooked badly and no seasoning ever. It is a joke to call it 4 star and charge as much when you are serving slop. These charge for so much that should be free with all inclusive and if not begrudge that if they paid a proper chef, and put the effort in. I see people are being called unreasonable and snobbish for not liking the gruel but that’s nonsense, I’m not even that fussy but it annoys me when we laid £11k for 6 days for 8 and expect something edible each sitting: the NYE gala promised to be something else, it was the same slop and you could pay extra for your wine and beers… not very all inclusive. All in all it was the worst holiday we have been on and I have been to Pontins and Butlins as a kid. I nearly switched in August but the Facebook group convinced me it wasn’t that bad! I wish I had changed it. I tried to fly back on day 4 but couldn’t. My advice, if you have booked this and can change it or cancel, do it! There is nothing worth staying for. A holiday is to relax, change scene, get someone else to take care of you to some extent, this place doesn’t offer any of it. No heated pool, no edible food, lack of serving staff and nothing in terms of entertainment for when the weather is poor. Save your money and go to Butlins…. Just back today would i return, Absolutely NOT! The hotel is gorgeous the grounds are fabulous. Hotel is only a 10 minute walk to main town. We paid 6000 for two weeks all inclusive 2 adults 4 children, the food was awful my kids lived off plain pasta pizza and chips. The staff that worked cooking the food and cleaners in the food area are great workers couldn’t fault how hard they work and they’re really nice but major changes need to happen with food. We ate out every day! The cleaners for the rooms are lazy and dirty id have to ring and request towels and fresh bedding, bins where left stacked out side for two days I had to ring for them to be removed, floors never washed or swept. The entertainment for the kids was ok the lads where so nice always went above and beyond to greet you, the bar lads where quite rude the cocktails where cheap and to sweet. It’s such a shame because the hotel could be amazing if they made changes. Playa Blanca was not a place for us in general and we would not return.

We are at the end of our holiday here and there are many positive things. The staff are all friendly and work very hard to keep the hotel clean and welcoming. We booked a 2 bedroom bungalow but as I requested near to restaurant were allocated a one bedroom. As there is a 20 euro per day difference in price we raised this with the hotel and our rep. The hotel basically said we are in a 2 bedroom but had trouble with a water leak in one room to our rep,( totally made up ) so we took our rep and proved to him we only have one bedroom .Why would they say this when so easily proved wrong!! The food is the most inedible I have ever had on holiday, causing severe vomiting twice. Undercooked, raw black pudding, overcooked, dried up hash browns,bacon,eggs, and consistently cold. I saw the casserole brought from the kitchen to the servery and immediately took some, this was still cold. How long is food in the kitchen ready to be taken to the servery for it to go cold? It should be piping 🔥. Yes there is a microwave but it's not safe to reheat some foods particularly fish,chicken and pork, also you shouldn't have to . Unfortunately this has been noted in reviews for months with response from management it will be dealt with but nothing has changed . This is a great shame as all staff are lovely and work so hard but sadly let down by chefs/kitchen staff and ultimately the management for not dealing with it After reading the response to my review does this mean that we can get the 140 euros that we have paid extra for the 1 bedroom bungalow before we leave for home tomorrow or will it be refunded via jet 2 ?
