Overall, a great experience. The hotel is about 3 kilometers south of the town and there's a lovely coastal path to walk or jogg along. It's a great location with seaviews and the ambience is relaxed and calming. The rooms, gym, dining room and food met our expectations. I've no hesitation in recommending this hotel. We needed some help during our stay and it's best to speak directly with the guest experience team. They were superb. The only reason this is a 4-star review is because the toilet facilities adjacent to the restaurant, specifically para los hombres, need to be renovated.

I was unsure about booking here having read variable reviews but wow I’m so glad I did! Absolutely loved the place. I travelled solo and requested a room in the main building (playa side) after booking direct. Room was huge, nice and clean, spacious balcony. The beds are honestly the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in on holiday. Staff are all super friendly. The gym and Olympic pool are incredible. I found dinner a bit repetitive but I believe this is standard in such big hotels, the choices were huge though. Evening entertainment was great too. My only slight annoyance is the sliding wardrobes are very loud and you can hear the neighbours ones through walls so if you’re a light sleeper take earplugs. It’s about a 25 min walk to centre of Costa Teguise but all along the seafront so lovely. For the price I paid and what I got for it, I would 100% recommend and I think I’ll come back next year!

Went a week with mainly focussing on sporting. The hotel is perfectly suited for triatletes but also for families. The hotel is located perfectly for cycling. Close to some climbing but also the possibility for more flat terrain. The hotel also offers storage for your bike. Bike rental is available next to the hotel and other companies nearby. The 50m pool is really nice. The food is also amazing. Will be coming back!

I recently stayed at Barceló Active Resort and had an amazing experience. The atmosphere around the pool was one of the highlights of my trip, thanks to the mini-events held throughout the day. A special shoutout goes to Tim, who led most of the activities. He was incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, and full of energy. His positive attitude made every event enjoyable, whether it was a quick game, a fitness activity, or just a fun moment to get everyone smiling. You could tell he genuinely cared about making sure guests had a great time. Overall, the resort is beautiful, but the lively poolside events and Tim’s fantastic hosting truly made the stay memorable. Highly recommend

Rooms was fine , resort was nice ect , a 5 min taxi to anywhere decent , I left a 2 star rating on service Becuase they did not want to help 1 little bit , we went for abit of gym and to relax in the sun . We got placed in a room at the back of the hotel where it made the room freezing + the heater didn’t work . We requested to room change serval times leaving my number and them promising to call me , I did this 4 times . No 1 call they brought a blanket up and told us to keep warm ….. knowing full well I would have happily paid for an upgraded room in the sun as the hotel wasn’t busy . I kept going back and it was the same answers “we will call” The bar staff was great , the pool towel guy was abit cheeky for no reason I asked for 2 towels and he told me to go get a ticket from reception. I went back to him with 1 ticket which on the tickets it shows 1 and 2 meaning y can get 2 . He told me to go back and get another one . 🤷🏻‍♂️ and laughed at me .
