Barceló Lanzarote Active Resort: Our Top Choice in Lanzarote! We absolutely loved our stay at Barceló Lanzarote Active Resort! This hotel is perfectly located right in the center of the island, which made it super easy to visit everything Lanzarote has to offer. The pools are great, and the staff were consistently pleasant and helpful. But what really stood out was the incredible quality of the buffet. It's honestly one of the best hotel buffets we've ever experienced, with an amazing variety of choices and truly high-quality products. Breakfast was equally impressive, with so many options, and everything was delicious. It's a fantastic choice for exploring Lanzarote – we highly recommend it!

I'm returning from this stay very satisfied overall, it's a very nice hotel with excellent reception. I have no comments on the room, it's fine, the restaurant is great with very accessible hours, the team works there perfectly. The gardeners pay attention to details. I thank the young animators who accompanied us during this week. Tim, Eva. Really very nice. We recommend choosing this hotel if you want to visit the island, beautiful excursions are organized there.

I’ve just got back from a 9 night stay here and overall I would recommend it. Upon arrival the queue was a long wait to check in. There was snacks and drinks available as we had late check in. The rooms were clean and we had a cot provided. Make sure you activate your key otherwise it won’t work. The all inclusive was generally okay and always something to eat. Breakfasts were the best meal. They have a gluten free corner throughout the day too. The chef came out and told me what had no dairy (lactose) in as my little boy is DF so this was great. The pools were chilly but warmed up throughout the day & we always got sunbeds. It’s a little out of the way from the shops and bars but only 5€ in a taxi. The entertainment was pretty rubbish and started quite late. Kids entertainment was just the usual. Staff were all friendly enough. Overall it was a lovely holiday.

I had a great stay at this hotel. Absolutely loved the design of my room and I had a sea view. Great customer service everyone was lovely. Drink on arrival. I really enjoyed the food as part of my all inclusive and was great to be able to get a drink whenever you wanted. Good entertainment/activities. Had an excellent experience highly recommend and I would stay there again!

I’ve stayed at a few all inclusive hotels and this is by far the best. The pool and surrounding area is top quality. A really nice touch is they don’t open the pool until 09:30, so no need to run to the pool super early. Not a huge amounts of vacant beds after 10:30. Complimentary towels are a really nice touch. Some lovely views of the sea. If I came back, I’d be tempted to go royal as it looks like a nice pool. Lots of entertainment in the day and on the evening. The main reception has the better bar but the evening entertainment is far better on the other side of the road, if you like a louder evening. For a chilled one, lots of seating available in the main building. Onto the best part… the food and drinks! The food is by far the best quality food I’ve ever seen at an all inclusive and the variety is amazing!! Fresh fish and meats every night. Lots of salad and sauces with a huge variety of deserts. Cruz campo on draft with lots of slushies in the day (alcoholic and normal) plus a few cocktails. The hotel as a whole is SUPER clean, well maintained and located right next to the sea. If day trips is what you like, lots available from right outside the front door. My wife even got a massage which is she said was amazing. Didn’t use the gym but looked huge with lots of equipment. Would return!
