We had a fantastic 8 night stay with four kids in a family suit all-inclusive. The hotel is spotlessly clean; we had our room cleaned to a high standard every day, and all communal areas are constantly being cleaned throughout the day. The food options are fantastic in both restaurants - you would be hard pushed not to find something suitable, although that said, staff can be slow to replenish during peak dinner times. The snacks available at the pool bars (free for all-inclusive) were really good quality burgers, salads, sanwiches, chicken wings etc. along with ice creams and slushies. Contrary to reports, we found the pools (at least one in each of the main areas in both sites, and we were not Royal Level) were heated and our kids were in them all day. The good weather all week was likely a factor in the temperature being agreeable. The entertainment across both sites at night time is fantastic, from acrobatics to magic to South African soul singers - really something for everyone, and high calibre/professional. We were surprised the all-inclusive wasn't just local spirits; they were fantastic choices available. The family suite, although spacious, could do with a door between the main bedroom and nook where bunk beds are located - all that's there at the minute is a strange blind/curtain, which doesn't afford much privacy. Yes, it's a 30 minute or so walk into Costa Teguise, but it is a beautiful coastal walk, and to be honest, we struggled to leave the resort as we are all very happy relaxing and using the facilities. Another big plus: only 15 minutes in a cab from the airport. There's a local shop on site which is fairly reasonable, and a Eurospar and Lidl within a 15 minute walk. All in all, a fantastic family holiday - would fully recommend.

Overall, a great experience. The hotel is about 3 kilometers south of the town and there's a lovely coastal path to walk or jogg along. It's a great location with seaviews and the ambience is relaxed and calming. The rooms, gym, dining room and food met our expectations. I've no hesitation in recommending this hotel. We needed some help during our stay and it's best to speak directly with the guest experience team. They were superb. The only reason this is a 4-star review is because the toilet facilities adjacent to the restaurant, specifically para los hombres, need to be renovated.

I was unsure about booking here having read variable reviews but wow I’m so glad I did! Absolutely loved the place. I travelled solo and requested a room in the main building (playa side) after booking direct. Room was huge, nice and clean, spacious balcony. The beds are honestly the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in on holiday. Staff are all super friendly. The gym and Olympic pool are incredible. I found dinner a bit repetitive but I believe this is standard in such big hotels, the choices were huge though. Evening entertainment was great too. My only slight annoyance is the sliding wardrobes are very loud and you can hear the neighbours ones through walls so if you’re a light sleeper take earplugs. It’s about a 25 min walk to centre of Costa Teguise but all along the seafront so lovely. For the price I paid and what I got for it, I would 100% recommend and I think I’ll come back next year!

It's a bit noisy and stressful, otherwise a good place to stay if you don't need a beach. Breakfast was good, dinner was not as good, but still okay. Not sure why it's called "Active Resort" there are not even Tennis courts. Probably because of the 50m pool. Most annoying thing was the noise level in the rooms, sometime constant noise, like door slamming from 6am on. To make it worse there is a waste glass container just behind one apartment block. The hotel is surrounded by streets, there is even a public street going strait through the middle of the hotel. Check-in started stressful, there was single person who had to handle all check-ins and the phone at the same time The buffet is a bit too crowded and for some reason most dishes are in pots with lids so everyone needs to open the lids first to see what's in it, that makes it even more crowded. But the quality and taste (except for the meats which was bad) was good overall. Rooms have no bathtubs and the shampoo dispenser stayed empty the whole time. At one sharp edge at my door frame I ripped a good t-shirt apart. Most ridiculous thing: There is a safe in the room, but you have to pay extra to use it, what a joke. Otherwise rooms were okay, enough space and nice terrace. Check-out was also a bit annoying: It's supposed to be 12am but the deactivate your room card earlier, what a genius who made that up.

Went a week with mainly focussing on sporting. The hotel is perfectly suited for triatletes but also for families. The hotel is located perfectly for cycling. Close to some climbing but also the possibility for more flat terrain. The hotel also offers storage for your bike. Bike rental is available next to the hotel and other companies nearby. The 50m pool is really nice. The food is also amazing. Will be coming back!
