Booked as part of a package holiday, however we were not told that we couldn’t check in till 3pm (this is the fault of the holiday operator not the hotel). Hotel itself is beautiful, some parts unused, the lower floors (unsure whether this is seasonal) Food was of good standard and quality, however did not appear that was much options for children within the upgrade. Wide range for adults, and snack bar pretty much served the same food daily, burgers, hot dogs, pancakes, small selection of sandwiches, chips and salad, some sweet cakes. We paid for upgrade and were meant to have a turn down service nightly, we did not get this, out of the 7 days we only had this twice. Which was a little disappointing. Views from the room were lovely, beds comfortable.

Really amazing holiday, the best one we have had so far! We are a young couple and enjoyed a both relaxing and busy holiday. The animation team are amazing and hardworking, they make everyone feel so included and honestly made our holiday. Solid entertainment a good variety. Great food selection especially the fusion restaurants they were incredible. Great bars and selection (we were not royal elite, maybe would next time if we came in school holidays.) 3 lovely pools which did get busier as half term started but still managed to get sun beds. The biggest thing was our flight wasn’t till 7pm and we weren’t able to get a late checkout. But instead were able to book a free room for half an hour to shower and refresh which made sure we had a full last day and didn’t cost us anything! The bar and restaurant staff were all so lovely even when it was busy, staff on reception were mainly nice a couple people could have been retrained on customer service but nothing major. Overall this holiday was amazing, we loved it from start to end and miss it already!

I don't normally leave a review however after spending a week here first week of June I would not recommend this hotel to a family. I don't feel this hotel is suitable for children. To many broken tiles to trip over near pool area. Leftover spills from drinks and ice-cream around the swimming area left there for days infant the whole week we were there. I tried to speak to the manager numerous times and kept been told by reception that the manager was not round today and they were unsure when the manager would be at the hotel. I have been to many hotels and this is definitely not one I would recommend. A very dated hotel and cleanliness not to a satisfactory level. Pool area needs new tiles and a proper clean. Some plates in dinning area had food stains still on them at times so check beforehand. Found bits of rubbish in rooms still from previous guests. Would I stay here again not a chance. Very dated, poor cleanliness, not enough staff in certain areas I.e bar areas as queue for drinks is long unless your happy with the drinks on tap.

First impression is very good. Food is fresh and tasteful. Only downside so far is the lack of 'towel management'. The rules are not enforced and to get a towel is a challenge. You can only get a towel after 1000 at the spa, which is - due to the lack of towel management - too late to find a free deckchair. There should be another option to get a towel earlier. Only 3 stars for service. I also have to reduce the overall rating from initially 4 stars to 2 stars. If you want to have a quiet holiday, don't go to this hotel. Several times a day very loud music is played during activities. The volume is way too high and is very disturbing for people who want to relax.

We booked this 4☆ as a family of 5 and it cost £6000 which to us is a lot of money and we really did expect 4☆. It's absolutely not 4 star! We feel it's more a 3. Very basic rooms which need updating Pool area floors and beds not clean Drinks not the best Food just average We just thought 4 star would be more luxurious 20 min walk to marina highly recommended, it's beautiful as is the marina Not really much around the hotel, it was too remote for us
