Absolutely loved this place. Onsite shop so reasonably priced. Lots of pools dotted around which u can go to regardless of which room you’re in. Aldi just out the back of the building (get a back door key at reception €10 deposit u get back). wouldn’t say it’s a downfall but the entertainment isn’t up to much but absolutely don’t affect anything else. Playa Blanca is stunning and we ended up out most nights with our children anyway! Booked back up for June and cannot wait ❤️

This is a great family resort for lower/medium budget families who want the experience of an all inclusive. We did not purchase that option however and chose to buy food for breakfast at the local market and store found in the resort which had competitive prices and great choice for its size. Rooms could be updated however the heated pools were great. I’d recommend this place to families.

I booked a 4 star hotel but I don’t think that’s what I got. The thing is that the exterior is lovely and it does offer a lot of space, nice and well maintained green areas, plenty of swimming pools, and entertainment. The staff is also helpful and kind. However, the apartments are another story and definitely not to a standard of a 4 star hotel - at least the one we were in. The sofa was falling apart, the vibe is outdated and sad, the bed was squeaky and felt like it will break and there were around 50 mosquitoes inside when we arrived. It felt more like a 2-3 stars max. They asked for a cash deposit for everything, I.e. iron, towels, card for an outside door closer to the town area. The AC wasn’t working as they turn it off in autumn and winter, but it was quite hot inside even if it was Oct-Nov 2025. The bathroom was old and had some wholes in the ceiling, the shower was kind of leaking bottom and top at the same time. The staff provided mosquitoes spray and apologised for the issue, which was kind. But I think the rooms need improvements like mosquitoes nets on the windows and doors, updated furniture and some refurbishing and redecorating. Otherwise the rooms were cleaned every day during our stay and as I said the outdoor area and the pools were nice and clean. There was entertainment for kids and grown ups and the sangria was quite good and drinks were just 2-3 euros which is very cheap nowadays anyway.

This is not my first trip to Lanzarote and I have already been to various hotels, but I am happy to recommend the THB Tropical Island hotel. The hotel is clean, well-kept house that I had, but also walking around the resort I noticed that it is cared for and cleaned by the staff. They are planning a trip to Lanzarote in March and I think I will return to THB Tropical Island, it will be my permanent place to relax. Breakfasts are rich in various dishes, everyone will find something for themselves. I didn't have lunch this time, but I think next time I'll choose the options with dinner. In the evenings, nice evenings are organized for guests, the price of drinks surprised and pleased me very much. It's a long way to the center, but it's not a problem for me, I always have a rented car when traveling.

Very nice for kids,but not all water playgrounds was open. Very cold water at the pools. (Not heating) At the room air conditioner was warming not cooling. Was dificult to sleep at nights… Can’t open the windows because of mosquitos. Wasn’t able to check out 1 h. later.. 6 year old girl stuck in the publick toilet by the pools beacause the handle of the doors stucked. (Couldn’t open the door and not beacause of lock,but because of old handle) We waited more than 30 min to let her out.. Well i think it’s nice hotel for price we paid,but very old,need renovation ..Animation for kids was very poor.. every day the same and instead of 1 h .ir was only 20~30 min. The coctails to sweet to drink because off sirup ,that they call juice..
