I stayed for one week with my 5-year-old. We had a great time! The room was very comfortable. The property is big but it doesn't feel like a mega-resort. All buildings are 2 stories only. The pools are refreshing and well-placed to see the beach but not have the usual pool noise be disruptive to other guests. The beach is spectacular (water, sand, and service). There are great excursions, helpful staff, and a friendly team at the kids club and spa. I left my daughter at the club a few times during our stay and she was always happy to go there to play with other kids and participate in the varietyof activities they had. The food at all the restaurants is varied for all tastes, and the ingredients are local and/or fresh. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a mix of relaxation, fun, and adventure! There were groups of all configurations here: solo travelers, couples, kids and parents, and extended family groups.

The Staff are amazing, very friendly, accommodating and happy for all to be involved in all activities. Cannot fault the service and the people. Housekeeping came twice a day and excellent. The activity team were brilliant and always smiling, ready to challenge in all the events. Food quality was exceptional, varied and nothing the same. Good choice and having other speciality restaurants on site made it good for changes in venue. Right on the beach with amazing long wide white sands.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful holiday at The Mora Zanzibar and can’t recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding — every member of staff we encountered was friendly, warm, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. A few individuals stood out in particular: • Steven made a real effort to check in with us during our stay, asking how he could make us feel even more welcome. He was incredibly polite and friendly, and even arranged for the chef to create special desserts just for us. • Chef Biswa personally greeted us and prepared incredible vegan desserts that weren’t even on the menu — his rhubarb vegan crumble was unforgettable! His kindness and creativity really left an impression. • Laura also went the extra mile, chatting to us about meal options, making thoughtful recommendations, and even sending some plantain to our room as a special treat. The premises and views were absolutely gorgeous — picture-perfect and so serene. As vegans, we were thrilled with the number of delicious options available at meals. Although there weren’t many vegan desserts on the buffet initially, the staff made a genuine effort to accommodate us once we mentioned it, which made us feel very cared for. During our stay, we also went snorkeling nearby — truly a spectacular experience and a must-do if you visit! Overall, The Mora Zanzibar is a gem. Amazing service, stunning surroundings, delicious food, and a team that genuinely wants to make your stay memorable. We can’t wait to return!

Great resort, very well maintained a lot of creativity all around, definitely one of the best vacation destinations..in addition I would like to recognize 3 staff members: ~ Clara at the front desk, great smile, efficient and always patient and ready with helpful tips, made us feel welcome. ~ Noel and Majira the waiters, were absolutely phenomenal. They were professional, attentive and friendly energy elevated every meal. They anticipated our needs without being intrusive and their knowledge of the menus made things easier. Dining felt more of a personalized experience than just a meal. These 3 staff members exemplify what true hospitality looks like. They went above and beyond to ensure every moment at The Mora was enjoyable and memorable..look for them when you are at The Mora…🙏🏾

Impressed from the word go...cant wait to see the extension. Hospitality and attention to detail was top notch. Check-in process was seamless, room was spotless, balcony view was okay, comfortable too. Standout features? almost everything, can hardly pick out....just refer to the pics. The amenities were awesome:clean pool, lounge with pool, table tennis etc. The staff consistently went above and beyond....whether it was helping us arrange transportation or just checking in to see if we needed anything. The resort combines luxury, comfort, and style. I can't recommend this resort enough and I'm already looking forward to the next stay.
