Came here on holiday to celebrate birthdays with two other couples. The property and staff exceeded all expectations. Roberto the General Manager is deeply invested in making sure his guests want for nothing. Nicole and Aisha in guest services clearly work hard to make sure people have a great experience. The food and drink, the rooms, the facilities were all superb, but the staff really are spectacular. Truly memorable experience and I highly recommend this resort.

Very good hotel. The most important thing is that despite the minor troubles that arose, the staff responded quickly and efficiently, very attentively. The managers are very focused on the client’s comfort, our requests were resolved very quickly and in the best way for us, we received satisfaction of all our requests, as well as a compliment from the hotel. In general, all the staff are very friendly and attentive, the quality of service is very high. The food is simply amazing, I have never seen such a variety of dishes anywhere. Very varied and incredibly tasty food. The restaurant a la carte was very nice! The hotel arranges dinners on the beach, very romantic and always a different and plentiful menu for absolutely every taste. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The ocean is gorgeous, best part of island, there is almost no low tide, there is a minimal number of local beach boys and the hotel controls that they do not nerve the guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel, and it was especially pleasant to communicate with the manager Juma. Hotel corresponds to standards. I highly recommend this hotel and if I come to Zanzibar again, my choice will definitely be Gold Zanzibar! We have visited several hotels in that area and this is the best one! Thanks for one of the best holidays!❤️ We felt very welcomed and happy there! ✨

Among the Italian travel agencies, this resort is really popular and I had highly expectations. Unfortunately since our arrival I have been disappointed. For a 5 stars hotel I would have expected a higher level of service and attention to details.
The room was clean but the food needed improvement. The buffet offered a wide choice of Italian cuisine, too bad some dishes were cold and lacked description. The beach would also be beautiful and relaxing, if it weren't for the Masai and other vendors who immediately attack you as soon as you approach the water ... not to mention the acrobats who pass by at least twice a day with their loudspeakers blasting music.
In conclusion, I do not recommend relying on the concierge of the resort as he sold us an activity but in the end it was completely different and we paid even more than necessary.
I am very disappointed as I expected much more from this resort for what I paid. I do not recommend it. The price is not worth the stay

It was a very memorable vacation in Zanzibar. The resort was incredibly nice, the beach beautiful, the ocean warm and clean! The food was really good and so varied!
Most of all though i need to elaborate on the staff at the resort!
From Happiness and Hawa in the dining room, to Ibrahim and Ajden at the Bar, to Nicola & Ally at guest services all the way up to Roberto as GM. (Please forgive if I forgot to mention someone personally) Every single person we had interaction with was gracious, helpful, super friendly, polite and generally great people. We treasure their friendships!

1. Room
The room is nice and big, we got the sea view villa. The room has its own swimming pool and its own private place to sit on the beach, which is great.
2. Service
The service is great, people are nice and friendly.
3. Location
The beach is the nicest place on the island. The water is turquoise blue and the sand nearly white. You don‘t have ebb or tide, its all day nice for a swim.
4. Hotel
The hotel is very nice, a big swimming pool enough deck chairs for all people, when you are in the villa you have your own private part on the beach and private deck chairs.
5. Conclusion
The price-performance ratio is therefore correct, its a dream to be there
6. Food
The main place to eat is a buffet, food was always very good. But for this price it should also be possible to eat „a la carte“ thats the only missing star.
