Exceptional Stay in Zanzibar Our experience at Lux hotel was truly exceptional. The staff were incredibly welcoming and always attentive, ensuring that every detail of our stay was perfect. It is rare nowadays to find such genuine and well-orchestrated hospitality — everything felt effortless yet thoughtfully taken care of. Bravo to the entire team for making our time here so memorable. Fantastic boutique hotel. Everything you want and more! Love spending time on the beach watching the tides come in and go out. The hotel offers a beach walk some 600m at low tide into the ocean to see marine life. Only downside is entire family got sick while here. Everything seems clean and the food well prepared.

The hotel is very good, lovely beach, set back enough to keep separated from the public access area, whilst close enough to get immediate access. The rooms are well kept and the service is excellent. The food is very tasted, and the chefs are willing to accommodate changes.

It's a great hotel. All the staff were fantastic. The food was great as we're the drinks. The pool was nice. The beach was stunning, with the warm Indian ocean providing a nice backdrop. Every evening, the restaurant had a different entertainment and food theme. Stunning. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

From the drive down to the gates to the entrance and reception area, everything was stunning. We were excellently received, and we felt instantly welcomed by the yum hibiscus and cold towel. The dining area was by the beach, which was dreamy. We couldn't wait to enjoy an afternoon swim in the ocean as well as in the see-through, stunning pool. All the staff were super helpful and the best was the rooms! It was so beautiful, and if i could, I would stay a whole week and more. We were truly spoilt and will definitely be back.
