An amazing hotel by the stunning beach in Nungwi! I liked that the rooms where spread around i two-floor buildings across the beautiful garden. The junior suite was spacious and very nice with a big bathroom. Everything was so clean and the bed was decorated nicely with flowers every day. The service was outstanding and everyone greated us with a friendly big smile and saying Jambo (means Hi) all the time. Everyone did, from the staff in the reception, the gardners, employees in the restaurants, waitresses by the pool and in the bars and the cleaning staff. The "public" toilets at the resort is always cleaned, seriously all the time! The food was various, very tasty and with a lot of fantastic fruit and vegetables. The entertainment in the evening was great, especially the impressiv dancers from Nungwi and Stone Town! A short stair led down to the stunning beach and the view from the pool area and the main restaurant was so beautiful. We also went on some really great excursions, Prison Island and Stone Town, a beautiful catamaran trip to Mnemba with snorkling and an amazing safari to Tanzania. We loved our two weeks so much. We would love to come back to Riu Palace.

A truly wonderful hotel with an incredible atmosphere. The staff was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and attentive — you really feel cared for from the moment you arrive. The food was absolutely delicious, with great variety and beautifully prepared meals every day. Everything felt high quality and thoughtfully done. Overall, a fantastic resort with great service, amazing cuisine, and a relaxing vibe. Highly recommended — a truly memorable experience!

Great hotel with excellent and courteous staff from all level. Food quality is excellent as well as the variety. The buffet served great quality with great variety for all meals. They also have in addition three specialties restaurants with great quality. Rooms are big, very clean and the cleaning staff are quick and efficient. Nice clean beach with a variety of water sports included with the room. Excellent location and I highly recommend this hotel.

Our flight was delayed so we arrived at night. They supported us with the rooms we requested as we were there to celebrate my husbands 70th Birthday. In all we had a great time. The food, service, cleanliness of the resort was superb. Narayan in the dining hall took very good care of us and made sure my grand daughter had bland food made for her which I appreciate. Lorena too helped us with a late check out. Basically all the staff were good and kind and friendly. I would highly recommend Riu Palace for anyone wanting to go there. Thank you

The best Hotel on Zanzibar, as it can hardly be better :-) A very beautiful and large parc, just like in paradise. Nice beach, tasty and verious food in restaurants, beautiful suits, everything is very clean. The staff is fantastic! Very friendly and helpful: every question will be answered and every problem will be solved immediately. The only one thing which was „too much“ for me was to be asked every 5 Minutes „how was your day? How did you sleep“ and so forth. Sometimes I wanted to ware a T-shirt with a signature „I was already asked, thank you“, or sometimes even with „stop asking!!!“ :-) But in general a very professional and nice staff. Especially I want to thank to Martin and Helen from the Restaurant „Promenade“, to Maria at the reception and to Veronica in the Spa for her very good massage. It would be better if the Hotel would return to it‘s previous concept for adults only. Luckily there were not a lot of kids during my stay but still this kind of Hotel is predestinated to be only for adults.
