Our second visit was as wonderful as our first. Royal level is definitely worth the upgrade. The addition of the royal lounge this year was very nice. Thank you to eyleen Garcia for wonderful service. The pools open at 9:30 and there is a huge queue as there are very little umbrellas. I didn’t mind queueing as I was up early. Location wise it’s at the very start of Costa teguise so approx 30 minute walk into the main area/square. We enjoyed the hotel in the evenings so it didn’t bother us. Alberto and Neli were so helpful to us in getting our perfect room.

Nice location, friendly and attentive staff. Definitely worth the upgrade to Royal Level. Rest of the hotel is nice, but quite crowded. Drinks and food in the royal level a better choice and quality without a doubt.

We had a wonderful time at Barceló. The stand out were the staff at the hotel who were all so friendly, helpful and attentive. Especially Eyleen García who made sure our daughter, who turned one while there, had the best meal times. No mess she made was too much for the brilliant staff at the restaurant. We also loved the care and pride all the staff seemed to take of their work and the hotel itself- the resort is kept impeccably tidy. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Absolutely enjoyed my stay here at Royal Level. Royal Level is slightly more expensive than Royal Activity and has its own special section including restaurants and swimming pools. Loved the heated pool and the breakfast and dinners are amazing… honestly better than most local restaurants.. every single staff member has been so nice and welcoming. I would absolutely come back and would like to check out other Barcelo resorts all around the world 🌎

We wasted 2000 pounds GBP for a week. A truly crappy hotel, no more than a 2-star hotel. My wife was cold the entire week we were there, and we couldn't turn off the air conditioning because it would automatically turn on after being unplugged, illuminating the entire room with its green light. The entire room also smelled like sewage, even though we were on the 7th floor. We asked to change rooms, but they refused, even though the entire 7th floor was empty, because all the rooms had the same problem. The bathroom door also doesn't close and was warped. The food at the Royal Level restaurant is full of flies, and if you change to the Active restaurant, it's even worse. The service is terrible. They don't know how to serve wine; they pour it over when they serve it, don't apologize, and don't clean up the spill. All in all, a crappy hotel. The nearest sandy beach is a half-hour walk from the hotel.
