If you are expecting a 5* hotel then you will be disappointed. This is more a 3* or 4* hotel. The rooms are ok, clean and fairly spacious.
Breakfast is a canteen style experience. Lots of stressed staff running around, clanging plates and knives. We didn’t enjoy the restaurants/breakfasts.
Staff are not trained to deliver 5* service. Restaurant staff were rude on our first day, and it was poorly managed when we raised it. We ended up avoiding the breakfast as much as possible.
There is construction going on but weren’t warned if this, and in addition the adult pool was closed for maintenance. We were assured it would open before we left but that didn’t happen.
Staff training and communication is probably the biggest issue with this hotel. I don’t recommend booking here. There are other hotels we stayed in with the same price and rating that were exceptional. I wouldn’t go to this hotel again.

First of all the rooms are nice and clean but the whole hotel feels old because it is old, it should be a 4 star hotel not 5 star. The breakfast is good but there is a limited selection of food and it does not change everyday. However they have a chief that makes any type of egg you want. The hotel is undergoing maintenance which was very disturbing and loud. when you open the window the view is also disturbed by the construction.
The most disappointing thing in the whole hotel is the valet service, they are very rude not all of them only two or three of them, I forgot to take their names and report them. They were very ignorant and rude. They only wanted to take the car and go, when I ask them about something they ignore me and got inside the car and drove away.

The staff, especially Victoria, went above and beyond to make our special day perfect. Victoria's attention to detail and friendly demeanor made a significant difference. Stayed here with my family in April 2021, and it was a great experience! We loved the pool, water slides, and beach. The service was great, and when we expressed concerns about the buffet breakfast due to COVID, the staff took us to a special private dining room on the club floor and served us breakfast there. I stayed at this hotel under the previle program and not once. I liked everything, a large gym, excellent service in bars, on the beach, even stayed with my husband for a buffet dinner. Everything is very good. But last weekend I took off the rings in the women's dressing room to put cream on my face. Of course I forgot. But what was my disappointment when I did not find them in place! Didn't your mother teach you as a child that taking someone else's is a sin? Especially gold. I also believe that a person will come to his senses and give the find to the staff, because it's better late than never) all the best and the most pleasant memories of Dubai.
