What a great hotel for families! Excellent location - there is a large market close to the hotel some days of the week, a promenade on the beach, a 7/11 close by. The rooms - were well maintained, clean, huge (we had a kitchenette with a microwave, refrigerator and all the necessary kitchen utensils). There were activities for children, a playground, huge pools that never felt crowded. And the breakfast was very rich and varied (it is recommended to taste the local desserts). All the hotel staff were very helpful, welcoming and I would especially mention Kob who helped us a lot and was very nice to us.

Very satisfied with our stay and would likely return. Proactive and friendly service. For example, AC and lighting were fixed before we even noticed an issue. Fast check-in/out and a nice welcome with coconut water. Rooms were clean, spacious, and quite well maintained. Big pool area with lots of activities for kids. Most staff were very friendly and always smiling. However, communication was occasionally difficult due to language barriers. We were pleasantly surprised by the food at Som’s Kitchen. We had Thai food there every day for lunch. Good quality and fairly priced. A wider wine selection would be a nice improvement, though. Breakfast was solid, though a broader exotic fruit selection would be appreciated. Great location near the night market and the beach. However, getting to Kamala center can feel a bit more complicated than expected, despite being close as the crow flies. Overall a very good stay and a strong choice for families.

We stayed in the hotel for 10 nights. We very liked it. Breakfast was tasty with many things to choose from. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms good size and housekeeping worked very well. 8 swimming pools, sunbeds always available next to the pool. International guests ( many from EU ). Generally speaking nice family hotel.

We have just come back from 2 weeks in thailand. Our second week was spent at the sunwing kamala hotel. The hotel itself is lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we did have some issues with our room though. 2 nights in a row we had air con issues. The first night it tripped out the electric at about 230 in the morning. The second night the air con kept going on and off so we had to call the staff again. Then we had an issue where the key card slot for the electric kept turning the electric on and off. The door handle on the outside was lose so it had to be pulled back to get the door to open. We had aircon issues again on the night before our last night where the aircon decided to leak water all over the floor. These things happen but it was disappointing when the rest of the hotel was so nice.

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Sunwing in a beautiful beachfront villa, we highly recommend anyone stay here. The rooms are clean, modern and spacious. The breakfast is excellent with everything you could ask for. The 8 hotel pools to choose from are all fantastic. The location can't be beaten, with the beach and beach bars right out the front. We loved our stay and will definitely return. Special thanks to Ebelyn and the team for going above and beyond to make our stay super comfortable. Thank you so much!
