From the moment we stepped off the pier we were greeted by Oh who drove us to the hotel on the back of his tractor which was such fun and started off the most incredible 3 day vacation of our time in Thailand. We were greeted by such friendly and hospitable staff in a beautiful reception area and then transported by golf cart all the way to the sunset pool room. Wow! What an exquisite room with a gorgeous view. The room was comfortable, clean, spacious and a few steps away from the Sunset bar and infinity pool. The various pools at the resort are all a must to see and swim. We loved the food, drinks and the location is perfect! Removed from the chaos of Ton Sai but close enough to get there if you want to experience it. We highly recommend!

We went there during rain season and were very lucky with the weather. It was very quiet and just a handful of people staying at the resort. The staff was very friendly, especially Sun, Lemon and O (Mario) were always helping with good tips and advice. We had an amazing vacation and were able to relax. The beach is perfect there and going to snorkel at the resorts beach offers a broad variation of corals and different fish.

Set in a remote corner of Phi Phi, this resort is a remarkable feat of construction and location. The jungle-fringed grounds are vast and atmospheric, with frogs serenading the paths by night and even the occasional python sighting to spice up your stroll. The beach is idyllic—peaceful, coral-rich, and home to the best snorkeling we encountered in southern Thailand. The infinity pool is beautifully positioned, just steps from the sea, and we spent two blissful days drifting between saltwater and poolside. The breakfast buffet has range and charm, and overall, the place exudes laid-back island life. But it also feels, at times, like a budget hotel in disguise. Details are missed: mugs and kettles in the rooms, but no coffee sachets; bins left to overflow; poolside towels requiring a cross-campus trek and vanishing by morning. The astroturf around the infinity pool is worn and joyless, and the early towel return time is baffling. The breakfast area becomes gridlocked thanks to an underwhelming coffee setup—few machines, endless queues, and no real urgency to fix it. Room features like stiff curtains add to a sense that the place could be vastly improved by someone simply walking around each day with a critical eye and a checklist. A stunning location that delivers on beauty and tranquility—but the experience could be transformed with better care, oversight, and coffee.

Overall- the experience was amazing. This resort is away from the hustle of the mainland and is very quiet. It’s perfect for people who want to connect with nature, swim peacefully in the private beach, snorkel and soak in the peace of the surrounding areas. We stayed for 4 days at the resort and it was lovely. We took the pool villa- the view was great and barring some old wear and tear room (walls pealing off due to humidity and slight cracks in the mirror), the room was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and spacious, beach bag was provided which was considerate and the bed was comfortable. The cons / areas of improvement need to be considered since you are paying a fair bit for the experience- The breakfast options were limited and remained the same for the entire duration. It got boring and the food was average for the price. The sausages were kept in boiling water and not grilled / shallow fried. The quality of the sausages weren’t great either especially considering the small restaurant next door served amazing grilled sausages. We ate at the hotel a few times but found it very underwhelming. The drinks / cocktails were average as well for the price. Also- the resort does not provide shuttle services to Tonsai Pier (which is the mainland in Phi Phi where Ferry will stop and has lots of good options for food). You need to take a speed boat or long tail boat which is expensive. You pay 1000-1200 Bhat for a 30 min ride one way. The resort only had one option for shuttle which left at 7;45 am and left at 3:45 pm from tonsai which doesn’t make sense. The good - The staff was great and did their best to make our stay comfortable. Shout out to Sung/Song (so sorry for misspelling the name) who always greeted us with a smile and genuinely enquired about our day. We did the island tour from the hotel and got a good deal. We paid 2800 Bhat for the 4 island private tour which we felt was a steal. Overall, we had a good time, the beach was great with little to no people around (June 2025), and would come back again.

Great location, friendly staff. However the reason for my rating is a serious problem. The food is not prepared with allergies in mind. After booking for the sunset restaurant, which seems quite unpopular, we were assured the vegetarian option would be safe for consumption with a shellfish allergy. After requesting the mild version of the meal, it came very spicy, in addition to this, we experienced an allergic reaction to the food consistent with a shellfish allergy. So if you have food allergies beware! This is the main reason for my low rating as this is a serious issue. The second minor complaint is that there are no shower curtains in the room, so naturally the whole bathroom floor gets wet, the shower head as well is very old and does not function optimally. Other than that the location is amazing and very friendly staff. The beds were very comfortable.
