Stayed at this hotel 4 nights and wow, the staff are the most unhelpful, and unfriendliest I have ever encountered. Everything we asked of them, their initial response was that they cannot help. We encountered no willingness to help, and lies too. Because a few moments later, their response would change and could “sort of” help. Example: the lobby has a coffee station but it was dirty and no clean spoons. I asked for a clean spoon and they said “Sorry, no clean spoons” - why then have a coffee station at the lobby? Why not go get a clean one from the kitchen? Surely there is one clean spoon in this whole hotel. But they just did not want to help us with any request made. This is a small example of MANY that occurred during our stay. Shocking service. So unfriendly. Will never be back.

When we arrived in Thailand Phuket we stayed at a very nice Hotel and received such a friendly welcome the staff were amazing and the service was great.
However we decided to take a few more days and explore and happened to stay at Krabi LA Playa Resort to our surprise the people and service was a shocker of note and very unaccomodating and rude 😒 there is no ambience when eating breakfast and having trainees doing the egg service was not good as they seemed confused when you ordered eggs etc.
Tables were not reset on turnover no forks and knives available etc.Krabi Town is great and awsome but the people in general are not the same as in Phuket when it comes to service and friendliness.
We will be coming back to Thailand for another visit but will give.La Playa Krabi Resort a miss.

Our travel agency chose this hotel to spend one night here during our Thailand tour. Pros: the room was big, clean and modern, with a huge bathroom. Also, the Night Market and the city center are nearby. Cons: the kitchen is not vegetarian-friendly. For one breakfast it was fine as I could choose egg, fruit or cereal, but there was nothing meatless for dinner. We ate out.

SERVICE-excellent hospitality! All staff were friendly, accommodates every requests. We checked out the usual time, our flight was in the evening and they let us use one room to shower before our flight. They also let us use the pool after checking out. Thanks to the lady at the reception who made everything possible. Took a picture of her name tag because I am sure I will not remember:)
