This looks great on the outside, but it shows it's age on the inside a little bit. The furniture is old-style, but definitely functional. On the plus side, the room was enormous and the bed took half that space. I think there two king-size beds next each other. And the mattress was fantastic; I had the best sleep there. Shower was great with both walk-in and bath tub, but somehow the hot water had more pressure that cold. As for location, there were times when the air didn't smell so good, most likely from the nearby river and/or indian restaurants vis-a-vis, but in the evening it was all right. It is close to some markets in the area and the beach is 10 minutes away. We went to the other side at Ao Nang with scooter tul-tuk and it costs 100 baht. Definitely worth staying here of the bed and the quiet at night. During the day you can stay at pool, but most likey go out to visit. If anything else, there is also Centara Resort.

We had a great time staying here for 4 days in December and January. Our kids absolutely loved the Kids Club (special thanks to the great staff - Namham, Da, and Pam, who were so kind and patient with the children) and they wanted to go every day. The pool was also nice, and we enjoyed morning activities like stretching and Yoga lead by In. The breakfast buffet was also very good, and most days they had an extra station making different kinds of local street food. The location is about a 10 minute walk from Ao Nang beach, but we actually liked it better with fewer crowds and nearby stores that were cheaper than the ones on the beach. All the staff were nice and friendly, and the hotel is clean and well maintained.

Our Centara stay was really unforgettable! The hotel itself had a beautiful atmosphere. The pool was lovely and my partner loved the basketball hoop in it. We had 2 meals and a cocktail a day included in our stay. The food and drinks were delicious. A special mention to the beautiful staff that made our stay extra special - Meen, Nam, Pin, Nas, Wawa small, Chompoo, JeeJe and Kim. Thankyou for being so kind, attentive and helpful - catering to our every need and request.

The hotel is in a great location, only 15min walk from Ao Nang beach. We had a swim up room (4108) which provided sun onto the sun loungers mid afternoon and easy access into the pool. The room was very clean and provided all the amenities required. Breakfast was excellent, with live egg station, fresh local fruit. Service was very good and always cleaned up the table after finishing your food. The front desk team (sorry can’t remember names) were all helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much for them! The hotel also has a fitness room, with two treadmills, cross trainer and free weights. Clean and opens 6am every morning. Lastly, loads restaurants (mainly Indian) outside the hotel as well as laundrette, 7-11 and massage places. Overall we had an excellent stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

The kids club was super amazing. First of all, it is included in the price. Second, they will attend to your children as long as you (as parents) are still on the property. We were lucky that no other kids/parents were there, so it was basically a free nanny service!!! Also, these ladies Namhom, Pam and Da did such a spectacular job with our children, dancing, laughing … even though our kids don’t speak a lot of English!!! The property in general is very well maintained. For example: they have so much plants and greenery and these plants obviously lose leaves all the time. You will see almost no leaves on the ground, highlighting the degree of maintenance around the property. Wawa the bartender is super smiley and very committed to great service. We also used the tour booking service and feel we got a great deal for a private boat to Phi Phi for a day excursion. Boat 25 with captain Men and crew member Gobi from “Choi Wanlapa” boat company really took care of our family super well. Just a few suggestions for improvement: - the free billiards game is great, but it is missing a few balls and the cue sticks also need replacement. - the elevator to 3302 seems dangerous: the doors close very fast and the mechanism to stop the doors from closing if something is in between, doesn’t respond fast enough. Would recommend a mechanic to look at this. - would be great if the pool water could be a little warmer The reason for 3 stars for location is that with a family, you pretty much need local transport to go anywhere, including the main Ao Nang beach.
