Fantastic Stay at Avani Cliff Resort – Highly Recommended! We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Avani Cliff Resort, and it exceeded all our expectations from start to finish. Nestled in a stunning location, the resort offered breathtaking views and a relaxing atmosphere that made our getaway perfect. The staff stood out as the highlight—they were incredibly helpful, attentive, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Whether it was arranging activities, providing local tips, or handling special requests, their warm service made all the difference. A special shoutout to the breakfast spread, which was nothing short of excellent! The variety, freshness, and flavors were top-notch. Huge congratulations to Chef Sanjay and his talented team for creating such memorable meals that kicked off our days on a high note. From the comfortable rooms to the beautiful grounds, everything was spot on. We’d 100% recommend Avani Cliff Resort to anyone seeking a seamless, enjoyable escape we’ll definitely be back!

Rooms were ok, a bit old. We got the superior room which had view listed as amenities, but we got a view only to the parking lot. When we asked reception about this, they mentioned that the bathtub on the balcony is a bonus for this room to be considered superior. But who would want to stay in a bathtub, 1m next to the parking lot? In any case it was better than the normal Avani rooms since those are near the road and there is too much noise there. Food was ok for breakfast. Pool is very very nice, a bit cold, but with great views. Staff was ok, helpful and quick. We got a gift a bottle of wine and some fruits when we arrived, which was nice. Also everyday we got enough water refills. For the New Years Eve dinner there was a tombola and champagne glasses were given or spa entries, or other things. The entry to the spa was available only for the low season - what are the chances I would come again back then? It was worth ~40usd anyway, but why cheap out on that like that, since we paid for the rooms more than 300USD and just the NYE dinner was ~100 per person. Better without this "gift", or something that would have been available immediately to be able to enjoy

Excellent service all around! From checking in to checking out, we had a great experience. The room was clean with all the things you need ( fridge, water, slippers ) and the view was excellent beyond words. The breakfast buffet was top notch, with a wide variety of foods starting with local Thai dishes to continental breakfast. Servers and chefs at the buffet were very attentive and customer service was unparalleled like I’ve never seen before! Overall 10 out of 10 would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Avani Ao Nang Beach Resort. The property is beautifully maintained, the location is excellent, and the overall experience was extremely comfortable and relaxing. A special mention to Ice, who assisted us during check-in — the process was smooth, welcoming, and very well handled. Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. Sanjay and Pine took great care of us every morning — they were attentive, polite, and always made sure we were comfortable. Their hospitality truly added a personal touch to our experience. Thank you to the entire Avani team for making our stay memorable. We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Ao Nang.

The location is fantastic, only a short walk to Ao Nang Beach and with lots of bars, restaurants and shops nearby. Getting transport from the hotel was extremely easy, though most places are within walking distance. The views from the hotel are lovely, looking out over the bay, and the sunsets from the rooftop bar are incredible. The rooms are lovely and a good size, and the housekeeping staff do a fantastic job making sure the rooms are always fresh and clean. Despite so many bars on the road and nearby, we had no issues with noise at night and found the hotel to be very peaceful. The restaurant and the pools are also great - we ended up eating at the hotel multiple nights during our stay because the food was excellent! Overall the best thing about the hotel is the staff. Though the hotel itself is lovely, the staff are what really make it. Every member of staff you meet is friendly, welcoming, smiley and very eager to help. We loved our stay here predominantly because of how brilliant everyone was. Only one thing about the hotel that was not a negative for us but may be for other people - this hotel is not the most accessible if you have friends or family in wheelchairs. Though there are elevators in each building to avoid the steps, you would struggle to comfortably fit a wheelchair with multiple carers/family members inside.
