We had an absolutely wonderful time! The property is ideally situated with loads of eating joints along the street. 5 min walk to the beach. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Ideal for families with kids. Great breakfast buffet. Chef Sanjay had an array of Indian dishes well prepared so we didn’t miss home. Wide variety of the local and western cuisine. The infinity pool experience was awesome. Weather played a bit of a damper. The ladies of the restaurant were always welcoming and with a smile especially Milk, Nutty and Pine. Thank you all for a wonderful holiday. Will surely be back soon!

The hotel is not really a four star property. At best it feels like a three star hotel. The staff is very friendly, helpful and efficient, the pool view is beautiful and the location is very central. These are the main positives. However, the hotel is old, worn out and not updated. There was an unpleasant smell throughout our stay. The room had a constant musty and damp smell, the staircase to the lobby had a sewage smell, and the breakfast area had a strong unpleasant odor as well. The layout is also very confusing. You need to take several elevators, stairs and bridges to reach the higher floor rooms. Rooms on the lower floors facing the street have a lot of noise, even late at night. Overall, it is a decent and central hotel with good service for anyone looking for something simple with a nice pool view. But if you are looking for a high quality and pampering stay, you should think twice because of the poor condition of the hotel.

Great hotel/resort! The loocation is ideal, very walkable to the entire Ao Nang shopping and dining scene and Ao Nang beach. The room is spacious and comfortable. The huge breakfast buffet is diverse and delicious. The staff were very gracious and kind. We were surprised on our last day when they located us in the breakfast room and brought a beautiful piece of cake, knowing that we were departing.

Exceptional Service at Avani. Thanks to Nathy, Milk, and Chef Sanjay! I recently stayed at the Avani Hotel and had a great experience thanks to the wonderful team there. From the moment I arrived, Nathy and Milk made me feel genuinely welcome with their warm smiles, great attention to detail, and a level of care that elevated my stay. A special mention to Chef Sanjay, whose dishes were absolutely fantastic. Every meal was delicious, beautifully presented, and prepared with clear passion. His caring style was one of the highlights of my stay. Thanks to Nathy, Milk, and Chef Sanjay for making my time at Avani memorable.

SOSHIGAYA BASE

The hotel consists of three buildings lined up from the front toward the hill. If you stay in the front building where the reception is located, it might be a bit noisy at night because it faces the lively main street. We stayed in a sea-view room in the second building. From the room’s terrace, we could see the ocean and the Krabi-style cliffs, which made for a wonderful view. The room was generally clean, although the stains on the sofa and the somewhat weak water pressure in the shower were a bit concerning. As for the location, there is a McDonald’s, Starbucks, 7-Eleven, and a pharmacy right next door. It’s about a five-minute walk to the pier for boats to Railay Beach. There are many restaurants and massage shops within walking distance, which is very convenient. A supermarket was also about a 10-minute walk away. For breakfast, they offered egg dishes and noodles cooked to order, which were very tasty. The staff’s service was also excellent. On the last day, they surprised us with a cake. With its proximity to the main street and its overall good location, it’s a very nice hotel. I would love to stay here again when I visit Krabi!
