Good hospitality….. ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Great Stay with Minor Improvements Needed I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel overall. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable bedding and modern amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always ready to assist with any requests. The location is also a big advantage, making it easy to access nearby attractions, restaurants, and transportation. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of options and everything tasted fresh. The only minor downside was that the check-in process took a bit longer than expected, and the Wi-Fi connection in the room could be more stable. However, these were small issues compared to the overall positive experience. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, good service, and a convenient location. I would happily stay here again.

Unprofessional staff Waited for an hour to check in because online tickets couldn’t be found Was later denied visitation blatantly to my female friend’s room, and they said it was policy. There is in fact no mention of this in the policy. Visit was during the afternoon. Lacking a staff member at the entrance . Wanted water and the staff in the hotel told me to talk to the person at the entrance. There was no one and I had to walk a great distance to the nearest supermarket to get water.

Very disappointing experience. Despite booking and paying two days in advance, I waited over an hour at reception to receive my room due to poor organization and lack of staff. Our luggage was also removed from the trolley and left elsewhere just to use the trolley for another guest. At night, there was no parking available, and even the valet parking was full. When I asked the manager for a solution, he told me to park anywhere and said the hotel was not responsible. Very unprofessional service and definitely not a hotel experience I would repeat.

I had a truly pleasant stay at the Metropolitan Hotel Dubai. The hotel offers a perfect balance of comfort, cleanliness, and excellent service — ideal for both business and leisure travelers. The staff were consistently polite, attentive, and professional, always ready to help with a smile. My room was spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable, providing everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location is also great — easily accessible, close to Sheikh Zayed Road, and convenient for reaching both downtown Dubai and the Marina area. Overall, Metropolitan Hotel Dubai offers exceptional value and genuine hospitality. I’d definitely recommend it and will be happy to stay here again on my next visit to Dubai.

The metropolitan is a two storey hotel next to the Dubai highway. It is an older hotel for the city but is well maintained, clean and peaceful. It has an on-site pub called the Red Lion which has a reasonable range of beers, wines and spirits. Depending on your room, it can be a bit of a trek from the lifts. The room control panel and AC is intuitive but make sure the master switch is on before you close your door. AC can be a bit chilly but can be turned off easily. Breakfast was acceptable given the wide range of guests expected but I missed Western breakfast. Check-in a little involved but checkout simple. All in all, an enjoyable stay.
