We recently stayed at D’Andrea Mare Beach Hotel and overall had a very enjoyable experience. Positives: The rooms were spacious, modern, and very clean — a real plus for families or couples looking for comfort. The restaurant offered a wide variety of delicious food, with something different every day, and the quality was consistently high. The staff were always friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Areas for Improvement: While the facilities were generally good, we did notice that the pool area could use more frequent cleaning, especially during busy times. The beach area also seemed to lack regular maintenance, which took away from the otherwise beautiful seaside setting. One important issue is the lack of supervision at the pool — unfortunately, some guests ignored the rules, jumping dangerously into the water near small children and rinsing sandy feet directly in the pool. Having a lifeguard or staff member present would definitely help ensure safety and respect for the shared space. In summary, we had a great holiday and would recommend the hotel, especially for the comfort, food, and hospitality — with just a few improvements, it could be excellent.

We had a really nice time during our stay. The staff were kind and everything went smoothly. Thank you for the great experience! However, we noticed that the beach was dirty and not very well maintained. The loungers and the access to the beach could use some renovation to improve comfort and overall experience. A special thanks to Spider, who was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay and also performed an amazing fire show! He truly made our visit even more enjoyable.

Everything is more or less is good for a price we paid. One week for two persons mid range room cost around 1.7k euro. Food was good. But all day planes are flying to airport above the hotel. At night less traffic at skye. Isolation from sound of the room is bad. So if u like to have a nice sleep. Please use ear plugs. Internet is 3/10 if u playing online games. 6/10 if u streaming something.

Room: We got an upgrade and had a very nice room with an awesome view from the balcony. Room was clean upon arrival and cleaned every day. However, the shower is a bit small, so after showering the bathroom floor was completetly wet each evening. Staff: The staff was very nice, welcoming and often up for a nice chat :) Food and Drinks: The food was good/average with a decent selection. The drinks on the other hand were awful. The mai tai was blue… and the the cocktails were overall too sweet and weak. We ended up going to the beach bar next to the hotel to drink cocktail and beer each evening. The still water served at the poolbar and dinner was also not enjoyable - I believe it was tap water (tasted like poolwater). But they had decent sparkling water. The coffee was also not great (i think it was some kind of instant coffee) Ambient: The music was not our taste but the animation team was giving their best and they were all very nice. Evening shows were good and there was smth else each day. I guess if you have kids the ambience and pool is nice - for us as a couple it was a bit to noisy and overstimulating. Beach: The beach is great if you like windsurfing. Swimming and snorkling is not really enjoyable as the waves a pretty high. The sunbeds at the beach were not the best especially in comparison to the sinbeds at the pool (but these were all taken by latest 8 am and as said at the pool it was very loud and the music was not great) Overall, it was a decent experience - but we were lucky to have a car with which we could escape the hotel from time to time.

We stayed at D'Andrea Mare in Rhodes in early August. While the hotel had many positive aspects, our stay was unfortunately defined by significant issues with our room. 🔹 The Good: The food was delicious and varied, with many local options that we enjoyed. The hotel grounds were beautiful and spacious, with free-form pools, water slides, and a lazy river that were a lot of fun. There were plenty of sunbeds on the well-maintained lawn, which was a nice touch. The animation team did a great job, creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere with various activities. The massage service was fantastic—one of the highlights of our stay! I appreciate that the hotel has a sauna and indoor pool available for a fee of €10 per person, which is a great option. The staff were also generally friendly and helpful. 🔹 The Bad (Room 340): Our room was old and in need of renovation. We were particularly concerned about a major security flaw with the door. There was a large gap that allowed a plastic card to be used to bypass the security lock and open the door in just a few seconds. We reported this to the reception, and although a technician came and said he would install a new lock, he never returned. This left us feeling very unsafe. Housekeeping was also inconsistent. We had to ask for hand soap for two days, and after it was finally refilled, the shower gel was not. The mattress on our bed was stained and dirty with what appeared to be blood. The bathroom fixtures were in poor condition—the sink was cracked and grimy, the toilet was dirty, and the shower head was old. Additionally, the balcony was visibly dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in several weeks. For the last two days of our stay, the air conditioning unit stopped working correctly, cycling between cold and hot air and keeping the room at an unpleasantly warm 28°C. ⸻ 🏁 Overall: While D'Andrea Mare has many good qualities, our experience was seriously impacted by the poor condition and security issues of our room. The lack of a proper solution for the door, along with the hygiene and maintenance problems, made our vacation unsatisfactory. The hotel should address these fundamental issues to provide a consistent quality of stay for all its visitors.
