Fantastic family vacation location! Seriously. Kids Club with various activities and you can drop older kids off and pick them up for lunch or after afternoon activities. Amazing views and Splash Island water obstacle course was a blast! We did all-inclusive and kids ate free. Good, but slow (Island style) service. Rooms are a bit dated, but do the job. Don’t expect the Ritz, but it is an amazing, relaxed vibe and incredible views. We absolutely loved Bay Gardens Beach and St. Lucia. Definitely recommend!

I loved this hotel. This is everything I was looking for- barefoot all the time, in a bathing suit all the time, lots of privacy. The beach is beautiful and well maintained, the pool is great. Anyone with reviews that you have to walk to the bar to get a drink is very very lazy. It’s extremely close to the bar. And never waited more than 2 minutes to order a drink, I’ve waited much longer to get a drink delivered at other hotels. The gym was much better than we had anticipated and it was never in use. Our room was perfect. We had a one bedroom suite with kitchen and two bathrooms and balcony. It was clean and fully stocked and the balcony view was great. Our friends had rooms in the side of the hotel looking at the construction which was not so great. To me, I think it’s nice there’s different price points at the hotel for rooms. That made our group trip affordable. Two things in these other reviews are true and are why I knocked a star off: 1) there’s not enough food at this hotel. Meals are served at odd intervals and there are no snacks anywhere in between. You have to leave the hotel. For example, from 11-1 on Sunday there was no food anywhere. We did not do the all inclusive so we weren’t mad, just inconvenienced. We did eat at the hotel one night and found it delicious but very slow. 2) a lot of people use this hotel who are not staying at the hotel. This means that getting a chair on the beach or the pool can be challenging. For us, this didn’t bother us much as we got up early and dropped a towel on the chair. However, it was a consideration when waking so I can understand the frustration of some that access is inequitable. All in all would definitely go back

My family and I love this resort. Everyone is friendly. The amazing beach with watersports is right off the resort and they have a floating park on the water. An ideal place for families. One area that can be improved is the organization of the on location restaurant during rush periods. There seems to be no system to when or how you will get your meal at busy times. If you don't remind staff at times you may just never get your meals. There should be a staff member to check on water and bread for each table and a numerical system to ensure orders are delivered in the order in which they're taken. The location is about 2 hours away from the airport and the winding roads and hills on the trip can induce nausea.

The hotel was more shabby than chic, but the staff were very friendly. There is a major building going on to the side for extension to the hotel, so make sure you are not booked in that side as we were. We were moved poolside after two days, which was fine . Service was very slow of an evening due to lack of staff which I had corrected. The entertainment was adequate, but everything seemed to close down after 10.30pm. So if you wanted to drink on you had to go out of the hotel. Summing up, the hotel needs a revamp in various areas but the beach was lovely and swimming beautiful.

Good: - Location - Check in time and welcome drink The bad: - Expensive stay and expensive restaurant (better value for money nearby) - Poor Customer Service in a very rude way on more than one occasion Had several instances where the customer service experience was lacking and disrespectful for e.g. on a Friday night the Security denied our driver entry to drop us off in front the hotel, this made us feel like we were unwelcome as paid guests. Further, when we had a family member visit us, they too were not made to feel welcomed instead denied entry to walkthrough the open lobby area to the beach to find us, lastly, when we ordered a burger and paid extra for bacon, it was omitted, when we called to inform restaurant staff, they promised to bring to our room and never did (not that it's an excuse but for context this was at a time where the hotel restaurant did not appear busy at all). While the location is good right on the beach, the experience with the security especially as mentioned above really soured our stay. Overall, the hotel is in a good location but service needs to be improved, be courteous and ensure you're adding value to your guests experience on each interaction.
