I feel that reviews are subject to the type of person. I prefer to stay at a Ritz Carlton or the Viceroy property. The people at the front desk are very nice. The beach is nice and clean. The water park was fun. The cost of the water park was included in the hotel fees. The actual property is bad. Out dated. Needs major repair. Bathroom toilet seat was broken. I was hoping the cleaning lady would notice the issue. Did not. Had to step up into a shower. Not comfortable. The restaurants breakfast buffet was gross. Missing food. Lacked people. There was no service at the beach. No one coming around which you typically see at a resort. The gym was outdated. Some people who did stay at the property were older.

Absolutely the Worst Customer Service I’ve Ever Experienced I travel every two weeks and stay in different hotels across various countries and regions. I’ve seen it all—or so I thought. But I have never experienced something as unprofessional and frustrating as this. I booked a stay at this property and needed to make a change to the dates. I attempted to do so within 24 hours of booking—well within a reasonable time frame. I called multiple times, at different hours, over several days. Not once did anyone answer the phone. No callbacks, no email responses, no communication whatsoever. Completely unacceptable. I even made a fair offer regarding the reservation to try to resolve things amicably—still nothing. The complete lack of interest in helping guests is truly shocking. For a business in the hospitality industry, this is beyond disappointing. If you value your time, your money, and your sanity—stay far away from this place. Terrible service. Nonexistent communication. Easily the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

Fantastic family vacation location! Seriously. Kids Club with various activities and you can drop older kids off and pick them up for lunch or after afternoon activities. Amazing views and Splash Island water obstacle course was a blast! We did all-inclusive and kids ate free. Good, but slow (Island style) service. Rooms are a bit dated, but do the job. Don’t expect the Ritz, but it is an amazing, relaxed vibe and incredible views. We absolutely loved Bay Gardens Beach and St. Lucia. Definitely recommend!

I loved this hotel. This is everything I was looking for- barefoot all the time, in a bathing suit all the time, lots of privacy. The beach is beautiful and well maintained, the pool is great. Anyone with reviews that you have to walk to the bar to get a drink is very very lazy. It’s extremely close to the bar. And never waited more than 2 minutes to order a drink, I’ve waited much longer to get a drink delivered at other hotels. The gym was much better than we had anticipated and it was never in use. Our room was perfect. We had a one bedroom suite with kitchen and two bathrooms and balcony. It was clean and fully stocked and the balcony view was great. Our friends had rooms in the side of the hotel looking at the construction which was not so great. To me, I think it’s nice there’s different price points at the hotel for rooms. That made our group trip affordable. Two things in these other reviews are true and are why I knocked a star off: 1) there’s not enough food at this hotel. Meals are served at odd intervals and there are no snacks anywhere in between. You have to leave the hotel. For example, from 11-1 on Sunday there was no food anywhere. We did not do the all inclusive so we weren’t mad, just inconvenienced. We did eat at the hotel one night and found it delicious but very slow. 2) a lot of people use this hotel who are not staying at the hotel. This means that getting a chair on the beach or the pool can be challenging. For us, this didn’t bother us much as we got up early and dropped a towel on the chair. However, it was a consideration when waking so I can understand the frustration of some that access is inequitable. All in all would definitely go back

My family and I love this resort. Everyone is friendly. The amazing beach with watersports is right off the resort and they have a floating park on the water. An ideal place for families. One area that can be improved is the organization of the on location restaurant during rush periods. There seems to be no system to when or how you will get your meal at busy times. If you don't remind staff at times you may just never get your meals. There should be a staff member to check on water and bread for each table and a numerical system to ensure orders are delivered in the order in which they're taken. The location is about 2 hours away from the airport and the winding roads and hills on the trip can induce nausea.
